jdmikeg4 no its mostly that the age of average riders is going up and most of them are buying sport classics and commuter adv bikes, comfortable practicle things
Bought zx10r 2012 with abs couple of months ago and on the road is just insane. Had an 08 r1 prior and that thing was so scary because the lack of electronics. But my ninja has saved me so many times and feels so damn safe its crazy.
I have a 2017 Kawasaki ZX10R ABS in white and I think it's the best value for money for what you get and the bike is gives you tremendous performance and confidence !
Beautiful piece of kit. In that matte black it looks superb. The performance wow 197bhp, what more do you need? I couldn't utilise that power in the dry on the roads. The Akra makes it sound fantastic. If your a sportsbike man or woman, we'd all have one right? Yep sold.
I'm confused. You said the ABS has been ripped out? Are you referring to the factory zx-10rr? I saw the following in the Kawasaki website: Kawasaki’s supersport-grade high-precision brake management system, uses high-precision control to regulate brake pressure during sport riding. KIBS is a multi-sensing system, using the input from numerous sources. In addition to front and rear wheel speed sensors (standard for any ABS system), KIBS also monitors front caliper hydraulic pressure and various information from the engine ECU (throttle position, engine speed, clutch actuation and gear position).
Problem with a track bike like this, in Australia anyway, is insurance does not cover you on the track. This is one expensive bike to be riding on a track without insurance. Looks very nice though and I'm sure is great to ride.
Thanks for the informative vid, MCN. The new RR looks impressive, but I'm not enough of a track fiend to take advantage of all the improvements, so I'll satisfy myself with slapping on those new Marchesini wheels on my 2016 KRT ZX-10R which I've had the pleasure of riding for almost a year now . Cheers
Got my RR last weekend. Gotta say it's bloody awesome. What an incredible bike! Loved my 10R, love this just a wee bit more. Now I'm off to ride the hell out of it. Cheers!
zxcurve that's just not true. there's a ton a people getting around 185 stock. And with a power commander and full exhaust around 199. again those numbers don't matter unless you have a baseline done on that dyno the same day. stock numbers alone from a dyno vary so much from day to day, bike to bike, and dyno to dyno. making them meaningless
Interesting saying crank hp 197 and wheel hp 192. Is it because its an RR model and you don't get the 10% pumping losses between crank and wheel that was the old formula ?
How does thing manage to dominate wsbk ? It doesn't have the trick ohlins suspension seen across the board. It has mediocre rear brakes and it doesn't make a lot of power and it isn't particularly light either. How is Kawasaki doing it ?
It looks sharp & stable on the brakes - one thing, can you not order one with Kawasaki kit race cams already fitted ? seems that would be logical and more desirable ?
Yes, the difference is that ZX10RR have stock, and ZX10R you must buy additionaly. Like my page facebook.com/jasamnedostizanZ800/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel
I have one with the evo akrapovic exhaust flashed ecu, and power commander. Dyno is only 180 hp. If his bike is getting 197 hp it has to be a race tune. If anyone else has an answer to this let me know.
Unless your on a track in a real race about 135 HP is all a good rider needs. After that you may be moving faster but basically doing the same thing or holding the bike back. My point is save money and buy used bikes of the past 20 years. Pay it off and buy another bike in another category like adventure. Take vacations on them, meet new people, and stay safe. I forgot 1 point, go to the track and support motorcycle racing before tracks are empty like they are now in the USA. The 1990s tracks were crowded now since sport bike and insurance so high the youth are priced out of the sport
tatuksa they aren't shit. For the road bike they dull down the master cylinder so newbs don't wash out the front end. If you change the MC to RCS19. The breaks are epic! I have a 2016 KRT Winter Edition and it's sensational!
The Ducati 1299 has 205hp at the crank and always seems to dyno at the rear wheel at about 174ish...I honestly dont see this bike getting a dyno at rear wheel above 180hp.
Chris Martin I have one, I got the ecu flashed and a power commander before getting it dyno tuned and it now gets 180 hp on the dyno. But I ride on the street mainly. A race tune would give it more hp on the dyno I think that’s what he is talking about.
My thoughts too. I like my R1 but I recently checked out a zx10 and it was so much more comfortable to me than my R1. I started out riding Kawasaki then went to Yamaha. I think it's time to come back home to Kawasaki.
I just brought 2018 R1 but sadly I am having problem with this new look I still have my old 2007 R1 TOO may be I just me I like old body style better Muffler under the seat look much sexier now I selling my new 2018 R1 JUST AFTER 3 weeks and ride is not that comfortable
rui castro 2013 wsbk-Champion Kawasaki. 2014 wsbk-2nd Kawasaki 2015 wsbk-Champion Kawasaki and 3rd Kawasaki. 2016 wsbk-Chanpion Kawasaki 2nd Kawasaki. What the fuck are you talking about? All while bmw barely cracked top 5. Why don't you actually look up something first.
Great vid guys, I have a standard ZX10R is it that much different? Is it worth the extra for a road rider? For the kind of money you pay id expect a better exhaust? I just fitted a new exhaust to mine and had to have it fully remapped annoyingly sounds alot better though, tell me what you guys think? ruclips.net/video/LpHsj1vE6K4/видео.html
neevesybikes well not in the U.S. I know you have a slightly different measure of horsepower (PS) but it shouldn't be this far off. I know the bikes are tuned differently as well. still kawis here are putting down about 170 to the rear wheel
Turtle 1000 yeah thx but have a riding buddy that did it and hasn't notice a big difference. he still gets wobbles. I probably will get the manual ohlins.
People like you act like everything is supposed to be handed to you, all the high technology , labor and time put into building the machines and you are complaining about a bike that is actually very affordable lol
adamutuber good idea. eventually that way every single channel with good production quality will disappear. do you think RUclips channels exist solely to entertain you? if they don't get paid they will disappear. then we cam all just watch homemade cat videos. sounds great. morons
If you're not buying this bike for racing, then yes it's meaningless and getting the "regular" one is better, but to me neither have meaning for street riding.
First off this bike is made in super limited numbers that's the first hit against it, second why only offer QS for up & down only in the RR. Next, this bike does not have heated grips or cruise control so no thank you!
Good times for superbikes. All of them are insane, there's no clear best or worst they're all outstanding machines.
Belén Esteban True. All of them are awesome...but we all know the BMW is the best one! =p
Yet they arnt selling :(
felix crab because we cant afford one?

Best commentator on the internet full stop. Well done.
To the point and explains the exact differences to the standard 10r. Nice work!
This guy imo is the best bike reviewer on the net. No BS just plain facts and opinions.

Out of all the current superbikes, the ZX10 has the most exciting exhaust note bar none.
I have a 2017 Kawasaki ZX10R ABS in white and I think it's the best value for money for what you get and the bike is gives you tremendous performance and confidence !
is the polar white a gloss finish ?,looking for one
@@paulcarroll4003 It's more of a mat finish , I have a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 100O SX now , I've traded in the zx 10.
Good work Michael
The manufacturers are really going at it with these specials !
The best thing about this bike is the paint scheme. It's to die for.
Beautiful piece of kit. In that matte black it looks superb.
The performance wow 197bhp, what more do you need? I couldn't utilise that power in the dry on the roads. The Akra makes it sound fantastic. If your a sportsbike man or woman, we'd all have one right?

My favorite bike ever!
Damn near my perfect bike! So dope...
Near? That's perfect in my book ;)
jesus that traction control sounds awesome...!
Yeah that's that sort of popping sound at accellerating or decellerating right? That way as a feedback indicator?
I'm confused. You said the ABS has been ripped out? Are you referring to the factory zx-10rr? I saw the following in the Kawasaki website:

Thanks for the vid, Neevesey!
I prefer the snarl this makes over the R1. Sorry Yamaha, love your machines but this....
Are you going to buy one anyway? If not, then yamaha doesn’t care 👍
I wish a bike like that superb
Damn! I'm I the only one here that's absolutely terrified at the onboard camera footage?! Damn son! That thing goes man!!!

It is said to make 212 hp at high speeds due to the ram air intakes
what is the difference between zx10rr winter edition and a zx10rr (green)??
Beautiful video

Scott Neale
No.
Guys states it comes with no ABS I just purchased one in EU and it comes with ABS. Needs the race kit to disable ABS.
What wheels are standard on these superbikes?
...... Sorry did you say rubber brake lines in place of the steel brake lines?....... Am I missing something?
can you guys do a review on benelli tnt series?

You can, its ZX10R
?? The ZX10RR comes with a modified cylinder head to accept race cams but does not come with them as standard - I don't understand your reply ??
ZX10RR comes with modified cylinder head and crankcases. Now? :)

Hey, that's Rennie!
Mr. Neevesy why is the break feels spongy whie zx10r uses brembo equipment for the whole breaking systme?
Maybe all Brembos aren't made the same...
thankx for the replay
They make shit Brembo's for bragging rights and bike sales! Ohlins (Showlins) also have inferior parts for standard fitment!

Brandon Sears I think since it is a race bike that they removed the whole ignition system and crank it like a track only bike
The power of "K"...logo....
Heavenly noise so so bike
That exhaust and exhaust bracket just don't look right. A shorter exhaust down low would make thise bike look even better.

197 crank, 192 wheel? WTF did you just say??
lol right? MCN doesn't know what they're talking about...
Yep, Kawasaki claims 197bhp at the crank. On our dyno they make around 192bhp at the rear wheel. Cheers. Neevesy
neevesybikes well not in the U.S. I know you have a slightly different measure of horsepower (PS) but it shouldn't be this far off. I know the bikes are tuned differently as well. still kawis here are putting down about 170 to the rear wheel

i'm being optimistic too. it's just under 170 on most dyno's

so is the steering damper still a non-existent piece of shit? it is on mine.....
Get the ohlins race scu

this bike needs carbon fairings, slicks and toll to tracks otherwise it'll only be another pub bragging machine
carbon fairings are a complete waste of money. Zero to minimal weight savings at best. Almost a purely aesthetic thing to have
