on the topic of mirroring others, i am autistic and i realized that i used mirroring and mimicking to make up all my masks and scripts. like if i begin to spend time with you i will mirror you (it explained why people liked me easily in school and stuff). i remember one of the first times i realized that i was doing this it was when i began to watch Hannah Montana on disney and about a week later my brother snapped at me to stop trying to be her.
I find myself doing this with books too. Like, if a character I connect with speaks in a way that itches my brain I end up picking up their speech patterns and stuff for awhile afterwards.
I’m reading A Strange and Stubborn endurance rn and I essentially have the character Velasin living in my head cause I just think and speak in the way he speaks 😩
i do this as well! neurotypical people simply just dont get it, and they think you're doing it just to be rude or offensive. it also kind of causes you to lack an identity (at least, in my case it does) and makes you feel like you're missing a part of you. maybe thats just me though.

I didn't used to feel this before but for some years now i have been losing my scripts and masks (i guess because i was not using them as much so i forgot like people forget how to speak a language they learnt) and it's seriously shocking the way there is nothing behind the masks i used. i don't know who i am at all. it's almost feels like being an alien trying to fit in with humans. and worst of all, forgetting how to behave with people leads to anxiety and even less interactions.

Your chemistry, the tangents that are just as interesting as the intended topic, and the genuine passion in each episode are so perfectly formatted by both of yours natural talent/charisma. The biggest difference is the sheer amount of times Sarah is in heat
I work writing natural language processing bots for various industries (currently just for gaming, but I was doing stuff for security and tech support before.) I’m always charmed by how polite some people are to things that they clearly understand to be a robot. Like, people will say “thank you” or gush about how relieved they are to have their problem fixed. It gives me hope for humanity, honestly.

As a person from Easter Europe, Chernobyl was really scary. In Ukraine they saw the explosion and they knew something is happening, but for example in Bulgaria 2 days after the explosion there was manifestation on the streets for some communistic holiday, whatever, and it was raining heavily and no government said the truth what is going on and they were showering in radioactive rain. All that horror and now we all joke about some stuff calling them Ooo like Chernobyl, because humour will win over everything

One thing I find interesting: So Brittany and Sarah are both very open people who are genuinely caring. In a few recent episodes, Sarah advertised for a mobile game. I could hear in her voice the discomfort she had, I could hear that she didn't want to do it. Why then did she? Because girl's gotta eat. I imagine (I obviously can't know this) that she was uncomfortable advertising this game that is very much a cash grab and doesn't do much to help society.
Maybe in some way she felt she was compromising her values by doing it. But the good thing about having an emotionally intelligent audience: I can hear past your words, I can pontificate the reasons why people do the things they do. I can see past some of the facade usually. I wanted to say don't feel bad Sarah, survival is what we all must do, one day you will be in a place to choose your own advertisers, and the genuineness you both bring to the table is what will lead you there.
