I'm in my 30s now and Sum 41 was my favourite band for probably a decade. First concert I ever went to as well! I used to rewatch their metallica medley appearance on MTV and the judas priest/tommy lee medley, walk this way. It used to get me SO PUMPED.

I always liked Sum 41, but I hadn't really dug in until recently. I didn't reaize Deryck wrote so much of the music itself, and it's all so great. The new double album is super good, and so I just felt like commenting to say how much I've come to respect these guys!

I just heard the news about Sum 41's disband and it pains me in the gut, I grew up with this band since I discover them watching that insane scene of Reese driving in Malcom in the Middle when I was 10 years old. then I turned 14 and I was hearing Chuck all day long because I felt like an outsider in my school, these guys made the soundtrack of my childhood/teenage years. God bless Sum 41!

I always felt like Greig Nori latched onto Sum 41 but didn't have their best interest in mind. The songs are great, maybe one day they can remaster some of the original albums he produced to go in-line with Deryck's vision? It's great to see he's back on track with his life, as a Canadian I've always loved Sum 41.
I was about 12 when they took off - they were in rotation with Much Music all the time and it was neat. When they used to do the Much Music lives where the bands would go to the Music studios building and do a live and personal song and storytelling sort of show I remember I watched it over and over again.
