🤣🤣 YOU were supposed to relax me before going to sleep, I said it before I finished watching this and then I saw you running out of diesel, what!! 😳.. instead of relaxing, you had me almost chewing my nails and sitting on the edge of the bunk in suspense, luckily you made it to the gas station even with the detourswith a quart of diesel left WOW...🤣🤣 Thankfully your sweetheart of a wife was there to rescue you by bringing your wallet ... that was awesome... 😍❤ THANKS, for the adrenalin shot 🥶🤣🤣😍
Ah Kurt, nice to watch the KC-135M. Refueled off of it over 100 times! The National Anthem brings back memories of growing up in a small farming town with 14 of us in our senior class! Living on the left coast of Washington State really sucks! I miss the small town life
There was a stop light on an uphill grade with a McDonald's parking lot close to the road in Jane Mo. A few years ago, before the new I-49 bypass was completed, all the trucks were running thru. There was a lot of truck traffic, and it was easy catching, starting side by side off the light up the hill. I had taken some short videos but don't know where they went. I would go take more but the traffic moved to the bypass. That might give you an idea if you could find a place like that to vedio???
Morning Kurt. It was 71 degrees here in Coffeeville Alabama yesterday. I was sitting in my deer blind in shorts and t-shirts. And insect repellent. It was a big difference between here and my hometown of Waterloo, Iowa. If you ever want to go deer hunting check me out. 2 acre yard before you hit the woods. So plenty of parking.
Just go with the flow Kurt. Hope to see you back in the truck soon, but I am also enjoying the time you are spending at home with the most important people in your world.
I would like to thank your daughter for her version of high school wrestling. As a person that wrestled in both high school and college I absolutely lost it when she said “aggressive, groping“.
there are indeed very few channels tha are solely dedicated to this ..one im pretty sure is actually called truck spotting .. still a fun idea .. and there are sooo many ways drivers make trucks thier own .. love your content Kurt
I watch all the time at various intersections in U. S. on you tube. trucks are recorded at I-80 in Iowa, Walcott, I-40 and US 40 in Arizona and I-40 at Barstow, California and a lot clean trucks at Barstow at the truck wash and filming at a few other places on east coast
The next time you film the trucks on some of the 'unusual' ones could you maybe give us an idea if you know or can tell what they are hauling. Their was one tracker truck pulling a double tanker. I am on out fire dept. and have taken Haz-mat but didn't get a good enough look to tell if it was possibly a haz-mat load vs. something like milk. I know with boxes they can have anything but like the trucks you later said was going in and out of Tyson that had cattle. Pet Opie and Jax for us and stay safe out there.
Kurt I love the sound of semi radial tires.& I love truck spotting at night.( Some semi's are super lit up at night ) truck fans love those two truck spotting aspects of semi s spotting.🙂
Very cool video. Always great content. Stay warm Stay safe and keep on keeping on. Wasn't boring at all. And your face got very red lol when you talked about your wallet lol
Kurt. Have you talked yourself out of trucking? I understand the fuel costs and all the other problems, but "Trucking" with Schmidt seems to be a fond memory. Enjoy your camping and time with the kids videos, but miss the rumble of First Class, the floating of gears and your travelogues.....even if it just was to Topeka!
I was thinking the same thing. We're long-time viewers/subscribers, and we do enjoy your home videos, but IMO today's content wasn't up to your usual standard Kurt.
Enjoyed it Kurt. I've run out of fuel twice, once in a big truck and once in my car. Yes my Uber Dad bailed me out with my car. Sometimes you just shake your head and go on. Stay safe Kurt 😎 Paige Rocked it.
Kurt they do run Semi Truck trains in Australia . Because of the wide open spaces and red clay roads. No regulations preventing it and it takes so many miles to go the only way to make it pay either that or more trucks . You should watch some Australian videos. Pretty impressive rigs love your videos . What ever you’re up too. The German Shepherds are enough to keep me watching ❤
What a variety of trucks around Sioux City. Maybe one of your followers can answer two questions I’ve had. How do the doubles like the one at 2:44 and 4:53 operate legally in Iowa? Secondly why do bull racks have the company name on the top front that usually is lit at night? Anybody out there know?
It was still a interesting video, different but good. Shows all the trucks and makes me wonder how their bootom line is. On the good side you know how far you can trust the fuel gauge. God Bless and be safe out in the cold.
Nice mixed scenery and wow, the wind and cold,🥶 relentless! Beautiful American flag 🇺🇸 ❤ Your babies love playing with that ball, is adorable 😍 About truck videos like this video, I actually made one of those videos on INSTAGRAM, nothing long like yours here or clear and steady but a rough 90 seconds, I loved editing it, it came out pretty cute with seven different trucks that were passing me from start to finish, in day and night time, wish I could share.. is fun doing it, I feel the same way, love recording but don't have a steady camera or your nack for choosing interesting content. Keep them coming, it relaxes me while resting before I get rolling again in the early morning... unlike you, I'm an early bird 😁🤣
Always enjoy the content Kurt and you didn't run out of diesel that's the main thing because trust me it's embarrassing doing so you all take good care of yourselves won't you Kurt
I have been studying sleepers. I am building a model pete. I stretched the frame and made a bigger sleeper for it but I need to get the details at least close to right lol. You showed a few good examples today. Thanks for that.
Kurt i thought i saw your pickup and camper sitting down at the fuel transfer place last week but i wasn’t sure. Now i know it was you! I will definitely stop next time i see to meet the legend. -Colby
Is ok your out of your element not being in the truck but back in your element with the family. You will find what you’re looking for soon. Keep them coming Kurt. Havagudun bud.
There definitley are a few of us who do spotting. Off the top of my head, I don't know any in your area, so that would be a newer thing. You have a good camera already, it looks like, which helps a lot. Little suggestion for you is to zoom in & follow the trucks while you record. It can make for much better shots.
This was actually a really cool video! Next time perhaps a better plan of action as direction of locations, weather a bit more cooperative... oh and don't forget the wallet. Tater Tot has a beautiful voice by the way. And yes I am the new guy here. Much love n prayers from upstate NY.🙏💜
My excursion had a 5 gal reserve once guage said e and fuel trip reached 0 miles to empty. It would averagd 10mpg so you had 50 miles-ish to find fuel. Guage worked off of 38 gallons but tank held 43 gallons. Maybe your truck is similar
Whenever you show Opie on the video He knows you are videoing him. I think he sees himself in the camera and he immediately turns away. He is a cute boy. Love that Opie.
Hey Kurt awesome video. Here in lancaster pa there's a guy that does large car videos. He does a lot of pretty boys trucks. 🙂 his utube videos called largecar 717 area
Good idea to photograph trucks. I have quite a few books that I have collected over the years. The photos in these books were taken in various places. One author’s favorite spot was at the rest stop as you go over the “GRAPEVINE” in California. Another favorite place is at the truck stops. These two places provide for some nice static shots for pictures, not necessarily video. They also might provide the opportunity to meet the driver/owner for a short interview. I feel bad that I never photographed my dads trucks over the years from before I was born(I am 67 now) to the last one he owned in 1974. Shame on me. Keep up the good work!
Nice vid. Yeah....people on the road....idiots. Idiots because they're dangerous! You know, you could maybe get a trail cam, and place it in a hidden spot where you know trucks are going to frequent and just let it record for a couple/few days. Then retrieve it and see what it picked up. Might take a little practice, but it could work out, and they aren't terribly expensive. I think some will even auto-upload to a location but you'd have to look into that.
I had more than my fill of trucks on the interstate to and from Minneapolis on Saturday. Nice capture of the plane. I have a small air strip behind my house that the military uses for helicopter exercises. It's pretty cool. Watching grass grow is even more exciting.😊Idiots are the ones that kill other people. There is never a dull moment with you. Thank you for sharing your day. Stay safe and God bless.
We know Fred price have been bad and you have been enjoying your vacation but we need some 1st class. You always have to leave at least a 20 in the astray
Hi Kurt their is no shortage of idiots in NJ eighter, driving the school bus this morning a one pass me with a double yellow with n intersection involved people just can't wait to pass the big yellow bus totally stupid
Running out of Diesel with Schmidt has a good ring to it. The creativity of Uber Dad would be something to behold.
I sense a challenge has been thrown down. I will have to think about this.
Mom too the rescue lol great video again Kurt. Never ran out of gas but did end up with a dead engine in the middle of nowhere a few times hehe
Loved the video. Thanks for taking the time to make it for us.
Awesome job singing!!!! Enjoying the videos!!! Y’all take care over there.
🤣🤣 YOU were supposed to relax me before going to sleep, I said it before I finished watching this and then I saw you running out of diesel, what!! 😳.. instead of relaxing, you had me almost chewing my nails and sitting on the edge of the bunk in suspense, luckily you made it to the gas station even with the detourswith a quart of diesel left WOW...🤣🤣

THANKS, for the adrenalin shot
🥶🤣🤣😍
That singing performance at the end of the video was great! 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
I love that aggressive grouping line. Your daughter nailed it with her singing. Love your family. Peace out
Schmidt just remember, YOU are the content. Keep rambling!!
Ah Kurt, nice to watch the KC-135M. Refueled off of it over 100 times!

You’re like a transportation documentarian… except for the lack of the big ships and rockets. 😆
I've been driving for years. The sound of 18 wheels rolling down the highway never gets old!
Good job stay with it I have not worked in 18 months due to the doctor and state of Wisconsin still love your w900 tks Dave

Hey Kurt - thanks for a little support of HS wrestling. The official looks like a friend of mine…Jim from Harlan.
As a pervious truck owner I most always like truck video's.
Hey Kurt wow you were REALLY CLOSE lol ❤️👍🙏🏻✌️💪🏻
Head over to Walcott as you you will see everything there😊🚚🚛🚚🚛
I watch all the time at various intersections in U. S. on you tube. trucks are recorded at I-80 in Iowa, Walcott, I-40 and US 40 in Arizona and I-40 at Barstow, California and a lot clean trucks at Barstow at the truck wash and filming at a few other places on east coast
Adventure is when things are not planned thanks for the video.

Maybe the KW is in the mood to haul Hogs! 🤣🤣🤣
"On the road again, Kurt can't wait to get on the road again..."
Signed,
Willie
You have your Manger out for next Christmas already, I like it
Kurt I love the sound of semi radial tires.& I love truck spotting at night.( Some semi's are super lit up at night ) truck fans love those two truck spotting aspects of semi s spotting.🙂
Yup! I ran the Midwest and had 65 lights on my trailers.
Love the chicken lights. Wasn’t cheap, yet distinctive.
Very cool video. Always great content. Stay warm Stay safe and keep on keeping on. Wasn't boring at all. And your face got very red lol when you talked about your wallet lol
Glad you made it to get fuel after seeing the planes I was wondering if if you were going to complete it with a a few shots of some tug boats
Enjoyed. Proud moment for ya at the end!!!
This channel is beyond addicting. Thank you

What’s the point of trucking when the rates don’t cover the fuel and truck?
Agree, that if rates don't cover it's awfully hard to make a living, but sure is a lousy way to be forced off the road!
HELLO KURT GREAT VIDEO AS ALL WAYS ! BEAUTIFUL SNOW & 🐾🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾🐾!! BE BLESSED BROTHER !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Kurt that's a KC-135R , spent 20+ working on them now that I'm retired I really miss my time on them
Wow Planes, Trains and Automobiles! I think that's already a movie! 👍
Enjoyed it Kurt. I've run out of fuel twice, once in a big truck and once in my car. Yes my Uber Dad bailed me out with my car. Sometimes you just shake your head and go on. Stay safe Kurt 😎 Paige Rocked it.

She was great doing her singing you should be proud.
Absolutely hilarious 😆 . You may think it’s a bust but, it wasn’t. It same kind of day I have from time to time. Keep on doing it. 👍
You can watch all the "traffic" on those Dept. of Transportation web cams, and the weather too

Really enjoyed this video! Very interesting!😍
I love sitting somewhere that I can watch Semis' and listen to the whine of the wheels on the pavement.

Still an awesome video even if it wasn't what you planned or wanted.
Time to call Uber dad and tell him your running out of fuel great video and keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe 🙏
Is ok your out of your element not being in the truck but back in your element with the family. You will find what you’re looking for soon. Keep them coming Kurt. Havagudun bud.
The KC-135 is a overall good refueling bird

Three cheers on the national anthem, glad you were there, very important and supportive.
30 on gravel? I guess I'm one of "those" guys that rips down them! 😏😏😂😂

that was the best sounding national anthem I ever heard. Brought a chill to me lol that don't happen often.
Hey Kurt awesome video. Here in lancaster pa there's a guy that does large car videos. He does a lot of pretty boys trucks. 🙂 his utube videos called largecar 717 area
I was at that pipeline that morning getting a load of gas when u recored that. U should of been there at 7am u could of got me in there.
Cool plane spotting also ty Kurt🙂

Hey Kurt, when are you going back out on the road?
Kurt. The Air Force Jet is a KC 135
Dang! I pull in STF every day wish I could have ran across you!! I come threw you’re town almost every day hope to meet you one day
I like the mommy tank pulling the baby tank 🤣
Loved this video. Find an interstate overpass and enjoy the show.
Nice vid. Yeah....people on the road....idiots. Idiots because they're dangerous!

When are you going to be back in your semi truck I really miss that a lot.
Damn, had to put a jacket on just to watch this video.
Love your videos, Kurt. Made me laugh when you said you forgot your wallet. Thank goodness for a good wife. Good job, Paige. See you next time.
i'm just wondering? The Tanker that was pulling the pup is that what is called a "B Double"?
I had more than my fill of trucks on the interstate to and from Minneapolis on Saturday. Nice capture of the plane. When we were in the midwest we got worse gas mileage than in the mountains.
Liked the content. Trucks, trains, and planes. Maybe some commentary on types of trucks and trailers. Thanks for the video.
Great job TaterTot!! Stay safe y’all!!
There's no better sound than a country highway and the truck traffic.
Well, that and nature!
Think that plane you caught was a rare one nowadays , looked like the beautiful 707.
Any video that ends with Iowa kids isn't bad.
Now you can say it's trucking with you. You check trucks check Opie check Jake brake check. yup its a success.
Glad to see we're still getting just about 10k views a day
We know Fred price have been bad and you have been enjoying your vacation but we need some 1st class. You always have to leave at least a 20 in the astray
Are you ever going back to trucking.
He don’t like to work not in his DNA
Hi Kurt their is no shortage of idiots in NJ eighter, driving the school bus this morning a one pass me with a double yellow with n intersection involved people just can't wait to pass the big yellow bus totally stupid
Weren't you taught to check you fuel tank before going anywhere? I was taught to do that every time I get into any vehicle.
I thought you were the DOT for a second while you were at CF entrance.
You just love taking risks don't you? Lol! That's ok uber dad will come to the rescue.
They should be the one's to sing the rational anthem at the super bowl!
🍭SWEET🍭👍🏼
What happened to first class ?
LargeCarMag does Truck spotting in Walcott
Hay Kurt are you going to be driving first class soon
