In the end clash Gohan has Brolys fist in his hand and his other hand on his shoulder clearly showing that he had the upper hand in their fight, Gohan has more power amping techniques like the super Kamehameha and the special Beam canon we have no confrimed moves for Broly on this level so technique wise I give it to Gohan.
Gohan has the ability to Boost his power by snapping and raising his KI which we didn't see him do against Broly so I presume he can do it and have an even greater edge than he has
Although the fight was short, Gohan clearly had the upper hand on him so uninterrupted, and after watching his fight with Goku, Gohan takes it. Gohan is a menace right now with better control over it than broly. Losing control isn't enough for broly anymore.
Broly without a doubt. Super saiyan under his control is like when he faced Vegeta for the first time. Up until Vegeta went ssg, he was adapting, growing without rage and breaking through Vegeta’s guard. Now with his rage under control, he can grow at his own pace and should things get fierce, I think he can tap into full power without losing himself now that he’s grown to acknowledge greater levels of power.
Goku didn’t use all his techniques in the battle. Neither did Gohan. This was just a scrimmage

You guys just can't accept the fact that at this point gohan has surpassed goku and vegeta both . He literally knocked goku out of his UI form . HIS attack power is greater than UI and his speed is also greater than evasive speed of Ui ,as told by vegeta .Legend Toriyama himself said about gohan beast to be the strongest form yet and if you google about it gohan is ranked above goku and vegeta now . Lmao, this is still not 100% confirmed, there is a big issue in this chapter. Vegeta went in on Gohan and used SSB against Gohan and by the end of the chapter, they were all tired out.
Gohan did powerup and surprise Goku by knocking him out, which is a feat of greater raw power at the time of the clash. We just don't know if Goku was going all out at the time, when Broly is spectating, Goku just looks to the side while clashing with a powered up Gohan and does a little stun move to then stop the fight and allow Broly to get some shine with Gohan. We know MUI adapts during a fight, so even if Gohan managed to become faster by 0.5% to hit Goku, MUI will adapt to that speed and make Goku react faster.
We seriously do not know how far Goku went here. We know he can be stronger than this...
Anyways, what matters in the end is that all of these characters are within the same tier of power, Piccolo is within the same tier but way behind. They were all testing each other, Piccolo was left out for obvious reasons. He has massive KI now too, but he does not compare to Broly, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku.
This works out for me in the end, i'm more of a Vegeta fan, don't really like Goku, so seeing SSB Vegeta go at Beast Gohan, is just laughable because Vegeta is not taking him serious even after watching all that. A drawing mistake of this magnitude does not make sense to me, UE has no eyebrows and a darker tint, unless toyotaro completely forgot about UE here and went with SSBE or something.

Good video. They were both sparring and holding back to a degree. Goku has much more mastery over his form than Beast Gohan and more experience combined with auto reflexes, but Gohan has more raw power and speed than Goku which kept things relatively even. Anyone claiming one character dominates the other is meatriding.
I disagree on the speed part.Gohan is stronger but is not faster then goku.Goku after he went back in mui proceed to fight this newly powered up Gohan that is stronger and faster then he previously was in the fight and proceed to dodge and block his attacks while looking at broly.This feat would be impossible unless he had better speed and reaction speed.

It was just a way to see what they were capable of. The fact that Gohan was even able to pull that off just showed he was stronger than we initially realized.

Gohan at full power surpasses UI Goku's power to the point to where Gohan's speed eclipses the dodging hax of UI. All Gohan needs to do now is master the Beast form the same way he did SS

we don't see this in a boxing match because this is a SPARRING MATCH, a friendly practice session by definition; Goku was not fighting to win whereas Gohan had to exert himself at full power

It also looks like they going down the same path of Gohan needing some type of motivation (to get really angry) to tap into his Full power like in the cell games or early buu saga. And we all know by now this is a sparring session and Gohan isn’t getting angry at his father/friends. He can only use that power in bursts without losing control

Took you long enough to make to release this one but this is straight your opinion, because Gohan is confirmed to have gone full power when he landed that solid punch, Goku was never confirmed to be at full power in this entire match. When Gohan punch it, it is shown in illustrations that he was burning through his ki to be momentarily faster than the level of speed Goku was using when Goku said “ouch what the heck was that” means that Goku wasn’t expecting Gohan raise his power that to a point if he blocked it knock out base, Goku continued to dodge in later meaning “he either adapted to Gohan’s speed or either amped up his speed to be able to dodge again, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to dodge, which supports the he simply wasn’t at full power when Gohan launched that solid punch. Goku is simply surprised Gohan was able to do that, which is why we have Gohan explaining to him what he to get to his maximum power, if the Gohan is raw power it is definitely not by much because Goku in the end of their match is still able to plush him with pressure blast ? We know in DB if you open is significantly stronger than they’d be walking right through your full ki blast, you used Gas not being able to knock Goku out of his UI to support your argument, I’m also going to use him support the point that if stronger by significant margin, you walk through your opponent’s ki blast which by the is the strongest attack these characters have, he walk through the combined power of beams when he was Zombie Gas and yet Gohan was simply pushed back with a simple kiai, think about all the time the kiai is being used in DB, it only when your opponent is inferior to the user of the technique, now I’m saying Gohan is weaker by any means, I’m simply stating the difference in raw is not as great you make it, further supporting the idea and Goku simply wasn’t expecting that much power when Goku landed that punch, it far exceeded the amount of power he was using that time, that’s why it knocked him out of his form. The only reason this existed is either because you only look at that point in time, at that punch specifically, and ignored the dialogue that indicates Goku was surprised by the level of power Gohan demonstrated or it exists just to cover up your previous videos where you said Gohan one shotted MUI which is understandable because the translated dialogue wasn’t out by then, so we only relied on what we saw back then, but when looking at whole chapter, there’s no way this video is valid, honestly.
I like the direction they’re heading with the powerscaling. It makes it so multiple characters can still be within the same realm of “strength”, while still being superior to each other in different areas.
They all didn't need to be in the same realm of strength. So what are we going to have now a villain who can tackle all of these guys at the exact same time?
Is that what you guys really want before? With people being definitively weaker they could have designed villains specifically for these characters. There was absolutely a way to keep Goku and Vegeta doing their own thing while broly and the others got their own share of villains, but that would require some actual talent for making good villains to fit the different characters.
Now what we have is a bunch of people all sitting at the Apex of power while some of them is just wishing for power. Others are magically getting this strong in secret training and others are just born that way, meanwhile, the villains aren't getting much better. Better, in fact the same way to defeat a villain now is the exact same way to a villain as before.
These guys should have stayed definitively weaker and the fandom should be asking for compelling villains to fight these folks at their power levels. Not bringing everyone up to some crazy Apex of power level through weak ass means just so we can have the same old crap happen over and over again
@@MajeedBelleYou're complaining as if the current formula of "everybody watches helplessly as goku saves the day" isn't horrifically stale or somehow worse than this odd hypothetical you're worried about. Competition between main characters is a good thing. Just look at how much conversation it's drummed up for the series, yet you want it to stay as Goku just being this infallible messiah that is forever and always above his friends? With Vegeta basically just existing to be his hype man?
@@broom673 all of it is stale but one of the biggest issues the series has had since the middle of the Namek Saga but really the introduction of the zenkai boost is how the cast gains power.
I'm not saying they need to have training montages every time these guys need to get stronger. I think we can all agree that for the most part all of these guys do some kind of training to keep themselves at least in shape and somewhat relevant. That works out perfectly fine in my mind. The issues I have with this is when you have two people like Goku and Vegeta who are not only doing some very serious training but are also out there battling people. There should be a sizable gap between these two and everyone else.
So instead of trying to keep everyone in the same ballpark, I believe it would be much easier and frankly better to simply design villains around the characters power levels. We know piccolo trains. We are somewhat pretty sure that Gohan does some training too. The question is, does their training ever really help them close the gap? Naturally I don't think so. So instead of saying oh I got a power boost off screen doing some mediocre training or I made a wish upon a star, these characters can continue to do what they are doing in good faith that they are training but then just introduce somebody to meet them at their level. The universe is a big place. I'm sure if someone were to make a little bit of effort they can find reasons for our week of characters to come across a dangerous person that's on their level, maybe slightly weaker or even maybe slightly stronger that they have to overcome.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this chapter: as stated by Vegeta, no one won this fight with Goku stating after that he was testing Gohan whereas Gohan did not state he was testing Goku. Those are the facts.

Gonna be real. I absolutely think Goku would be the one on the ground if he and Gohan went at it for keeps. Goku and Vegeta have hit their ceilings already, whereas Gohan has not. Their ability to grow through battle is now much more limited than it once was, but we're given to believe Gohan's remains fully functional. In other words, he's far from his ceiling. The saiyan abilities of rapid adaptation and power growth through battle should still be fully functional for him. Even accounting for Ultra Instinct increasing the user's abilities the longer they remain in it, it's doubtful Goku could remain in this state for a prolonged battle against an opponent who has so much more power than he does.
At any rate, had this been a fight to the death, Goku would've been dead the second Gohan knocked him out of UI. The window of opportunity to end him was right there.

I love one hit from Gohan was able to send Goku back into his base form and made the same effects to Goku just as black Frieza did, and Goku a does a full combo on Gohan it doesn't even damage his clothes or scratch him and Goku pushing Gohan with a Kai blast doesn't mean Goku is stronger as Supreme Kai does this to fat buu and yet he was still stronger than Supreme Kai. Goku wasn't trying to beat gohan, only wanted to test his strenght and he didn't use any of his techniques. Yet what goku was able to do against a full power beast gohan is land more clean hits to gohan's only one clean hit, blitzed gohan from a distance but when gohan tried to do the same he failed, sent gohan flying with one hand without touching him which is something gohan couldn't do to goku, match gohan while not looking at him and focusing on broly which is something else gohan didn't do.
The only thing gohan did which didn't really do or mean anything was knock goku out of ui after being at full power, charging up a massive amount of ki and almost going berserk but was able to control himself. So gohan at full power then gathering a massive amount of ki and using a controlled rage boost on top of that could only land one solid hit on goku that didn't do anything to him and gohan was shown huffing afterwards.
And with that one hit some things you could conider is goku's state of mind before the hit landed which by looking at his demeanor wasn't exactly calm and when using the silver haired form goku can only get the most out of ui when he's calm and tranquil and goku was unable to block the kick because he used both of his arms to block the punch and the kick was immediately after the punch. And the kick itself didn't take goku out of ui.

But it's true, getting knocked out of MUI means death in a real fight, imagine if Goku was fighting I don't know Fusion Zamasu V2.0 he losing this form means being killed in Base immediately.

Goku picked up broly's reaction because his body was growing in power to try and catch up to Gohan. Furthermore, Ultra Instinct makes the body move on its own, so Goku didn't have to think about dodging. Gohan was probably like that because as he himself stated he was using more power than he normally uses which risks him going berserk from the amount of power beast has.
So at this point Goku constantly gains energy so long as he remains calm, Vegeta gets stronger so long as he gets hit, and Gohan can basically pull in as much ki as he needs so long as he can keep control of himself...
Ok this is the first time I have to disagree with you, if you have read the full chapter, you would know after the infamous punch panel, after panel kicks Goku away in the very next panel which was THE attack to send Goku flying…
That punch never one shotted him, that’s why people are saying Gohan didn’t one shot goku, He two pieced him that’s what actually happened..

From what I can gather, Goku was just surprised by Gohan actually going full power, mainly because he never had the intention to fight to win, only to check out his son's strength. We never saw Goku go all out during this chapter or using all of his resources
I don't understand how you can look at this and still ignore the part where Goku is visibly in pain with a tear in his eye, and was no longer in MUI after getting smashed in the gut. Neither of them were fighting to win in the first place. They stated from the beginning it was a test of strength and Gohan won.
@@broom673 because Gohan hitting Goku is just a part of the fight. It clearly hurt, but does Goku not keep going afterwards? He's not down for the count, far from it. Plus the teary eyed expression is some of the stuff you see when DB characters get slapped by someone like Bulma or Chichi, or when Goku's getting stung by a needle. It was clearly meant to add in some humor

Are people ignoring the fact that Gohan was holding back. Mui doesn't require a regular saiyan powerup. Goku can just power up instantly, which he did to blitz Gohan, yet Gohan also powered up and returned the favour by knocking goku out, Not to mention accorording to recent official translations. Goku only drew out some of his power. The max power translation is an error. Gohan is stronger
Even my friend knew huge gohan fan knows goku went out of mui to talk and then proceeded to go straight back with ease
so goku’s power isnt that insane anymore it just seems like its his skill and precision/instincts that gives him favor in most match ups after hit

I would tend to be of the persuasion that this was the intention of the superhero arc post TOP. The power levels are so ridiculous after a certain point it would just be a neverending train of transformations. As was pointed out by Whis some time ago, Goku and Vegeta have already reaped most of the rewards of training their bodily strength. They were massively outclassed by Jiren because of his control and understanding of his power, more than just brute strength (this wasn't evident in the anime really but let's ignore that) In super hero, Gohan and Piccolo, by all accounts the other most adept and powerful members of the Z fighters, close their respective gaps to Goku and Vegeta as far as power is concerned. Now, going forward, it appears that technique and strategy will be the focus of future fights because simply overpowering them isn't possible- but that doesn't mean they can't be beaten. I can see this arc taking shape- Frieza with his new black form, is still valuing power as his main means of victory- "the strongest will prevail" while the heroes can't match his raw potential, they are now working towards a means of victory within their reach. Also, this will eliminate the narrative need for more and more power ups and transformations, and a more creative and interesting road to victory.

This chapter heavily implies that Gohan can tap into more power in bursts and that he cant fully control it yet which means he still needs get angry somewhat to unleash ALL of his power. It looks like Broly is the same way.

Really dont know why people are so upset about Gohan being stronger than Goku. Gohan has always had much larger ki reserves than Goku. He nearly one shot Raditz as a toddler where Piccolo and Goku were getting manhandled while trying to jump him. Gohan even fought Frieza in multiple of his forms when he got mad while Goku at the time was vastly weaker than even first form Frieza before recovering from his fight with Ginyu. And then we have Gohan vs Cell and Gohan vs Super Buu. None of that was skill or technique. It was just Gohan getting his potential unleashed and getting really fucking mad, allowing him to tap into his full strength.
Simply put, Gohan is quite literally built different.
Ultra Instinct is still more powerful than Beast, Goku wasn't trying and even admitted that, he also never used any serious attacks, Ki Avatar, Hakai, he didn't want to kill Gohan, just test him
Well we don't have the officials yet but He never said he wasn't trying, he just said it wasn't about winning and that he wanted to see how strong Gohan was.

Goku wants to see more from him in the future. Goku can easily tell when someone is stronger and he'll say it like in broly movie, beerus, cell etc.... goku fought maijin vegeta and we found out he wasn't even going all out as he still had super saiyan 3. So we have always seen goku not really try countless times vs people HE doesn't deem worthy enough

Knowing Goku he would only be hyped or lookin forward to a good challenge, which all you Gohan downplayers keep saying Goku’s holding back and could easily beat Gohan.
