I had a smart watch which I got fed up with because in direct bright sunlight it was hard to read and you had to recharge it every 3 days. In the end I got rid of it and went bought this classic watch - it is a joy to use because it tells me the time with no faff!
While I respect your decision and preference, it's worth mentioning for others that in pitch black even that small pathetic green light is perfectly useful to tell time. It serves it's purpose. Cheers.

a casio for me it is like
to see my past present and future when I see the time of my casio every day on my wrist
Couldn't have said it better myself.
It looks great. Immeasurably cooler than any smart watch.
He looks great, but the little green light puts me off :(
Just for the lighting I decided to buy an A168WA not an A158WA

Good watch for the price, but as others have said, the backlight is terrible
@@bucketheadothers2384 When do you need to tell the time when it's pitch black?
@@asensibleyoungman2978 uh, in the night?
@@bucketheadothers2384 Switch the light on. Don't you have electricity in your home?
I never really understand why people complain about a back light on a £20 watch lol
Becaaaaaaause it could so easily just have a good back light like a168. It's sucks that Casio makes nice looking watches with pathetic backlights
I like the retro feel of the green light from these modules. Although my favorite is the amber light of the A700W.
@@illuminatedinnerstandingFor the watch collectors, this feature increases the feeling of an authentic vintage watch
Exactly, especially when a £500k Patek Philippe doesn't even have a light.
Does this watch have the SIG feature?
Yes.
@@wristaction Great, thank you
Will it fit a leather strap?
Yes, if you get the right size.
