To me this song feels like the player is looking back on the past and remembering all the times they had, weather they were alone or with friends, the good or the bad, and now we look to the future and wonder what it will hold for us.

I don't know if it's just me but when I hear Lena Raine's compositions for the game I get a similar nostalgia vibe from them as I do with the classic tracks C418 made, I've been playing this game for almost 10 years yet somehow it hits like that for me, kinda weird but I like it.

Not sure about anyone else, but this song makes me quite emotional about the times I used to enjoy minecraft as a kid, and how far the game has come. This song is a true work of art.

I think about this track now, when I see mentions of Techno - no it isn't malice and or the subtle feeling of dread. But hope. Hope that he's finally at rest. Knowing him, he is happy, and fell happy, making many people smile, laugh, and most importantly, making sure people felt a sense of love. I am sure Techno always knew his inevitable end. But I suppose he did what he wished to do, and made his path. I like to think about Techno, and watching him as I grew up, made me so happy knowing he was doing everything he could to make not just those around him feel special, but the viewer. I will miss Technoblade. I will miss his legacy. And it's also showed me how scary death truly is and why I should take the time to be thankful to have my life.
Goodbye Techno. I hope you're doing safe above the clouds, wherever you may be. You were quite exquisite and a wonderful king.

I have a feeling the "5" music disc isn't the only musical hint towards future content, with Aerie sounding like a proper "Skylands Dimension" name. With the Aether developer on the team that doesn't feel very impossible.
Also the word "Aerie" doesn't mean much besides being a highly elevated birds nest or lingerie producer. Although one definition I found mentioned it could be used to refer to an elevated secluded location, which can refer to floating islands if you look at it from the view of fantasy writing.
Aerie is similar to Aether
Also remember, the Wild update was creatively lead by Kingbdogz, who was the original creator of the Aether. The new ancient cities have a portal-like structure, which Kingbdogz described as having a secret about them. There are small statues of the portal structure, which the game files originally described as portals in the names, but this was changed after being discovered by players.
The likelihood of there being a new dimension in the works is near certain I'd say, and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it's inspired by the Aether, given the person who seems to be in charge of this whole thing.

This song definitely sticks out the most to me from all the new music period. It pulls on the nostalgia strings with the SNES sounding tune it runs reminding me when I was younger playing on a SNES, not a care in the world, no sense of the dangers of the outside world, but when times were good. Godspeed Lena Raine you did not disappoint.

Peaceful music sort of can bring out some of the most fond memories yet make me sad to never be able to go back to them and at the same time be happy I’ve had them
I tear up every time listening to this, it makes me think of everything I've ever done in this game and its just so amazing
Such a soothing, bittersweet and reflective track. That hint of smooth jazziness at the beginning is like a warm cup of cocoa on a cold, sleepy night while wrapped in a blanket, lights off and the TV on gently lighting the room.

This hits me in the nostalgia like nothing has and brings back so many great memories I've had with this game
Makes me really miss the good ol days, when I wasn't a adult and had no worries other than homework and what to do with friends on weekends. Makes me wish my gramps was still around, it was the one game I ever managed to get him to enjoy.

Whenever I hear this song, it always reminds me of Techno. I heard this a lot after his passing, and listening now takes me right back to then. It's unfair that such a thing would happen to such a caring, hard-working person.

You wanted to get yourself tissues but you’re alone. In 2020. your old best friend said: “bro i gotta move away im so sorry we can’t see again.” Then you said: “Whatsapp?” He said: “nawh bruh i can’t im sorry” This is the end of your friendship. You cannot ever see him again. You cried so hard. and its past your bedtime and you turned off the tv and went to sleep. but you cried. and cried.

This really sounds like a ghibli ending song
this song has microtonal notes to its melody, meaning some of the notes played don’t exist on the piano because the pitch is somewhere in between the ordinary intervals we are familiar with with the westernized, 81-key piano (which virtually all music we listen to follows with very few to no exceptions) you can hear this around the build-up starting at 2:25. i think it’s beautiful

I miss being young and not having to care about work or college and getting jobs and just being able to play games all day with my online friends. It sometimes feels like I'm the only one who longs to go back to these times but they've recently ended for me and I can't help but wish I'd lived my youth to its fullest. I'm 16 now and life is only getting more difficult. I have to work and pay to see my long distance girlfriend and I recently got kicked out and I can't even play video games until I get a new house. Hopefully we'll all be able to relive these old memories soon enough but it's time for a short rest. It's been a long few years...

I used to listen to this a lot after I finally got away from my severely abusive and violent family and my childhood house was destroyed. I was free, and my old life was long dead and gone. I felt dead yet so, so alive, like I was walking into the next thing while in this mortal body. It is a song to me of peaceful, welcomed endings, and a twinkling of the beginning in the horizon.
You've never heard it before and yet it sounds so familiar. Faint tunes in the background bring back memories you thought were lost to time. The more you listen, the more you see the ghosts of the past, whoever they may be. They surround you and start playing their tune on little wooden flutes.
They say, "Welcome back player! I can't believe how long it's been!"
You nod and shed a single tear before wiping it away. Then you realized these people were your friends you thought you'd never see again, family members who were covered in flowers and now deep within the Earth, those who had great meaning to you and left too soon.

Honestly it doesn't fit minecraft's base music, or even the rest of the wild update music. It honestly feels like wedding music. It's nice on its own, but definitely out of place in minecraft.

at night, i leave my computer on with minecraft running so that the title screen music keeps playing. it's calming, and helps me sleep. this was always my favorite song, it just feels so peaceful and nostalgic, i love this one hour version
I often put C418s music in such a high regard, both because he is one of my all time favs and has amazing music even outside of minecraft, but because it was also the music of my childhood. I look up to a song like this now because it feels like a new chapter, I'm no longer playing alone on my Xbox 360, I have Java now and I'm playing with all my friends. Music is really something special. :' )

Terraria has music boxes that you can use to capture and replay any soundtrack at any time. I would love to see something similar added to minecraft because it is somewhat annoying to have to travel to a particular biome to hear a specific soundtrack.
This reminds me of when I played Minecraft with my brother a couple years back, sadly it is no longer a common thing
Through a series of events that might sound outlandish to some, this song has become something very special for my partner and I. It's "our song," despite having no lyrics whatsoever. Somehow though, that makes it that much more beautiful. It doesn't need to have words to give us meaning. Similarly, my partner and I are the sort that could sit in a room in silence and still enjoy each other's company.
And yet, this is still a soundtrack from an age old block game. I just think that's neat.
