I'm 27... I don't wanna grow no more. It's scary... I don't want to place my last block...
I used to spend hours playing minecraft with my sister, but as we both got older she stopped playing but I still loved gaming. She recently moved to university and I joined one of our old worlds. I saw our old horses that we would race, our giant tunnel at bedrock, our graves for our old pets who passed.
This song seems to be the only one who gives me real nostalgia. It reminds me of the fun I used to have and how things got progressively worse but then everything seems to finish with a happy ending.
Crazy how life changes. Even with covid and losing two loved ones, the world carries on. But life is good. Just keep thinking of the future and what life has to come. Don't look back and frown, smile and reminisce in the great memories. Thank you Minecraft, for everything you've done for me. (:

It's times like these that I long for the simpler times, where life wasn't so complicated or sad. But this song, this feeling... it reminds me of a day when life was easy, simple, and blissful. I know I cannot go back in time and live that day again. But I do know that I can make this day and all future days a little bit better by just reminding myself that life can be beautiful, that despite the hardships of the world, some good things never change. "lets go on one more adventure, okay buddy?"

I remember watching people play Minecraft, so jelous that i couldn't play. I didn't have a great childhood but Minecraft helped me through it. This game saved my life and I am forever grateful for it. This song is my favorite out of the soundtrack and everytime I hear it I can feel all the sadness being sucked out of me

I find a book and quill. I keep one hidden in everyone’s base. For moments like these. I go to the tallest point in sifts base and open the book. I pour my heart and soul into the first page, then the second, the third, the fourth, and so on. He asks to see it. I drop it.

He drops it back after a bit.
“That was sad.”

The stars, even though being only Minecraft pixels, are beautiful. I once again open the book and begin writing.

I remember now.
It's all coming back. All the nights I spent on the recliner in my room, turtle beach headset on, exploring the tutorial world with my friends on Xbox 360. I can practically still hear the *voop, voop, voop, pop, vvop, pop* sounds of navigating the menus. I remember the feel of my blue Rock Candy controller in my hands. I remember the survival world we shared. I remember our underground base, and the one room it had with a floor made entirely of crafting tables. I remember our big projects to recreate the Five Nights At Freddy's locations. I remember the mansion we built in creative, with all the military vehicles we made around it. I remember using the Elf skin from Skin Pack 2. I remember the little town we made.

this is my favorite survival song, and it played the first time I got the Hero of the Village achievement. defeating a raid was the most fun thing I've ever done in minecraft, and I wish I could do it for the first time again. I remember the sense of accomplishment I felt and then hearing this song on top of it, I nearly sobbed. also, this song played when I went mining for diamonds in one of my worlds. I have a terrible sense of direction and got lost in the caves. I spent nearly 20 minutes looking for my way out when I finally found it and right as I neared the surface this song played. I went inside and showed my dog the diamonds I had gotten. I was gone for days. i am listening to this during christmas this year 2020 and we all know how's this year been. but, hours before christmas eve, I've recived a message from my grandma that my great grandfather died hours before christmas. he wasn't able to make it. now while listening to this, i can see all the memories and flashbacks with him and when it hits the climax point in the song, my gosh my heart just breaks into half and i start crying.
The year is 2016. Its a warm summer night. You sit down and start Minecraft up. The sensational music, the excitment, and the absolute calmness of the game makes you smile. You sit there playing and enjoying the game. After hours of playing the game, you shut the game off and cover up in your bed. You close your eyes and drift off into a wonderful dream.

This takes me back to when I was seven years old, I can remember the exact day, the exact time when my brother showed me and my sister Minecraft on our iPad... We were sitting in my dad’s car outside at the time. We would always just build stuff and try to survive. I have never knew that just this little sandbox game could make up a good part of my childhood. My brother is now in university and I’m happy that he introduced me to Minecraft, or I would not even be writing this and tearing up in joy to this soundtrack. Truly, my brother was a hero for showing me this game.

My older brother used to play Minecraft with me, on the PS3 we shared. But that was what feels like eons ago. Our world was in creative, back when the beds were red and it was confusing to look around. I don't think that banners were in the game either. I remember that my brother had a quartz house, and I was building a staircase into the sky with quartz stairs. I think I was going to build my house in the sky. I never got to. At the end of my staircase, netherrack on fire was stacked on top of each other, one on each side of a ladder. The ladder still doesn't lead to anything. Me and my brother both have PS4s now. My brother tries to pretend like I never actually played with him; that it was a figment of my imagination. It wasn't. We don't get along much now, with my brother not really liking or caring about me. But no matter what he does or says, there'll always be a version of him that cared about me, and maybe still does. There'll always be that kid who instead of calling his sibling dumb for not having the idea, actually show'd them how to do it. And there'll always be the memories.
I know what you mean. Me and my older brother would play everyday. I Remember one world we were trying to make a hotel. We would goof around and laugh. We loved each other so much and he cared for me. As we got older we stopped playing, and we grew apart. I just wanna go back to the good days when we were so close I miss him and what we had. Now we very rarely have good days with each other. But like you, there were always be that version of him hat cared and loved for me. And there will always be those memories, and I hope to have more one day.

its the year 2040. you decide to go to play minecraft after not playing it for a year or so. you go onto the game and notice all your friends online, which normally doesnt happen. you decide to go onto am online server with them all. you don't know why, but for some reason the chat keeps saying odd things and its almost as if they're counting as well. they seem sad for some reason and so you ask "what's going on ?" once you asked this, everyone counting got down to one. one of your friends responded to your question with "oh, you don't know...?" but before he cpuld explain, something happens. you get kicked from the server and the screen seems blank. and then suddenly, this song begins to play. you're hit with a wave of nostalgia as you listen to it and remember all the old times. about a minute after the song begins, you begin to see text popping up on the screen.

I remember several years back, every night before I went to bed, even on school nights my dad and I would hop on our Playstation 3 and play minecraft. We built so many cities and buildings. It was some of the best times I ever had. I remember creating Las Vegas. He had built this Casino. Me, with my child brain, bombed part of it. I felt so bad. We had rebuilt the casino together and we finally finished las vegas. We tried to get on the next night and we started having issues. Over the next few years we created more and more buildings. One night our hard drive corrupted. I still have the world even though i will never be able to see it again. That city holds a special place in my heart. My dad and I always played, and I will never forget the memories I made with him just playing a game.

this makes me cry everytime because i just think of my childhood and all the nostalgia it gives me. All the fun times and friends i made. Literally nothing could ever replace those moments. Where i strived for adventure in an infinite world of blocks. The more and more i think about this the more sad i get. I had such a good childhood man and i cant stop thinking about it. It was such a good game and it even had some educational value to it. Its so much better than games or social media platforms these days.
