The big question is this controller or PS5 Dual Sense Edge. I find the PS5 controller hurts my hand, I don't have big hands so I'm leaning towards this one. But thinking might be silly not to buy the official PS5 gaming controller. Thoughts?
I’m in the same boat. I’ll buy this in a heartbeat if it’s more comfortable. I can’t play a shooter longer than an hour on a dualsense massive hand strain. 1st time a controller has ever done that for me and there’s literally no 3rd party alternatives for PS5 games 😊
Looks like a nice controller and probably the best buy for a pro controller for ps5 right now but I got sick of all the delays. I cancelled my order and got the razer. It's definitely overpriced but it's pretty nice controller. It's not quite as comfortable as an elite 2 but it's close. The back buttons are awkward but I'm getting used to them. I was having some lag issues but my dongle was on the back of my ps5 which they don't recommend. Moved it to the front and no issues anymore. Good build quality and so far I'm pretty happy with it. The price is definitely excessive tho. All pro controllers are tho.
@vgezzliyYT It was in wireless PS5 mode. I had it plugged in on the back of the console. I moved it to the front of the console and it worked. And since it was sticking out awkwardly, it eventually broke when my cat ran by. I hoped to buy a new dongle, but Victrix doesn't sell replacement parts. Luckily I had bought a protection plan when I bought the controller. So I got a whole new controller. But the new controller has a battery issue. 😑 Still worth it for the dpad though.
Just got mine, but it won’t connect wirelessly to my PS5 with the dongle. It works connected with the cable but not wirelessly. Is there a fix for it or anything?

I just received an e-mail they're back in stock, but what's withholding me from buying is that nowhere I can find whether the PC software allows you to map buttons on the controller to buttons on your keyboard. My use case is that I want to map the extra buttons on the back to eg. a number on my numpad that can then trigger a macro (like transitioning to another scene in OBS by the press of a button on the back of the controller). I usually need all the buttons and triggers on the controller for the game itself so I can't use any of those. Been using an eSwap X Pro for the more competitive PC gaming session which has similar functionality to the BFG but its software only allows the M1-4 buttons on its back to be mapped to another button/trigger on the controller unfortunately. I am hoping the BFG allows mapping to keyboard keys since there's a switch to put it in "PC mode", but with its price tag I need to be certain before I buy. :D

Considering that I am looking for a ps5 pro controller and for now the Victrix pro BFG seems to be the best option. My only question is how much is the dead zone of analogue sticks as default? Playing at competitive FPS this feature is really significant for me. It should be awesome if you make a short where you explain as good is its dead zone on Apex Legends or others FPS. Thanks again 🙏

The reason people get lost for if it works on ps5, is because all other controllers only play ps4 games on the ps5, so they get lost in the sauce lol. I bought this, i love it, even more than the xbox pdp i bought.

Pity it lacks the hall sensors but at least there is no latency. Lately third party controllers seem to just not work properly in this regard...

I found your channel relatively pretty late, as this controller is /was on my 2023 to buy immediately list, and your review a while back was really informative on this controller !I am as well as many others, disappointed that there is no rumble feature..You can always enable rumble on or off in the game settings, so the obvious statement /excuse not to have a feature long predating feature that almost any other previous controller of every company implemented this and the previous decade, is actually a cost reduction and not a "hardcore" characteristic of a pro controller.. I would not say that you cant live without it, but why not including this feature that is actually is helpful in many games like, shooters or racing games, as part of the immersion to an extend..I also have the Victrix gambit and is still my go to controller for XBOX and pc! All i longed for was a similar experience for my playstation 5, that I could actually use on my pc as well, and not using my Gambit from console to pc and vice versa..Now I am a bit baffled and not actually certain that I will buy this controller as soon as I wanted..I can only hope that PDP announces a rumbled version as well in the near future! Keep on the great work Kasanova!!
Well, tbf, the question regarding "Does it work on PS5?" is pretty valid, since Sony decided to block any non-DS5 pad for the PS5 versions of their games on PS5. Even games, formerly launched on PS4 and receiving resp. PS5 Updates like Ghost of Tsushima, force you to use the regular DS5, if you go for the next-gen version of the game. No wonder everyone is confused.
I really need buy controller 🎮 with 6 buttons layout to prepare for sf6 but I was looking at hori controller then saw this. Even this more expensive but it great if u can just buy parts separate. Because fighting games required lots of clicks . Anyone know when they say if parts will be sold separately

Playstation dpad works pretty good but the only issue with any dpad, its underneath, ruber will wear out unless it uses micro-switches. I would say it comes to own preference, some players do prefer playstation shape dpad and others xbox dpad... So there is no good dpad out there, i hope dpad on Pro BFG will last longer

It HAS to be connected via the 2.4GHz dongle that is included inside the box of the controller you pay for. The standard DualSense controller that comes with the PS5 console is connected via Bluetooth not by a dongle.
is it smaller than the PS5 controller? the back side of the Dual Sense feels too big and uncomfortable for long gaming sessions. This is especially true for people with smaller hands.
I preorded this controller and after atleast 2 delays, I cancelled and ordered the Razor PS5 controller which I returned because it did not have vibration or haptic feedback. From what I understand this controller doesn't have vibration either, so I pre-ordered Sony's DE $199 controller.
Right but this has been marketed and says on the box and on their website and store websites as “made for PS5”. I don’t get how much more clearer it needs to be

The PS5 questions are because of the proprietary bs sony does, which Microsoft just started doing also only allowing "official" (money given to them to get the stamp of approval) to work with PS5 games. For example, I have a custom controller for my messed up hands and the PS5 recognizes it, can use it for the navigation and PS4 games all day long and it's fully recognized but when you launch a PS5 they give you a notice saying to not be poor and go buy a PS5 controller instead :( Which is why I'm looking at these. So basically they can all claim PS5, but only official ones work for the games so Sony gets their cut. Extending my fingers is pretty painful to me so its a extra disabled tax to have what my other controller does already but Sony wrote code specifically to not allow. :/

My bfg controller wont connect to my ps5. Even with cable. Does it need to be charged?
use the provided dongle/ and check what mode u have it in. wireless/wired and adjust based on that

I think it’s been delayed because Sony wants the Edge to come out first! They probably fear this most out of the licensed controllers coming out.

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to get the touch pad to work on Steam Deck as a trackpad. I wish it would work tho

They are magnetic sensors that mean your controllers will never have stick drift ever. Only a few controllers currently have it

You just put the console selector to PS5 and then press and hold the touchpad area or PS Home button and then it should connect.

You can do wired or wireless on PS5, PS4, or PC. And yeah the delay is really odd and it is possible that Sony has a hand in it being delayed again

I preorded this controller and after atleast 2 delays, I cancelled and ordered the Razor PS5 controller which I returned because it did not have vibration or haptic feedback. From what I understand this controller doesn't have vibration either, so I pre-ordered Sony's DE $199 controller.
Tough luck cuz u only get 2 back buttons instead of 4 with that which is the whole purpose of a pro controller
@@randomgamer19170 I am fine with that. The back buttons are not the main reason I buy Pro controllers, so to each his or her own.
The reason why people ask the PS5 question is because of Sony locking out PS4 controllers for PS5 games
Right but this has been marketed and says on the box and on their website and store websites as “made for PS5”. I don’t get how much more clearer it needs to be

But lots of people bought PS4 arcade sticks in the past experienced being locked out of the PS5 versions just don't trust Sony with their arbitrary decisions to lock out PS4 sticks/pads

The PS5 questions are because of the proprietary bs sony does, which Microsoft just started doing also only allowing "official" (money given to them to get the stamp of approval) to work with PS5 games. For example, I have a custom controller for my messed up hands and the PS5 recognizes it, can use it for the navigation and PS4 games all day long and it's fully recognized but when you launch a PS5 they give you a notice saying to not be poor and go buy a PS5 controller instead :( Which is why I'm looking at these. So basically they can all claim PS5, but only official ones work for the games so Sony gets their cut. Extending my fingers is pretty painful to me so its a extra disabled tax to have what my other controller does already but Sony wrote code specifically to not allow. :/
