There’s a reason this was the showcase game at the initial reveal. The problem is a RUclips video doesn’t do it justice. In person, on my 85” Sony, it’s mindblowing. A significant step up from the already awesome base PS5 version.
The Global illumination color grading looks fantastic. for me since I already play it like this on the PS5 base with way more detail in the fresnel lighting of objects. By activating the hidden shaders hidden textures and hidden lighting effects. the ps5 pro will take my image quality to a whole other level utilizing the same methods I do with the base PS5

I’m sure it has something to do with RUclips’s video quality, but I also saw a comparison at a friend’s house, who has the PS5 Pro, and I’m really disappointed in the performance improvement. It’s only minimally noticeable. I’m not willing to spend so much money on a product that’s essentially just slightly enhanced. I’ll definitely wait for the PS6. For me, it’s not an upgrade like it was with the PS4 Pro back then. The spec sheet may list a lot of improvements, but in the end, you can barely notice them. Sony products in general have declined a lot recently, anyway.

Although this game is showing its age a bit now I think. It's defiantly looking much sharper and smoother on the Pro (which what we want), and of course the water looks awesome :) ...Whether I can be bothered to play through such a heavily story driven game again is another matter.
It had superb graphics, colors, animation and lighting when originally released on the ps4. And then truly superb with the free patch on ps5 to get it at 60fps. And then they released a “remaster” upgrade for ten more bucks with marginal improvements. Now that upgrade is being played on a ps5 pro with… marginal improvements. The issue isn’t how this game looks on the ps5 pro on its own, it’s how it looks in comparison to how most people already experienced it. Just not worth the money at this point. Will probably be worth it in a year or so with more support/patches and new games.
My love for this game and ghost of Tsushima is on another level I had to platinum both the LOU remastered,LOU part 1 and the the both part 2 and remastered for just how much I love the gameplay and stealth Still going back to play it all over again ❤❤

It's not £200 quid more tho is it because you've got to sell your existing ps5 which your probably going to get £300 for then you have to put another £400+ towards it and you lose a disc drive so all in all it ends up costing you £900+ in the end and you don't even get a disc drive for that

I can say you see clearly a difference on the screen 😂 Surely not a „need to have“ but I really enjoy the sharper views over the mountains a lot. It is really a good step better and even my wife noticed when she entered the room immediately. Not totally surprisingly on a 1440p Video on RUclips which is probably compressed in one or more stations on it’s way to your potential mobile screen you can‘t see the difference in sharpness. For me the pro difference is described well with 4K Streaming vs. a Blu Ray Disc. Everyone who has experienced the difference knows that „4K is not 4K“. But the difference is not huge…for me it is important and worth the Pro.

Fidelity on my pro is locked at 120 according to my tv but pro mode jumps all around... do you have this problem?
It has another mode on the Pro - its called the Pro mode or sth
