Awesome how u are careful in these caves to preserve them the best u can 👍
Thanks. In these ones with a lot of formations... We have to be super careful. It is not even really loved within the caving community that we show videos of them. So we have to take extra care not to show locations or anything.
@@CalvinHikes I know you wouldn't want people going to the locations and defiling the formations but are there really anti-spelunkers going around just to destroy the fun for other people? Me being someone who doesn't cave wouldn't waste my time going to a cave to destroy structures, but I don't know.
@@Pihan- No there aren't any people looking to destroy caves. And there aren't anyone who's going to come out to these caves ever.
Our care of this cave location is a courtesy to the people who are stewards over the caves of this area. I think they are overjudging people's zealousy to find caves like this and go in them. But it's not always our call. The caving community works together to share information and so we have to be respectful of what other groups want also.
With highly sensitive caves like this it doesn't take much. Even good cavers with good intentions over time will damage parts of the cave. So it's also about limiting all cavers... even respectful cavers like us.
I'm telling you it's a sensitive community!
@@CalvinHikes have you ever thought about being a cave guide like if my wife and I want to get into this we are a big fan since watching your videos we have gone on hikes more we want to get into caveing for out 10th anniversary we would like for you to take us on one if you wouldn't mind I would pay so plz let me know.....

It's crazy that after watching these videos for a few months my level of claustrophobia has dropped significantly, even went into my homes crawlspace for the first time. Glad to watch your channel grow!
Caving does that for us too. We’re working our way up to do crawl spaces. 🤗
Same here, I used to get very anxious watching this, now I feel more calm, I also started caving recently, been doing quite simple caves and mines with some crawls and my anxiety levels improve every time I go, tight spaces used to be my number one fear, now it's just mildly uncomfortable for me to do.
Nothing seems to get me over my fear of hights though !
Just watching people climb cranes and stuff makes my hands and feet sweat and heart beat rise!
Nice!!
Isn't that true! The first few of these I watched I could barely breath and was yelling at my screen for them to stop and so on! ha BUT over time I've gotten a lot more comfortable and acclimated to these scenes.....not that I could actually DO THIS.
@David Humes ha! Have you seen these videos? :) Trust me, not this guy!!! ha
I'd find ZERO fun being in there. But it's fun watching you guys brave it!

This is really awesome. I bet it's very special doing this, and finding caves like this. Because you know only a few people will ever see that stuff , and you guys see things we never will.
After watching a bunch of your videos lately , I'm starting to understand your reason for caving. Really awesome stuff .

Since I grew up in Missouri I have to keep reminding myself that you're in lava caves and gloves aren't needed when touching formations. Welcome to the dark frontier.
Do scientists (or who) often traverse places like these to collect information about these types of formations?
Also, out of curiosity, what level of caving experience/expertise would you need for this cave? Or how comfortable do you expect the average person would feel going through the entrance? You two make it look so easy but the smallest parts seem large enough for the average unskilled person to do so comfortably. I know it may be more complicated than that.
Finding these caves is nearly impossible. The rest is unique to each cave. We are in a very remote wilderness area here. Thanks for watching
This sort of thing is fascinating. It's unnerving and creeps me out, but I can't look away.
In time, you’ll be wanting to try one on for size.

There is something primal about caves and deep places. Those places that squeeze and tighten up around you is much like the trip we all took just to get to this place.
The squeeze we all took to get into life is next level.
Thanks for sharing this one with us here today.

A tour through the lava holes, and a taco bell commercial. How appropriate.
The things we have to put up with on RUclips! Thanks for watching
Question: Did you put the cartoon filter on the footage of the outside entrance of the cave in order to keep curious amateurs from locating it?
Technically yes. I don't think anyone will ever find these caves ever in the history of all time. But the people who essentially give us the locations of the caves want us to hide the location. So it's a courtesy to those who share caving information with us so that they will not withhold information from us next time.
Caving is a private, sensitive world. The people and the caves.

So, you are ready for a tour? Thanks for the kind words.
@@billsanders9387 Would love to!! Greetings from Brazil! Don't know where you live, but wouldn't miss a chance to join you if I was nearby
We live in Northwest US, and cave Calif, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington primarily. Find us some caves in your beautiful country and we’ll learn Portuguese. 🤪
I love ❤️ his voice. He needs to have a podcast. Just a very educational type voice
Thank you!
That’s some amazing geology! The lava tubes
You guys are crazy
We consider that a compliment.
Watching these videos gives me a fun dose of adrenaline. I would never want to be there myself, but watching it is great. Stay safe.
Adrenaline is our drug of choice too. Thanks for watching
i’m actually scared watching these,
Relax and enjoy. We cave for the sheer joy of discovery, and we take care to make it out safe.
Love it, so relaxing to watch
And to experience too. Silence and solitude.
this channel is my comfort place. i really like your narrative and how you explain everything! lots of love!
Great comment. It’s a unique kind of fun.
I am sorry but as soon as you see a crack like in the beginning of video, you should not proceed. never.
Also please visit those alpine and caucasus caves that are miles deep and long. Do an expedition and record everything. Source equipment through funding sites undercover like indiegogo etc. and sell your footage through them as well. (by undercover I mean say it is like a vr experience project or something and only let your immediate fans know through word of your own) Make a tier where you give them the uncut experience for like 1k dollars each and scratch the names of the highest tier backers inside the farthest point in those caves (like 10k each) You would become a BILLIONARE I swear.
We do caves that are miles long, and many that had never been explored previously. Our intent is just to provide a visual for those interested in our crazy hobby. It will never be about the money. Glad you enjoyed the video.
This Man has no fear !
Wanna bet? 🤪. Living life in a unique manner may harness some fear, but we are all human. Thanks for watching
"The lost souls of the under world.
I'd turn off the light and take a nap before I came out! Lol
Sometimes we do.
