    Great Job DJ Kris, I had those and although I like the idea mines became to unpredictable at any decent range at weddings. I'll stick to the Alto stealth or my Sennheiser body pack systems for now. I did get the keep the B3 system almost the same thing but actually give you battery life info. Thanks for the Idea as using them for the cocktail hour to a speaker above my Ipad.

      Thanks for checking it out. I would like the the Senheiser wireless in ear system myself but have not been able to commit the funds. This has been working for me pretty well. Like I stated I have have had pretty good luck and a little bit of problems depending on location and number of people. For the price I have been happy with it. Especially as a quick easy wireless mic system where it has shined. 👍🎤

    The signal on the Xvive U3 is too finicky. Used the system at a recent wedding and it was waay too choppy if anyone walked past it. But it did do pretty well for what I needed it for, the speeches. I placed a speaker around the corner so I could have the people in an odd shaped room to be able to hear without having to crank up the volume which can end up causing feedback. I'm going to try the Sennheiser as I'm not sure I'd trust Alto's system. Great vid.

      Thanks, I have had great luck with it. I do take a 2 or 3 foot cable and place it over the top of the speaker to get it up higher with a line of site. (Works for me)

    Looks like a pretty good speaker. Yorkville and Mackie make some pretty good ones, too. The EXM Mobles are nice and come on different sizes but they don't pair with each other. The Mackies do which is a big advantage. Does the one you showed pair with other speakers of the same type? Also I'm curious about battery recharge life or how many times can you recharge the speaker before the battery loses its ability to hold a charge? I also own the Xvive system and I really like it but again I'm wondering when the battery will die. It would be great to be able to swap out the battery like a power tool. I know it would cost a bit but its better than tossing out the entire unit.

    • @KrisSzanto
      @KrisSzanto  4 года назад +2

      The ip300 is not a battery powered speaker. You can pair it with others through bluetooth. The xvive battery is not changeable. Like a phone battery I suspect it will last for some time with slow degradation over time. Thanks for the info on the other speakers. Hopefully I can check them out sometime. Thanks for watching the vid and for the input.

    What I 'd like to see is for you (or someone) to plug the transmitter into a mixer board and broadcast to a powered speaker placed at different distances from the mixer up to a couple hundred feet away. Obviously the receiver would be plugged into the Powered speaker. This would allow you to have mic AND music broadcast at the same time. I've tried some systems and there seems to be a "fuzz" or "zhuzz" sound when speaking or singing into the mic with the above setup. You would probably have to use an adapter from the mixer out to the transmitter. Do some messing around with this and let us know how this works. Thanks!

    • @KrisSzanto

      Thanks for watching. The result would be the same. Not sure what you think would or could be different. The most important thing that i have noticed is the placement of both. I often drape reciever over front of speaker to keep line of site and have really good results. I have used it from the output of one speaker (k12) to another (k8) and had great results.

    That was very informative sir, I have a compact subwoofer Alto TX212S that has highpass 100hz, do you think iP300 can pair well them? I'm worried about the crossover interference/lag between 90hz iP300 n 100hz sub, any recomendations will help.

    • @KrisSzanto
      @KrisSzanto  5 месяцев назад

      I am not sure. My best guess is that they would work pretty well together. I have not tried pairing it with a sub as I usually corner it for a cocktail hour, small ceremony or satellite speaker.

  • @jasonrickett561

    In a controlled test, sure you can get that distance. If you factor in audience with cell phones (2.5 and 5 ghz) and other wireless (IEM, etc), you find that the range is not very good for the xvive. I use the xvive IEM and I end up having to dangle an XLR cable close to me, so that it does not get interference from other band member’s IEMs and wireless mics.

      Thanks for checking this vid out and commenting. I have had pretty good luck with it. I was using it for a mic for about a year doing trivia at an Applebees and was able to navigate the enitre restaurant withought a problem. (No walls) For sending music to another speaker I have noticed line of site I am pretty solid but often make sure my units are in direct line of site even if it means using a short cable to bring them to the front or side of a speaker. I have had problems 25ft away and on the other side of doorways as can be expected. (Wish it wasnt) I too have run some cable to make things work at times just to get them closer together. I do wonder though how much difference it is making for you with other devices that are similar as I have only run one xvive at 2.5 and one other unit -offbrand at 5ghz and they played well together in a multi room estate wedding reception... again, line of site.

    Hey bro, thank you for the insight in both videos. Just bought mine today thanks to you 🙌🏿 where do you set your volume on the IP300? Do you go the full 10db or do you have it lower down. Would really appreciate a reply please. By the way I’ve put them on top of a pair of RCF 905ASII 😍. Thank you. DJ Boombastic

    • @KrisSzanto

      Thanks for watching. I set the level as I need it. You have to remeber that this unit has individual channel volume and master volume so you will need to do some gain structuring, especially when running with those rcfs. I suggest finding the nominal level you normally run at and adjust the Turbosound to fit. Hope this helps.

    Can I connect a sub from the XLR link out? I don't want to connect a mixer. Great video!

    • @KrisSzanto
      @KrisSzanto  3 года назад

      Thanks for watching. Yes you can plug any speaker in with the link. There is not a setting in the speaker to add the sub so you will have to play around with it a bit to get the best sound possible. Depending on your sub inputs and outputs if it has them, I would probably go sub out to top in. (Easier, cleaner cabling)

      DJ Kris Szanto Sorry to keep pestering you. What’s the Diehard Battery inside the van.

    • @KrisSzanto
      @KrisSzanto  4 года назад

      @@djgregorywiggs9584 lol.. not pestering at all. I have a diehard 1150 but am considering a Enkeeo portable power station. I have a few friends who have raved about them. The Enkeeo have lithium ion batteries. Also the power meter on the diehard with speaker and mic plugged in is not reliable. It drops sharply with gear plugged in, but reflect different percentages when unplugged. (Hard to judge what's left) Also have gotten some minor noise with qsc k8 plugged in, but not ip300.

    • @KrisSzanto
      @KrisSzanto  4 года назад +1

      Hi Milos, thanks for watching the video. There is always a chance for feedback if you are in close proximity a speaker. There are alot of variables. However witha mic plugged directly into the unit I have had a great experience with no feedback. I use this speaker for trivia nights a few tines a week and literally have the speaker within arms length but above my head. No feedback. I am positioned slightly behind and to the left or right. I would not suggest being directly in front, but why would you want to. 👍
