For me I had the same issue Dan had once with one of the top units. I think those connectors are super sensitive to dust. I blasted the connectors out with canned air and have done many sound related gigs since with my IP2000's without that or any issues at all. I love my IP2000's and I will run them until they don't run any more.
Funny enough I sold my IP1000 and had to take it back because of a similar issue. I haven’t had a chance to chase it down but it is no longer my go-to for solo gigs.
IP1000 has been great for me. I did have an issue with mine last year that I had to get a warranty repair. But other than the inconvenience of that, I have to admit that this amp has played an important role in all my solo and some duo gigs. I think simply, they do the job for me.
@@mista2vista4 Yes it was making crackling noise and sound was going in and out. Turbosound instructed me to unscrew the “brain” part (circuit board) from the base and send it to them. I had to disconnect a big main cable from the speaker in order to pull the circuit board out and I don’t know without experimenting…. But I’m starting to wonder if ultimately I should have disconnected it, sprayed air into it, and reconnected it.. maybe I could have bypassed sending it back. Maybe it would have come back on and been fine. 🤷♂️ Anyways, I got a new circuit board piece, reinstalled it, and the tower has been really good to me for 100s more gigs now.
My personal favorite is the JBL eon one pro. I used to work in sales for a big box store and that unit was the only one that never had issues on the floor. It always sounds great. Great *BASS* and hardly ever any feedback.
Btw the output issue on your setup might be coming from the voice live. I believe you can turn the output volume up on the voice live so that you don't have to crank the PA to max.
Can you switch the input level between mic/line on the iP300... or do you just have to be extra careful not overdrive the inputs with a mixer's line level signal?!
I recently bought the ip2000. I have a 3 piece band, small venue. 1 acoustic, keyboard and vocals. Individual line checks sound great but when we all get going, it gets really compressed and covered. Is there a built in limiter or compressor than can be adjusted or turned off? Thanks
Ive had a few problems with thier class d amps. One was replaced on warranty after a year. And 3 years later i might need to replace the other one. Anyone have a ball park idea what the power module is running these days?
I have the ip2000 v1 and ip2000 v2. Ive found the v2 is slightly more refined with DSP options and greater dynamic sound overall when tinkering with the eq compared to the v1 serious. Overall, when properly used and dialed up with a decent mixer, these units are amazing. I have 5 x ip2000's and I've used them at close to 500-600 events for PA, DJ and background music events.

Wouldn't it be great if that tower broke down though? #justsayin
Hi! Did your issue with the IP1000 have to do with random cracklin?

I’ve had a similar experience. I found it’s best to keep the input level into it low, and let its amplifier do the work.

IP 1000 = LD System Maui 11 and IP 2000 = LD System Maui 28
Are the LD and Turbsound towers interchangeable? Could I put a Turbosound ip1000 tower into an LD Maui 11 sub?
Área awesome ip1000
