He has a little more humanity in him. That makes sense. The parents were extremely toxic, but it probably was a process to get that dysfunctional. He had the “better side” of them and Jake got full toxicity, given he is younger.

The only parts he said he is not sure is the exact sentences that he was told he said years ago during his previous testimony. He said he might have said but "I don't remember and if it is written like that on the document, it means I said that but I don't remember". Did we all watch the same testimony or you guys are just talking without watching it properly? Sure I am not defending him and don't have a clue about these kind of families but your comment seems wrong. And why didn't we see the mom's and brother's testimonies? That looks like protecting the state which made deals with 2 liars. But still, we know that both mom and the brother said this guy did not kill anyone. This guy can be given a chance maybe under a watch but so far, it does not seem fair to say that he is guilty. Let's see.

The moron cannot figure out if he didn't want Angela living there in his and Jake's home all he had to do is move her out! All problems solved! The way she treated Jake and George's ex'es the women the boys actually loved! It was horrendous! She should have been moved out long ago!
George said something that really needs to be looked into! He sited the avoidance of inheritance tax being the reason behind the boys names on the Flying W and Bethel hill and Peterson hill so... Have the State of Ohio looked into the Flying W and whether they are infact partial owners? I could see the State of Ohio requiring any properties liquefied into cash! The bill for the attorneys is going to be tremendous!

Anchors watching the case on TV did not get to see the 2 most important witnesses for Prosecution in the case. We really are not in the right position to understand all of the evidence. There is plenty for conviction, but we will see what jurors tell us. I don't believe for one moment that he could have been living with these family members and doing everything with them, but never had any idea they did this crime. And those statements on the tapes?

Partially agree. However, no physical evidence ties him to any of the scenes; if any guilt would be accessory def not death or life. I think it was the Jake & the mother. I think the mother drove and the kid shot.

@@tuckerc4193 There really was zero physical evidence to tie any of them to the crime scenes, other than the mother's purchase of the men's shoes that were used. This was a family of criminals, and they spent a whole bunch of time thinking how to do the crime without being detected. They were smart enough to take a bunch of steps to avoid leaving any traces of themselves behind. We heard from 5 witnesses who testified about the extremely close family dynamics from inside the family, including 2 ex-wives, and all of them are in agreement about how the family did everything together, except for George.

Listen I'm just chirping into the void I'm but a kernel unpopped at bags bottom & fully aware my opinion does not matter I just had to get it off my chest it was frustrating me because I haven't even gotten past this part but her trying to make a big deal out of his current address being different than the one he filled out on the form to buy weapons is prime example of someone who's obviously out of touch with what she's talking about because everyone who's ever bought a weapon knows that goes on every day probably with about 80% of people who buy weapons rather they live at the address on their license or not they put down the one on their license because everyone knows there will be a hassle otherwise and yes about 9 out of 10 times the folks who are selling you the weapons will say to you if you legitimately ask them they will tell you to not put your current address if it's different from the one on your license so she failed at proving he is some kind of dishonest person at least with that bit of so-called evidence that just wasted 10 minutes and came off looking really stupid and incompetent being a district attorney and that unaware of how weapon sales take place it would not surprise me to find out she is some big advocate for gun control of course I'm whining about all of this with the fact that eight people were murdered never being lost from my mind and brother here I think knew about everything but no I think the person that was with Jake was his dad I have no doubts that this guy is no danger to society and that unfortunately for him he had a gang of psychos for a f****** family I would be completely content with this kid getting less than 10 years total unfortunately for him he'll probably get life w/o parole which is BS being that Mama and the murdering f****** psycho both took plea deals so obviously they're going to say whatever they're told to say by the district attorney at this point that freaking mother I think probably put it in her psycho son's head to do this to begin with she should be getting the death penalty if anybody should aside from the psycho who after murdering 8 people will spend 50 plus years soaking up tax dollars since he took a plea deal

These criminals spent a bunch of time going over this crime as a family and taking steps to conceal everything they were doing. Of course there is very little forensic evidence when you look at the lengths they went to to hide the evidence. His own Mom and brother tied him into the murders. That is good enough for me.

How come defense could not produce a single witness other than George who could confirm that he had problems with his family around anything they were doing? His problem with mom and brother is that they snitched on him. Other witnesses, Jake's second wife and George's ex both stated that he was thicker than thieves with the family. No separation, even when it came to George's sex life. He was in on all of it and ready to help if he was needed.
