  • Hey y'all, here's how I unboxed and assembled my new tire balance from Katool. I got a package deal from them on ebay and took a road trip to get it with a lift and tire changer.

      Thanks, I don't know what I'm doing yet as far as making videos, but that balancer is 1/2 the cost of others and works as it should!!

    Thanks good video one question can you calibrate this machine before you start

    • @Modified1
      @Modified1  Год назад

      It comes calibrated from the factory, but to check it or recalibrate use a 14"-15" wheel that is already balanced and follow the instructions in the back of the manual using the provided wheel weight to make sure it's correct.

      This machine works great, I've balanced 20's, heavy load range e commercial 18's on my buddies hotshot truck, as well as 13,14,15in trailer tires. All have been balanced well and used up to 80mph, some 120+ lol, it's a good machine and for the price I paid for it, it's already paid for itself.

    Hi can I ask you something did you ever regret buying this machine or you are very happy.
    The reason I am asking I am debating buying this machine or May Flower stuck between which one is better I am not commercial garage person I am just residential homeowner wanted to buy myself cars and family cars hard to take decision if you advise me what you think as you are great person answer every time.
    I found lots of videos for Mayflower tire balancing machine but surprising there is only one video which is you posted that's all nothing else great video keep it up

    • @Modified1
      @Modified1  Год назад

      So far this machine has been great. I've balanced trailer tires, car/truck tires, 14" up to 20" the largest tire was a 305/70r17 and it balanced it perfectly. So no, no regrets at all. Customer service is excellent and the package I bought with the tire mount machine was $1900 for both on eBay.

      I'm also not a commercial company, and my "shop" is just a 24x30 carport. I build boats too and walls would get in the way.

    • @Modified1
      @Modified1  Год назад

      I'm not sure what you're asking. All of that depends on the wheel and tire combination that you're balancing. The rim width is measured by the caliper provided with the machine, the wheel dia is just that r14, r15, r20, r17 and the machine will tell you how much weight once the tire is spun.
