I have to be honest, but I'm not really feeling the graphics of VF3 right now. Maybe I have to get used to it, but it looks like they just rushed and threw it together so we as consumers can shut up lol. The programmers or designers could have made it worth our time by at least giving us new furniture options! It just looks cheap to me. Could have been more creative in my opinion. Sorry, but this is how I feel about it. Disappointed because I know it could've been much better than this 😞.
Yeahh I think I'll have to get used to it too. I would've been totally fine tbh with them not even making any changes at all to the UI, or graphics and instead just focusing on adding in new features/content/etc. Especially considering how long it's been since the game's announcement, you're right, it's a bit disappointing.

I don’t really like how the house is sideways you have to break your neck a little bit lol. I like how the characters are black now and some of the features are better. But I’m mad that the characters still can’t leave the house

My kind of house when the kitchen is the largest room in the house lmao. Yeah I feel like they could have done more in the 15 years it took them to release a beta lol. You should be able to drag them to the trash or something to get rid of the ants. In VF2 there was a tan jar on the counter you get rid of. Also maybe drag them to their work station, you might have to check to see if there are job upgrades. It's weird lol
lmao yes the kitchen is quite large (not complaining). I agree, some things feel a bit underwhelming so far, and considering how long it's been since VF3 was announced...hm. Thank you for telling me about the ants! I do remember now the jar in VF2. I was dragging them to the kitchen, which I'm assuming is their work station...is it not?
@@KianaLuvsYou44 Yes I usually dropped them on stove or to the upgraded spots, but yeah generally the counter should trigger them to work.
i like how you have the choice in whether you want to be in a relationship with a man or woman
You can also choose who takes care of the baby as opposed to the mom being forced to do it

I downloaded this game when it just came out and I was SO excited to play it, after waiting for like 5 years. At first I was so overwhelmed with the little changes in the game. For example, there is a larger variety of skin colours, you can choose the sexuality of your little people and you can even choose which parent can take care of the babies! I was amazed at the development and how it has progressed so much to match with the world now a days. But then as I began playing there were so many aspects that were lacking and honestly seemed rushed... I really don’t like the new graphics of the little people and their animations, it’s just not for me. They should fix it or just bring back the ones from VF2 because it puts me off the game...
This is honestly spot on with how I feel about the game too! I think if the game would've kept the graphics and style of VF2 but just added the new features of VF3, the game would be much better.
@@KianaLuvsYou44 I'm glad to see someone else thinks the same way as me! I still play VF2 since its such a fun game, and I have to say they done AMAZING with graphics and animations. So when I saw VF3, lets just say I was very disappointed... It just seemed like they went backwards instead of forward with the quality of content. If they changed the style to the "old one" and added the new features (just like you pointed out) the game would honestly be so much better and actually enjoyable to play. Now we'll just have to wait and see if they would actually listen to our requests :/
Virtual families 2 brings back so many memories seeing vf3 makes me happy knowing it's still continuing
Very disappointing game, waited years just for it to be very ok. The only real upgrades to me is the house upgrades, and the family genes system. Unfortunately for the family gene system I keep getting the same person every single birth. But very interested in watching u play this, and see what I missed while playing.
It's a beta version. Lol calm down. It isn't even finished.

Just got into VF3 a few days ago and kinda glad I caught it after most of the major changes of Beta mode! Gonna be starting my second gen soon and super excited about it. Anxiously waiting for the bittersweet moment my elderly parents give in to the rainbow Because I don't want to speed through with the time warp when I know by the time I wake up in the morning I can begin again 😂😂

Its extremely upsetting being a fan of the game for the longest time and waiting for the next game in the series just to get something okay. I'm seeing a pattern with the sims 4 as well..... nothing new and not better than previous games. When can we get a new fun simulation game.

I can't believe that the game is finally here! (even if it's just in Beta right now.)
I have literally been waiting for the release of this game since 2015, so even just the Beta of it being released is very, very exciting.
some things I like about the game just from seeing it for the first time in this video:
-I really like the potential for the house. when you looked in the Home Renovations it seems like there is a lot of different rooms to add and renovate, which I think is pretty exciting.
-I also really like that you can pick which parent takes care of the baby. I think that's a nice add to the game.
-I like that they actually celebrate the marriage instead of just like hugging?? and then going on with their day like in VF2 😹 I think it's really cool that they make a whole meal for the celebration, and dance & everything.
-I think that the new furniture that they added is really nice; the new designs are really cool and even if there aren't many *new* decorations and furniture, I do think that what they DID add to the store is really cute. and it's just nice to see some new changes even if there's not actually a whole lot of new stuff.
some things that I don't like about the game so far:
-I already said that I think the new furniture that they *did* add was really cute, but I am very disappointed that they added so little and that most of the furniture is the same from VF2. I think it would've been nice if they just made a whole new collection of furniture; although that is hard to do. if they couldn't do that I just wish that they would've added more that way there's more to pick from and not just the same stuff. (even if they couldn't make a whole new collection of furniture on it's own for this game.)
-this is just my opinion, but I personally don't like the new animation style for the characters. we all know what VF2's animation looked like, and I just don't like how modern? the new style looks, I guess? I wish that the game looked more like VF2 as far as the animation style. & I mean that with *no* hate towards the creators of the game, I still think that the new style is very cute! it's just not what I was expecting, to be honest.
I feel kinda iffy about this game as a whole right now because I haven't had the chance to play it for myself; I'm still very excited about the game, because I've been waiting SOOO long for it. I feel like the potential for it is great because after all, it's still just a Beta and there is a LOT that can still be added to it. I like it more than I dislike it, I guess, & I'm really excited to see where it goes. :)
The points you made are spot on with how I feel about the game so far. What you said about the furniture--I totally agree! The new stuff they added is really cute and definitely seems like furniture/decor that me and everyone else would make use of. So why don't they add in some more? There isn't really any furniture/decor in the game (both vf2/vf3) that I dislike, LDW is good at making nice decorations, so just add in some more! lol I guess we'll just have to see if they add in more stuff in time for release and/or in future updates.

Maybe you can look at the Help Section to see if it tells you more about how to get rid of the ants or how to make the parents work. I haven't played for myself yet, so I haven't seen the Help Section & I don't know if it can actually tell you any of that. but it's worth a try. if not, I'm sure *someone* out there has made a video on it explaining how to get rid of the ants and all that. :)

So far, I really like the house potential & some other elements like bigger families, etc.
The lack of new decorations, furniture, etc however...

I'm new to the game, in general. I tried the original game n didn't like it, esp since I'm a lifetime "Sims" fan. ❤ the sims! This is a bit trickier. I literally had to find this video just to fig out wtf I'm even supposed to do. Lol I'm sure I'll get into it as I get used to it n fig out how to even play

To get rid of ants you need to drag them to the phone in the office and click "call exterminator"
I uninstall the game cuz I can't fix the sink but installing it again because I know that the phone will solve them.

You can call the plumber up on the phone, and they'll come fix the sink
I hate that you can’t really do anything when something’s wrong with the house. In the last game, I would finish up the other activities first and *then* fix the appliance. You can’t do that anymore here and it’s really annoying

Yes they can! They implemented it recently, when the game asks you to sign up for a dating website on the computer, you have the option to tick interested in boys or girls and you can marry the same sex!

I just got this for IOS but it’s sort of difficult to get started. I need a walkthrough but there isn’t one.
That is interesting, now that I think about it. VF1 & VF2 had walkthroughs but VF3 doesn't. I've received lots of help from everyone's comments in this series! If you need any help, you could always ask for help in the comments & either me or someone else will try to help!
How do you fix a burst pipe in the bathroom?
You’ll first need to upgrade your house to buy the workshop room. After that, there’ll be these hanging tools inside of it where you drag your character to so that they can fix the sink
Also, Idk if it works regardless of the career but just in case- the parent might be required to have a workshop career too for that to work. Bcus whenever it happened for me, both adults already had the workshop career. So if it *still* doesn’t work after upgrading, then their career might play a big factor as well

I can't put my grocery bags down so they can have food and some of my family already died and I still can't figure it out how do you put the grocery bags down
You should be able to drag the bags from your inventory to the kitchen table and they'll put them away
