Vicki Lowing I’m absolutely fascinated by your relationship it’s given me an appreciation and love for crocodiles I never thought I’d have. I tell my friends about it but they don’t believe me because everyone has such a negative view of crocs. Everyone should watch your videos😃
@@elizaa3523 Thank you so much for your positive comment Eliza & I'm so glad you like my videos & they've had a positive effect on you. It's so true how the majority of people have such a negative opinion & see crocs as just instinctive killers. We all know how dangerous crocs can be, especially Salties like Jilly, however, I've discovered another side to these beautiful animals. When raised in a captive environment & treated with love, kindness & respect, crocs are capable of bonding with their keeper & appear to have a gentle & sensitive side to them & are very intelligent animals too. After all, they are over 80 million years old unchanged & survived the ice age ! Mankind has managed to nearly destroy our beautiful world in such a short time.......and we believe we're intelligent ?? :)

I know how you must feel because I was one of the first subscribers and I use to write to you and keep up with Jilly and I loved seeing you guys together. I also loved Jovian. By the way did you keep him or did they also take him away. It’s so sad and I know first hand how you must feel after owning an animal for so long. Vicki Lowing vikki Im so glad to hear from you, really. I’ve been so depressed over my dogs passing that I cry everyday. I can only imagine how sad you feel about Jilly. She was so beautiful and she was well trained and listened to whatever you asked her to do. People don’t really understand what animal lovers go through or that their animals are put through stress. Thanks again for your supportive comment and here's sending my and jilly's love back to you xxx
Wow jilly is a beaut. Bless you lady for takibg care of her. I know it hurts to let go of your baby but i truly believe jilly wont forget you. I saw a clip just like this but in Indonesia, its no close compared to how you took care of jilly. The Indonesian man's croc is ugly, i dont blame the croc but its owner. Its head does not match his body size. Its head is really small but its body looked obese. Just cooped up every day of its life in a small property. Just Sad and it makes me angry
Thank you for your comment Lou Ferdinand Almendra ! And yes, I don't believe Jilly will ever forget me either......she's just so far from where I live and I miss her terribly. I just didn't have a choice but to re-home her for fear of the authorities confiscating her from me & then euthenasing her. She was well looked after here and had plenty of room to walk around and a new big enclosure built just for her, but the authorities didn't approve of me having her as a "pet" !! And yes, I know exactly how you feel about animals not being looked after properly....makes me angry too !
You didn't miss anything Frances......I myself still don't understand why I was forced to re-home Jilly by the wildlife department......she was well looked after and securely enclosed here at my home. But what I do know, is that I had to move Jilly away from here for her own safety coz the wildlife dept have the power to confiscate animals & euthenase them for whatever reason they come up with.
@@TheCroclady can you setup a go fund page and let me and the world help you get her back somehow ? I'm all the way in Cincinnati Ohio and have heard your story now. It's sad to see this happen to anyones pet
Yes, that would be good, but I doubt her new owner will do that. However, he may post some pics of her etc on his page......her new owner is Matt Wright, also known as the Outback Wrangler.....And I will most certainly post updates on her when I visit her. Unfortunately though, I won't be able to visit her as often as I'd love to coz she's so far away now & it's costly for me to fly to Darwin & back from here.
Hi Mighty fine Reptiles, thanks for your comment. As for keeping crocs in WA, I'm afraid I don't know whether or not you're allowed to keep them. If I was you, I would give the Parks & Wildlife Service a call & ask them, okay :)
Well.....from what I've recently learned after keeping crocs for 28 years, is that you are allowed to keep crocs (under certain conditions in some states) providing you have a licence to hold the crocs, BUT apparently, not as pets, so I've been told !!
That is terrible that they made you give away a pet you raised for over 10 years. I hope that they are least take good care of Jilly and that she lives a long life.
Yep.....I still can't believe I was forced to re-home Jilly......the wildlife officers don't believe you can have reptiles, especially crocodiles as pets......which is ridiculous coz I know heaps of people who keep reptiles as pets as well as myself for the past 50 years. I know it's unusual to keep crocs as pets but I've been doing it for 30 years now & love my crocs to bits. i'm missing Jilly terribly & she no doubt is missing me & feeling confused as to why she's been re-homed. Her new owners are good people and know a lot about crocs too. However, they deal with wild caught crocs & Jilly is very much a domesticated croc who responds to gentle care etc. I just hope Jilly adapts to her new home which I'm sure she will eventually.
@@TheCroclady she will mum, soon enough, and maybe something real good will come from this adventure. Perhaps a go fund me page to help you out? Who can't use money? Advertising is the key, people need to see how you need help with these reptiles and maybe they can support you better?

Hi, have you seen Kojak the 440 pound pet croc in Indonesia that was raised as a pet from a baby, he's now in a zoo I believe, but he's a really big boy, you can check him out here on RUclips.
Lady, You should thank the Government for saving your ass. A croc for a pet...if he so tamed why feed him with tongs? Because you know if you don't you will lose your hands. I understand the attachment but get real. One day if you still had this dangerous-thing they would have found you dead and in pieces. These animals are wild and I'm glad that you weren't his next meal.
She feeds *HER* (croc is female) with tongs because the crocodile might *ACCIDENTALLY* bite her arm off, and she raised it as a baby, I understand what your trying to say but I’m just saying, crocodiles are not monsters and they aren’t out to kill because they feel like it, they are the most intelligent reptile and they have strong bonds with their owners, don’t believe me, look at Gatorland’s fully grown male Nile crocodile act like a puppy to that one guy, and see how the croc let her touch her, they aren’t monsters, that’s all I’m saying
I'm so happy that so many people are up to help you build the enclosure.

honestly, you should make a gofundme page get a bigger property for your crocs, It's hard to say goodbye to any animal especially an animal you've had for atleast 1/6 of your life (I'm just guessing your age I know its rude I'm sorry if I'm off)
Thank you Robert Wheeler, for your supportive comment......I've always dreamed of owning enough land to provide my crocs with appropriate housing etc. I will look into a gofundme page or something to help raise some funds to keep the animals I still have. And no need to apologize for guessing my age......I'm not at all offended :)

I will get around to posting more videos of my crocs in the near future.....thank you again for your support !! :)
Oh by the way, I just realized who you are & wanna say I love your vids....the few I've watched, that is......Pebbles makes me laugh so much and that's exactly what I need right now.....so a Big Thank You to you & Pebbles for making my day a brighter one :)

Thanks Eliza Hastie, for your comment. I'm doing okay but miss Jilly terribly..... i still cry thinking about her xx
Vicki Lowing I can imagine it’s like losing a child. Thinking about you! Thank you for your videos!
Eliza Hastie Thanks for your reply & yes, for me it is like losing a child. I adopted her when she was 3 years old & raised her for the following 11 years, slowly earning her trust in me & bonded with her. She would come to me whenever she felt hungry, frightened, hurt or just wanted company......just as a child would. Very few people can understand or relate to the bond I had with Jilly coz she’s a Crocodile. Thank you again for your lovely reply. xxx

You did good by this amazing and loving creature!
Now this broked my heart....
I have a pet pigeon, rescued on the street last year, that she chooses to stay with us, she was so sick I didn't thought she will make it...but she is in a perfect shape now... She is a wild bird now, but she is still coming home, twice at day and she is feeling so comfortable with us, she never forgot her home...
So I understand your pain, I can imagine what you are going through....
Just hope and pray that one day, when this harder and harder life on this Earth is over, we will all be together in the Father's house.. maybe not as...."humans and beasts" , but surely in a much better shape....
Sending blessings and love to you from Paris 🤗❤️🙋
Sorry about my English
Thank you very much for your lovely comment, God's child. I loved reading about the pigeon you saved.....I have saved many animals of different species here in Australia and they've all shown how grateful they are when I've re-released them back to the wild.......you can see it in their eyes ! As for Jilly, I raised her for over 10 years, from a 3 year old to 13 year old, so you can imagine the bond I had with her......it's nice to know some people, like yourself, can understand how broken hearted I am in having to give her up. It’s so unfair that poor Jilly is put through stress by being separated from you. I hope those wild life people can understand that you had full control of your crocs at all times. It’s not easy but let’s hope and pray things will work out for you and all your crocs. I just feel you’re a truly amazing lady. I hope everything works out. As an animal lover, I have lost many beloved pets like yourself, who have passed away over the years and it hurts so much, so I know what you're going through. You are so right in saying people don't understand the stress an animal goes through when separated from their owner, especially the wildlife officers who demanded I re-home Jilly......they have no idea of the stress they've caused Jilly and I......and nor do they care either.
I do not understand why Jillly had to leave. What did i miss???
So sorry 😥😥
You didn't miss anything Frances......I myself still don't understand why I was forced to re-home Jilly by the wildlife department......she was well looked after and securely enclosed here at my home. But what I do know, is that I had to move Jilly away from here for her own safety coz the wildlife dept have the power to confiscate animals & euthenase them for whatever reason they come up with.

Hi Vicki I love all of your crocs, and I was wondering what license you need to own one in WA Perth
Hi Mighty fine Reptiles, thanks for your comment. As for keeping crocs in WA, I'm afraid I don't know whether or not you're allowed to keep them. If I was you, I would give the Parks & Wildlife Service a call & ask them, okay :)
Vicki Lowing ok thanks
@@pbol9392 You're welcome !
Talk to Kyle at Primitive Predators. He could probably give advice on building a proper housing facility for Crocodylus porosus
She gave her croc away to the guy in the video because the government forced her to, he’s a very trained professional so he doesn’t need that
So it s against Australian law to keep a crocodile as a pet?
