Here's Jilfia (my pet Salty) coming inside my home to be fed & also wanting some company with me. Addit: Do not ever try to approach or feed a crocodile !!
Just letting you all know I am not afraid of this Croc, but yes, I am naturally cautious and wary when near her......she is a Salltwater Crocodile, after all !! I posted this video to demonstrate how intelligent these crocs are and are also quite capable of learning and responding to verbal commands. However, these ancient apex predators also demand and deserve to be respected and also feared......they should never be approached or fed like this in the wild or anywhere else !! Jilfia was hatched and raised in captivity and has become accustomed to being fed like this by me......
Vicki Lowing May God take care of you lady. I pray that you or your family don’t get eaten one day. She might be raised in captivity but who knows what she is thinking.
Why even bring it to your house though? It’s still dangerous and won’t even hesitate to eat you or someone else whenever it feels like. This is dumb, you wanna feed it, feed it at whichever swamp it came from
This croc was hatched and raised in captivity, as a pet...she wouldn't survive in the wild. And she's never shown any aggression towards me either, coz she's never had reason to do so !!
The Keeper she literally kept moving back as she was feeding it plus she had to put a chair infront of it so it doesn't bite on her and eat her, you gotta know her heart was beating throughout the whole video it's 45% caution and 45% terrified
Lol you notice the camera person was not moving any closer. They’re like I can record from back here. I could be wrong but that little bit of food is nothing I’m sure it’s thinking about eating you. Interesting video. Not sure how I came across it.
Thanks Kay Jewels, for your comment.....yeah, the bloke filming this was a tad nervous of my pet.....and no, you're wrong about Jilfia thinking about eating me......she just knows I've got the food for her and she loves her food.....that little bit of food I feed her adds up to a lot of food in total......up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs) in just one meal !
These should not be pets. One of the world's biggest reptiles with some of the strongest jaws, and from what I assume, an individual with little to no experience. You're just asking for disaster. Animals, particularly the these kind, are UNPREDICTABLE. You might be telling yourself "oh but she's so sweet! She could never hurt me!" But you just wait. This is NOT a good idea.
Lil Kodak there jaws are capable of a newton force of 16,450. we as humans biting into a steak are only capable of 200 newton force. so there jaws are most definetely powerfull when biting opening on the other hand there not so good at
This crocodiles are smart every second he/she is there is learning her habits, timing her on her walk, timing her on her reaction time, looking at where she likes to go or where she does not like to go, every second that crock is there its planning on how to kill her.
It's only going to take one minute, one second, one distraction. That's it. All it wants is food. It can't give you love. It won't do tricks. It's not happy sitting on your kitchen floor. You seriously need to rethink this situation. And charge your phone.
Los Games when she left the thing unsupervised and went to the room I almost had a heart attack. I know the cameraman was there but she left him alone with the animal multiple times and she's even scared to be close to it.
Awww, she's like, mom I just wanted to hang out with you 😊 she's beautiful ❤ how do your crocs do around visitors? Are crocs able to be domesticated because Jilly seems very sweet and friendly. How is she doing in her new home? Hope all is well for Jilly and she's adjusted Ok, if you visit her any time soon can you post a video, I've been following your channel for quite some time, although I rarely comment, I love watching your interactions with your pets, crocs get such a bad name, like sharks do, thanks for educating us here on you tube.
Hi Morticia Addams, Thanks for your comment & for following my channel......I really appreciate your support. Yes, Jilly is a beautiful Croc & really was a very placid and trusting one with me. I would say she was very much domesticated here when living with me coz we really did have a bond between us. She was also very good around strangers providing I was also there with them. Unfortunately, I don't think she will be the same where she is living now coz she's been treated like a normal croc......not badly but not the same way I treated her. I really feel for her in her new home where she is no doubt feeling abandoned & betrayed by me. And yes, I will most definitely post a video of her when I eventually find the money & time to go visit her. Thank you once again for your supportive comments which really mean a lot to me & I appreciate it so much too. xxx
You're a joke... The fact that you are terrified of what the croc can do to you if you get close to it's mouth shows why these creatures shouldn't be taken in as pets. Just let the wild stay in the wild why aren't you people just happy with domesticated dogs and cats never ceases to amaze me
The fact that she's apprehensive about it only shows her maturity and ability to think rationally. Obviously if you're around an animal like that you have to be reasonable and careful. You should be careful with dogs and cats too, btw. A cat scratch can land you in hospital with nasty and dangerous infections. You can inhale water from a tropical fish tank containing the amoeba Naegleria Fowlerii and die within 5 days (it's so rare it pretty much never happens, but it is theoretically possible:). If you think about it nothing around you is 100% safe. Any animal can be a pet as long as you are responsible and capable of providing it with adequate conditions and care. Some people just have a different passion than your stereotypical cat or dog or fish, but that doesn't mean they're wrong or stupid. Plus, in the wild these animals face lethal dangers that can decimate their population and cause them a considerable amount of stress and suffering. They are regularly killed by humans, hit by cars, suffer from diseases, parasites, injuries and infections that rarely happen in proper captive care. Their habitat is constantly at risk of destruction, pollution and urbanization. If we really want animals like this to thrive in the wild, we should first probably make sure that they have a home to return to.
+Amber Fire first and foremost let's not get into rare diseases then we can go ahead and talk about why you shouldn't even go outside and have a cup of coffee at a restaurant cause of the off chance you get a contaminated spoon which can and has lead to fatal health issues. Let's put all that aside. A croc living in the wild and die of diseases etc for a short lifespan is better than one living in captivity by it's lonesome. I'm sure you will agree with the same thing. Crocodiles are the most social of all reptiles and this one is by itself. We are social begins would you want to live alone in an alienated home or with your family in the wild with the dangers that come with it? I'm pretty certain a vast majority of people will choose option B. And please don't call my suggestions of animals to be stereotypical it's cause of people like her Zoos exist. Animals should never be held in captivity. If every person who ever visited a zoo did so cause they love animals then they should really consider changing their diets and their options of clothing instead of visiting zoos etc.....so yes I agree that these creatures don't have a home at the moment but crocs will continue to be breed solely for the use of being pets if people like this woman continue to want them. P.S. I've been around dogs and cats since I was 2 years old even stray ones (from my country of Sri Lanka) and never have I been bit or scratched by a single one. The one Sri lankan crocodile that was near a river were we used to play around attacked a villager and torn off his hand. You see the immediate danger differences? You can't even compare the two.
Crocodiles may be the most social of reptiles, but they do not form social groups and merely congregate in certain areas and tolerate each other at times of feeding etc. They are not like wolves that will wither away in isolation. But even assuming that crocodiles do indeed require being kept in a group to be happy, all it means is that this woman is maybe making a mistake by keeping it alone. It doesn't however mean that the whole practice of keeping crocs as pets is wrong, because maybe somewhere else there's somebody with an enormous fenced-in garden that has a lot of money and is capable of keeping a whole pack of crocs. Assuming that that other person would be able to provide his crocodiles with everything they need and would have enough common sense and knowledge to keep himself and others around him safe, then there would be absolutely nothing wrong with him keeping these animals. Besides, having a passion for animals is not some sort of disorder or a sign of being lonely/unhappy. Some people just genuinely are into it, and should not be denied their passion as long as they are able to meet all their animals' needs, both physical and psychological.
Clorox Bleach I was just thinking that "sure she thinks she knows what the croc is thinking but, since when did she ever have the ability to read that animals mind?" in simple words she can't. Anything can happen. This indeed was still dumb.
This woman is like the coolest person on the internet, if my mother would see an alligator trying to get inside, she'd automatically die of heart attack.. So I digressed as usual, but I actually meant to compliment that totally badass woman inviting a crocodile inside like it's a dog. Honestly, this video almost melted me inside..
Fred Polizzi , Firstly she's not an alligator, she's a Saltwater Crocodile & she's also 11 years old.....so still a youngster. And for the record, I'm not scared of her but naturally wary of her. And i do pet her regularly ! Thanks for your interest & reply :)
Vicki Lowing I enjoyed watching you interact with your animal. I see the care you take for the comfort and protection for the both of you. If it makes you happy then people should mind their own business. I think it's ironic that men and women can have sex changes and all other kinds of personal decisions and people all over the world jump to the rescue if someone has a different opinion or dares to voice anything that differs from their agenda. You on the other hand are minding your own business, not hurting or forcing your beliefs or opinions on others. Not harming the animal and enjoying taking care of it. It most definitely enjoys the regular meals! I also understand you speak more to the animal for your own enjoyment and millions of folks do the same thing with all sorts of creatures knowing full well they don't comprehend what your saying. Maybe the tone gets through on some maybe not. My point is, you keep doing you and ignore the haters. Be safe and enjoy your life as you see fit.
Thank you so much Yoie Gunderson, for your lovely & supportive comment. I really appreciate it & your understanding of my interaction with my Croc. And as for the haters & their comments, i do ignore them coz they obviously don't have any comprehension of bonding with an animal. But it sure is nice to read the occasional positive comment like yours which always puts a smile on my face. So, thank you again & you be safe too and enjoy your life ! :)
Rashida Davis. you took the words right out my mouth I was saying the same thing I stopped watching the video I hate people like that reminds me of people on the phone about paying your bill you can't understand a damn thing they say
Did anybody out there see that guy from South America who saved that Alligator who was shot and left for dead? That was one huge Alligator who literally swam with that guy in the river and he feed him and took care of him. Check it out; an amazing vid that has to be seen to b believed
Well, I understand that people find this dangerous. But I guess the lady knows what the risks are. So, as long she's taking care of the croc, it seems to be happy.
Maybe, maybe not. But that's not for us to decide. Some people say that I am stupid for lifting heavy weights in the gym, which can be also dangerous, with over 300 pounds on your back.
This lady is incredibly brave. I cannot imagine a situation where I could do what she does with this croc. Her heart is in the right place and she is cautious and very cognizant of the capabilities of this dinosaur (LOL). I pray she continues to be a beacon and caregiver for those animals who cross her path. I also pray for her safety while she cares for her critters. 😊
wow....thank you so much, luenhoek, for your really nice positive comment. It's not very often I receive a positive comment & I appreciate it very much. And thank you too, for praying for my safety, which i also appreciate very much. THANK YOU !! :)

Vicki Lowing In terms of the crocodile being ‘capable of learning and responding to verbal commands’, next time, can you ask it to leave the house?
Yep.......I sure can do that......I've only just fed her and she's just left the house as I type this......pity I didn't film it......next time :)
Vicki Lowing May God take care of you lady. I pray that you or your family don’t get eaten one day. She might be raised in captivity but who knows what she is thinking.
She needs water.
Vicki Lowing - Yeah but she doesn't want the food you serving. She prefers eating you!!!
The croc is basically like: “Free food daily, I’m not ruining this by being an ass.”
A proof that animals hate wild live but need to so nature dont gets destroyed
Also shelter from cold weather. The croc knows not to ruin a good setup.
Stop swearing!!!!! Gosh!!

Why is she scared to get close?i thought it was a pet

That's a saltie. Not a caiman or dwarf crocodile or alligator. I would be extremely careful, in fact Its not a good idea to feed it.

Chandru Mailvaganam *ceases
Alexander E thanks.... Haha that was funny now that I look at it
Can you imagine if she sold her house? Some poor person would be surprised to see a gator following them in for their dinner.
I think shes adorable!
Thank you !
Eddi Haskell so does the croc...
I’ve never seen this breed of dog before.
LPSstarcasm 😂😂
Lol
she is a good girl😝😝😝
😱😰😔
It's obviously a large gecko, not a dog.
That's just Stupid!!!
Grecia Robain Did you not read what she said in the comments? I wonder who’s stupid now. :)
Yeah. For both her and the croc. :/
Clorox Bleach I was just thinking that "sure she thinks she knows what the croc is thinking but, since when did she ever have the ability to read that animals mind?" in simple words she can't. Anything can happen. This indeed was still dumb.
Clorox Bleach about that why do people put dumb smiley faces?
Grecia Robain ik you are but what am i

Sanju Sharma one day horse kick you 😅😅😅
Cazy Lil are u sure???
Sanju Sharma you could be suprised, if you aint careful a horse can kick you from behind...
A horse kick crippled me grandmother.
😂😂😂
This woman is like the coolest person on the internet, if my mother would see an alligator trying to get inside, she'd automatically die of heart attack.. So I digressed as usual, but I actually meant to compliment that totally badass woman inviting a crocodile inside like it's a dog.
Honestly, this video almost melted me inside..
Thank you so much Fred Polizzi, for your complimentary comment !
No problems, also sorry but I gotta ask, how old is your alligator friend ??
How the hell do you get it out your house? Ask it to leave ....
Gtf😂
Chantanaye Hudley ...Im lmao
Cannot understand one word this woman is saying.
Rashida Davis you're not the only one

And also why did she shut it inside, blocking its only exit?!
Bjørn Madsen
As I said, its her pet.
I don't trust crocodiles.
It’s good to see but I know one thing these reptiles are hard to be trusted,as we can see this lady is cautious as well.
Did anybody out there see that guy from South America who saved that Alligator who was shot and left for dead? That was one huge Alligator who literally swam with that guy in the river and he feed him and took care of him. Check it out; an amazing vid that has to be seen to b believed
It was a crocodile in Costa rica.thats central not south
So adorable! I wish crocodiles/alligators could be properly domesticated like cats and dogs :)
Me too
Well, I understand that people find this dangerous. But I guess the lady knows what the risks are. So, as long she's taking care of the croc, it seems to be happy.
Thank you for your comment CrniWuk !!
I dont think vicky will be happy as breakfast,
Its stupid to have a croc.
Maybe, maybe not. But that's not for us to decide. Some people say that I am stupid for lifting heavy weights in the gym, which can be also dangerous, with over 300 pounds on your back.
CrniWuk we have a Bad ass Here
tht damn croc thinking of a master plan
KourtKnee D. They ALWAYS ARE. Highly intelligent, intuitive PREDATORS. She is putting herself in grave danger.
I got chills watching this video, not because the croc is stalking you - but because you know it.
Dats too small it wants to eat u you can see sheees fearful
Your stu pid
Adrian And Aldrin Diaz did you see where the snake ate da baby
In
Bendy The Dancing Demon your life is stupid an learn how to spell
sheldon sheldon Maybe she can feed those noisy goats to the crocodile. Those little pieces of chicken will not be enough dinner.
more like incredibly stupid.......no offense
Luis Almodovar How? Or is this paranoia bleeding in?
