    I’ve used both the carbon pro G and the bio powder. Seen great results out of both. They seem to work better in different yards. Not really sure if it has to do with the type of grass or soil. I mixed the bio powder from mirimichi with a product called “cytogrow hormone biostimulant” and saw really good green up.

    Great video and cant waite to see the results. With the nitrogen being in that product you have to remember it is such a small amount and you would have to apply to much to get any nitrogen valve from the product. It is manly there just to help the plant take up the other things in the product.

    Hey Ron! I purchased the liquid carbon kit from the golf course lawn store, and I am super excited!. I have a smaller lawn, under a thousand square feet. I want to use the Biospxtrum without wasting it. It came with 4 capsules, and I want to weigh it out on a scale. Are the specs 4.4 grams per thousand still? I have a cool season lawn, and I will be growing Barenburg RPRG. I just want to know what the recommendations are for Biospxtrum in dry form. Thanks!

      Heya Nathan. I wouldn't be worried about wasting it. If you use one capsule each time you apply the carbon kit, it'll be use fine. You're not going to hurt anything. Appreciate the support sir. Let me know if you need anything else.

    Unless something is not visible in the video, my question is: "Is it even possible for your lawn to get any greener?" What are you comparing your lawn to? How dark will Arden 15 get? What are your soil test results? I am just amazed at how perfect your lawn looks in the video, so I was just wondering.

    • @RonHenry
      @RonHenry  4 года назад +2

      Hi Mind Business. I'm not sure how much darker green it can get. It does look pretty good right now but I figure if I can further improve the soil, it will look even better. I'd like it to look like the fairways at Augusta national. Big goals. :-)

      @@RonHenry If you start running out of things to do, you can take on my lawn as a project (I'm in NC). I will be attempting to get rid of all the fescue, other grasses, and weeds once my bermuda (which is about 60-65% of my lawn) goes dormant. I really pushed the bermuda this year as learned more and more about how it thrives.
      My lawn has improved drastically over the growing season. It didn't help that I was actually considered going with fescue early in the year and laid a lot of turf-type fescue seed. Nonetheless, the bermuda arrived and started responding to many of the suggested treatments. If you have suggestions about getting rid of fescue and other cool season grasses please share.

    • @RonHenry
      @RonHenry  4 года назад +1

      @@mindbusiness9734 if you want to go the herbicide route (i.e. glysophate) you'll want to use it when the Bermuda is dormant. It has to be COMPLETELY dormant so that you lessen the chance of damaging it. Granted if you kill the Fescue during the winter, you'll still have to wait until next year for the spots to fill in when the Bermuda starts growing again in the spring. Best time to attack cool season grass broadly is when the Bermuda is gone to bed during winter months. Hope this helps. :-)

However I'm trying to capture that deep deep dark rich green color. I'm waiting on the release of your video to witness your results. If successful, I will be purchasing the products as well. They’re the makers of Hydratain and their product I’m using is Multi Purpose Plus (4-0-2) plus Iron and Bio-Stimulants. • @RonHenry
      @RonHenry  4 года назад +1

      @@FrankieKennethL it's good for closing out the season. It's a very slow release product so as far as a product to put the lawn to bed as it goes dormant it's a decent options. To your point, there are better choices that are more cost effective though.

    • @FrankieKennethL
      @FrankieKennethL 4 года назад +1

      Ron Henry my main problem with it is the NPK mix. I need a balanced fertilizer that gives me as equal parts N to K. And I don’t need the P. My soul here is high on phosphorus already and I’m always supplementing Potassium. Can’t hold my levels high. So Milo is not very helpful.

    • @RonHenry
      @RonHenry  4 года назад

      Frankie Kenneth I hear you on that. In your case Milo definitely isn’t a fit. I might need to think recommending it so heavily. A big advantage for Milo is that it’s relatively easy to use and not burn your lawn with. For those new to hone lawn care, it’s a good option. Obviously that’s not you. 😎
