There are lots of farmers that this years heat and drought will break them. The drought is not new. It started about 2 years ago so add another year of crop and cow loss. Asking your readers to pray for them if they are turned that way. You and yours stay safe and havagudun.

You went through my hometown Cimarron Ks,i've been following for a while now so i look for you guys when ever i'm in dodge, so be safe and give opie a pat for me...
The last time I went through Dodge City Kansas, was on vacation trip from Colorado to Kansas City & thn South to Houston, Tx.on US Highways before Interstate system was built, you could SMELL the FEED LOTS at night before you get to the city, stayed at a motel on west side of town & no mistaking the SMELL of cattle FEED LOTS along the Santa Fe RR (Now BNSF)..PEW, STINKY 🐂🐂🤮😷. 🤠
You would make an interesting film. The bearded driver and his whimpering sidekick investigate the remains of a deserted colony of motor.vehicles, they travel great distances over the continent of americom securing for valuable commodities they can exchange for commodities of even greater value.
I used to have an aunt and uncle that lived in Dodge City. They used to come to my grandmothers house to see us in Pratt, Ks. You talk alot about Kinsley, Ks. I had a grandmother who was born in Kinsley, Ks. my grandfather was born Ashland, Ks. I'm a Kansas boy through and through.
I cringed when you wrote Hi Mom on the hood until you said not to worry about scratching the paint. I started a Paint First Class fund. I am up to 37 cents and moving forward. Hey, I'm a retired driver so I don't have much money. Stay safe.
Delivered little bit of steel to feed lot in, if I remember right, Broken Bow, Neb, 2 feed lots, 1 on S side & 1 on N side of town, I was told 40,000 head at each lot,
Nice video I’m sure glad that you still have a tremendous amount of interest in your family. That’s the way to go often time Trucking comes in between making money or being with the family but I am like you I’ve done the best of both.
So I started my trucking days way back with my father back in a GMC Astro! Then in his K !00 Kenworth K100 Cabover in 1974 I would later drive his 1978 k 100 ! I Started In the 80s following in Dads Foot Steeps!! Got A new W900 in 1984! Old School! Back Then!!
And that was Casey's I have heard great things about them. I enjoyed seeing the horse made from horse shoes back in dodge city I just saw that a few days ago and thought it was cool. Well parking late at night gravel parking lot may be all that is available? I enjoyed the road video especially the feed lots. I always enjoy driving by them in Kansas.
Hey you would make a great bull rack hauler with that smooth shifting you always do. But I think you have a better job of hauling the beef in the cold box. I have done a lot of the Bull and pork and sheep and goats hauling in the past. Give that nice copilot of yours a nice belly rub for me. Keep it on the top side up.
Another superb video once again Kurt and Opie leave the rabbit droppings alone my favourite German Shepherd take good care of yourselves out there Kurt and Opie
@@aaronpatterson2369 No restaurant in the pilot anymore, used to be Grandma Maxis which was very good! Also had a huge hamburger in which they would take your picture if you could finish it all.
Hello Mr Schmidt and Oppie, I have been watching your videos for quiet a while now, they are really entertaining, love riding shotgun with you most nights,, your truck is somethings else,, nothing like what we have over here in Ireland,, Best of luck 2 you now and keep up the great videos , say hello 2 your family,,, Slan 4 now,,, shay,,,, Dublin Ireland
Here in the Central Valley in California, we have the same type of problem, except our dirt has mold spores that float with the dirt and causes “valley fever”, a real and deadly disease that is air borne, you get it just from breathing. What do you mean that the phone booth is non functioning? I am sure Superman would consider it fully functional, it all depends on what your going to use it for!
You pulled in behind a truck that said Kindsvater on the back, my moms brother started that company along time ago. Both of my parents were from KS, Kinsley which you go through once in awhile and Frankfort. My dad was a truck driver back in the 30’s and 40’s. Love your channel
I look foreward to every video that you post. The camera angles are amazing and your LED hi-beams are (squirrel) the lady at 23:43 waving "Hi" in the lower right of the screen was funny.
glad to hear about garden city not the dry part though .Is ther rules on u tube about mentioning the name of the terminal you are at. Keep the kansas stuff coming.
Great video today. I love the part where you were saying, no I'm not gonna eat the whole pizza 🍕 and then the big smile. Stay safe my friend. God bless you. 🙏
Can you imagine what the Dust Bowl was like? The dust killed many by clogging their lungs causing pneumonia . Thank you for taking the scenic route. People are in such a hurry that they bypass downtown and miss out on some amazing things. Taking the slower scenic route can be very uplifting. I think the camera has made you look at things differently and notice more of the interesting things. Safe travels and God bless.
That’s an absolute lie “They,” do you understand that? They killed everybody in the Oklahoma area because there were 5 different races of people living there. John Steinbeck described their race by the bone structure, as in the encyclopedia. The foolishness that said it was the bank or the weather, were telling racist, bigot lies You god damn stupid black harted Catholic stupid black fart
Good morning Mr. Kurt. As always another great video. Our first motorcycle trip through Kansas brought us into dodge city. Dry and a lot of interesting smells. Right now. As I was watching the video I was thinking it takes more energy to be mean and nasty then it does to be nice. Thank you for complementing that shipper About their nice attitude. Let’s make positive attitude and graciousness go viral.
Good morning ☕️ Happy Saturday. I am alittle behind. I'll do my best 2 get caught up this weekend. Thank you 4 taking us along. Nice seeing Omaha Hahaha just 4 a minute. It is only 13 this morning with some snow flurries. Cold this weekend & next week. The wind was brutal yesterday. I took a small road trip in a passenger van. It was definitely a both hands on the wheel kinda day. Thank you for all those hundreds of miles driven getting the goods 2 us. Remember: If you got it. A trucker brought it. I am borrowing that quote.😉 The weather Halloween night was perfect. Our son & our niece's made out like bandits. Have a blessed weekend. God is your pilot. 💕 🙏🏈🥶
When you put the hood down in the wash bay I thought to myself don’t forget to latch it…. I’d have done the same thing LOL! Thanks for the shoutout as you drove by the “Blue Trucks”!
Very nice video Kurt. Really showing that your runs are not anywhere near 9 to 5. A lot of driving late in the day into the night. I love the way your operate your tractor. Smooth as butter like no other. There is not any movement on the hood torquing over when you shift gears. Much fuel saving going on. It not how fast it took you to get up to speed but what it took in fuel to get you there. Anyhow nice video Kurt, have a great and a safe day, happy trails.
Given KS farmland goes for 7K an acre, you got a really valuable free souvenir, don't mean the yummy pizza. Love seeing cheap gas prices, is still $4.06 in Danville. Really dry harvest is good thing, then get a bit of rain to settle the winter wheat, just be glad you don't have to do hurricanes and evacuations.
Kurt, it's so nice when you come across Very Nice People like yourself but on the other place when they told you dogs aloud . Was that in Indiana? and Stay Safe Kurt!....
😢 I am so homesick watching this video. We're stuck in VA going on 10 years. Thanks for sharing. 🎉
Thanks for giving Kansas some love. And Yes we need rain bad!!

Be careful while at the truck stops. Woke up this morning with barely enough fuel to get to the fuel island. Some sorry POS stole my fuel!

How does the dust affect air cleaners and fuel filters? Do you have to change more often?
Kurt, the price of diesel fuel at a Sunoco station in Rutherford N.J.; $4.09 per gallon and you do not have to pump it yourself they pump it.
Sorry Kurt, I meant where they told you no dogs aloud and did the guy have his dog?
Kurt, it's so nice when you come across Very Nice People like yourself but on the other place when they told you dogs aloud . Was that in Indiana? and Stay Safe Kurt!....

Rabbit feces may contain parasites 😮
