Great video! My only variation was putting a pulley on the plow frame, running the winch cable through the pulley then hooked onto the top of the front bumper bars. Cuts the cable tension in half.
Don't miss the part where he puts a note that there are instructions, BUT THAT THEY AREN'T FOR THIS PLOW! I had to go back through to notice that. That means that Jamie has provided the only instructions for this particular plow. GREAT JOB JAMIE LIST!!
Getting mine tomorrow, looks pretty easy after watching this, thanks! I have an aluminum skid plate so I may just take it off.. just a yard machine and not a rock crawler so I’m not too concerned about it! Thanks again!
I just got this same plow. I haven't gotten around to installing it yet im still working on installing my winch. Im making my mounting plate so i dont have to buy one. Im almost got it done but between weather and working long hours its taking me a little longer than i meant for it to. It looks like the plow is going to be a lot easier the the winch. Thanks for the video i believe it will make installing this a lot easier.
I finally got mine on today and your video helped a lot. The only thing I saw where you messed up was the eye bolts don't go on the blade they go on the pivot and the springs go on the blade. Now with that being said it should work both ways but I looked at the directions because of how big them holes are and it didn't seem right. I'm surprised at how sturdy it seems to be for the cost. Anyway thanks again for the video it helps because the instructions kinda suck.
Nice video and helpful and fast. Other guys have had to trim some mount off to clear their tires too. You could always check out rear tire chains too, for better traction. Kimpex or Kolpin. Thanks for posting!
Jamie, Great Video ! Bought snow plow after watching your video of how Easy it is to assemble and install the snow plow on ATV ! Great Snow Plow ! I did a Internet search for a wear bar for plow and can't find any 48" wear bars that fit this plow . Do you have any info on where to get wear bar ? Thanks ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless ! @@jlistdiy Thanks for the message ! I just like to have a spare. I owned a Cycle Country for 29 yrs . and went through quit a few wear bars in that time . I watched your video and ordered one and got it in 2 days . The mounts for the Cycle Country were the same spacing and didn't have to put KUAFA mounts on ! The wear bar hole spacing is totally different ! Keep the Great Video's Coming ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless !
question. I think there is a mount already installed underneath my quad. approximately what is the measurement of the space between the ears that hold the A frame connected by the bolt and cotter pin?
Why do I have some hardware left over? I also noticed you didn’t use either. I’m referring to the pieces shown on table at 1:04 in the video. The 4 black plates and the spacers to the left of them. Thanks
I'm still very happy with it and did a fantastic job on the wet heavy snow we had the other day and I don't think it would ever bend or break it is all around a very solid built plow.
Was there some type of suggestion measurement in the instructions of how far forward the plow should set in front of your bumper? I understand that there needs to be sufficient room to tilt the blade full left or full right without it hitting your tires. But it looks to me your plow is maybe 3" farther forward than it needs to be, would you agree? The winch instead of pulling it straight up is pulling it backwards a little bit. My concern is that may cause extra stress on the plow framework. Maybe this is a non-issue and I'm overthinking it??? Just looking for your opinion before I mount mine up. Mine came with no instructions whatsoever.
@@jlistdiy thank you for replying! I'm hoping to start and finish mine tomorrow. 🤞 Do you think I should position the plow where the winchline will hang almost strait down and then match & mount the mounting plates accordingly ?
Love the quality and speed of this vid. No wasted time and really shows install. Good job.
Thank you

Awesome video! Was just looking at this plow on Amazon lastnight,
How has it been holding up? Any weak points or cutting edge wearing rather fast?
It's been holding up fantastic I have not had any issues with it wearing at all and it's built extremely well
@jlistdiy just ordered one, your video here is going to make the install a breeze, thanks!

it is a universal plow so their is extra hardware for different quads
Are you still happy with this plow? Do you feel like it is heavy enough to plow through heavy snow or ice? Any concerns that it will bend or break?
