He (Greg) is the one who ran in his house & told his son (Travis) to grab his shot gun and come quick - the guy is running down the street! Travis was driving while Greg sat on the back of a pickup truck with his shot gun as they chased this young man through their neighborhood - that's old school racism. Greg's words.... "We had him trapped like a rat". - He said that after Ahmad Arbrey was and laying on the ground still alive but bleeding out. Not one person tried to help him. Lindsay McMichael - daughter of Greg and sister to Travis - took a picture of Ahmad's dead body in the street and posted it on SnapChat - RACIST FAMILY!!!!! During the preliminary hearing Leigh McMichael - Greg's wife- got on the stand with the MOST AROGANT ATTITUDE IN THE WORLD... "they want their day in court to tell their side of the story"... is what she said. They have literally chased the young man down - shot and killed him - he showed no threat to them and they think that they are right. I live in Georgia about 2 hours from Brunswick. I literally drove to see this neighborhood that they were trying to protect. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got there... Nice neighborhood. but those lil houses look like doll houses compared to where I live. That matters because they have a whole facebook page trying to "protect" their neighborhood. Here's what should have happened. Travis McMichael should have gotten the death penalty, and it should have been immediately - so that Greg McMicheal could watch and know that this happened because he raised his family to be racist and ignorant. Greg got exactly what he deserved - life in prison As for Roddie - His is a classic case of you should have been minding your own business. He's just on his porch doing some type of improvement work - look up and see some white folks chasing this "N" and decided to join in. Used his truck to help "trap him like a rat" and made it possible for Travis to shoot and kill him. I'm fair... and in my opinion Roddie needs a new trial. If they made a movie out of this, Roddie's attorney should be played by Jim Carrey. LOL - I could have given him a better defense. I don't think he needs life in prison - 8 to 10 years would be fair because without his help, Ahmad would probably be alive. You should also know that the video was circulating through their neighborhood and because Ahmad's mother would not let the investigation go - she was calling everyone to get to the bottom of what actually happened to her son - very intelligent lady. Travis told one is his neighbors to release the video because he literally thought that it would show self defense because it showed Ahmad trying to take his gun away. Forget that you just chased him until he had no more energy - and he was trying to fight for his life - forget all of that, "he tried to take my gun away".
