Why do you make Monday’s so much better? 😍🙈 Edit: in my house we use an old pillow case to clean the fan blades. We just put it over top of the blade and then slide it off. That way all the dust is inside the pillow case! Just a tip😉

I bought that cleaning mitt at the dollar store yesterday. I was so happy to see that they had one. I'm planning on using it on my ceiling fan since I have so much trouble cleaning it.

Love your videos! I learned a tip when cleaning fans is to use your dirty pillowcase! You place the pillowcase over the blade and sweep all of the dust into the pillowcase and then throw it in the wash! We have done this many times, it doesn't stay in the pillowcase (some have asked me that lol) but it sure beats any of it falling onto the bed from regular dusting methods!

I agree with being thankful for this tip. I don't have cloth furniture....of any kind. We have two Bostons that forbid cloth! haha My son and his family live in a home with microfiber furniture and carpet. They have a LARGE Boxer that thinks he is little. I have NO carpet in my house though my husband loves it...carpet and dogs equal funky smells in the house! LOL Anyway, long way around to say I am sharing this with my son real quick! Thanks!!!!

AWESOME!!! I see you have a Dyson. Best vacuum ever!!! I have 2. My newer one and my old one we use for like cleaning the cat cage, dog kennel and rabbit cage. Even though our new machine is a pet one I still prefer to use the older one for those jobs. YAY FOR Dyson!!!❤❤❤
I also use rubbing alcohol on so much of what I clean, and I have two of the cleaning hand mitts. Those are the best ! I add a few drops of essential oils to the alcohol and use to freshen carpets, rugs, furniture, and curtains.For curtains, I take them down, wash them, and hang them back up to dry. Part of big cleaning , for me, also includes shampooing any carpets. You would be shocked at the dirty water that comes out of even the cleanest looking carpets!
I've got that mitt in my car. I use it to dry my windows or missed spots when I go through the car wash. It works great for inside the car on the dash also.
I need that microfiber cleaning mitt! I have a million uses for it including mega-dusty silk plants and window blinds. I've put it off way too long! With all the cats and dogs in my house, the cleaning is ENDLESS.

If you have heavy dust buildup pulling a pillowcase over each fan blade will prevent the dust from flying out everywhere :) Then just wash and dry!
