New subscriber! Man, I love your wit and wisdom....an excellent teacher! I've been playing geetar for 42 years now and we never stop learning! Thank you!
Ty for this comment. Also to OP you should post a full play through of your covers if you have time. I know it's extra work but it'd be a great addition to your content
Ya he sings that note in the chorus....you dont expect it...at first you think...hmm and once your ear becomes accustomed to it... it's just hip.. great band
Thanks for the tutorial brother. It was as you said surprisingly easy. When I listened to it I felt I would have a hard time figuring it out, but after the tuning adjustment, and your fine teaching skills, I was able to play this in no time. Thanks again dude Stay safe ✌️† 🎸
Ryan Lendt Hendrix ... May this be love... which I always called waterfall ( maybe you’ve done it already). But I think there is another sound bite from the movie that’s trying to find its way out of my subconscious.... may have to watch the movie again for the 731st time .... which I will do in the name of this channel
Thank you sir!!! I am so, thankful that your part of my guitar influence to learn and never get stagnant. I appreciate your response on both my request! Thanks sincerely! How bout friends by RHCP's
You're welcome sincerely Gianes! and heck yes, friends! I've been grasping at a peppers song cause it's been so long, but none piqued my interest in the moment. i love that song
Eggggggxcellent lesson Ryan, at least way better than how I use to play It in standard tuning, lol. I thought you were breaking into “taking care of business” at 4:56, but in all seriousness....thank you 🤓
When I was tuning my guitar in order to learn this song my mini E string broke :( but well, you don't really need it so I learnt it anyway :D Thanks Ryan! Fun Fact: I made up a slide with a tiny glass bottle , surprisingly it kind of works hahahah
Great lesson!!! I thought that I heard some rolling stones Kieth Richards riff in there. I know everyone borrows from everyone, that's cool. Just sayin'. Anyways....... Happy New year to you and your family. May 2021 bring you prosperity happiness and peace.
pa. Awesome tutorials!!! My vote would be foo pleeeze do fighters everlong but I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth or bombard a cool RUclips Tutor Legend with requests - Thanks Weeez
Hi Ryan, For some reason youtube isnt letting me reply to your reply.. Just wanted to sat thanks again - I found your Everlong how to.. Epic number of tutorials you have BTW. Thanks dude! Weeez
Hmmm? This would appear to be one of those "evil songs" that will take some practicing to play! ;) Grrrrr. As always, thanx again for doing all the dirty wk. So I can take the credit for having learned it!! Ha!
@@RyanLendt I just wanna say I’ve been playing guitar for three years and i take in person lessons for the most part… I just recently in the last six months have searched RUclips and you are my favorite and only one I will take lessons from online!! You’re so great! I see you are a great teacher and it shows because I understand what you’re teaching online ..you explain everything so well…. I love your comedy you throw into it! You keep everything so fresh and fun and I’m learning more songs at my own pace! Thanks for being there!! online
Nick Croce this request is for YOU! Can you recommend the bestest easiest most satisfying Pearl Jam song I could learn .... on DRUMS.... please please and thank you ... “KIC-on drums”
C# is the #4 of G, not the b5 -- that'd be Db cuz the perfect 5 is D natural, which also appears in this song & ya can't have 2 different 5s in one simple melody.
@@RyanLendt Nope. Fret 2 of a properly tuned B string will always produce the same objective pitch, sure, but whether that pitch is C# or Db is a function of written context & the two are virtually never interchangeable. Main riff of Dancing Days uses G lydian scale, G-A-B-C#-D-E-F# -- as opposed to G-A-B-Db-D-E-F#, which is a really dumb scale with two conflicting 5ths, no 4th, no name, and the exact same set of pitch frequencies. Regardless, C# can never be the flat 5th of G unless the C we modifjed with an accidental somehow stops being its 4th -- only a D (the 5th) can be flattened to Db (the flat 5th).
As for your other question, nope again -- it's MisterRlGHT.
Been looking for a single gtr arrangement for YEARS.
God bless you, man.
Achoo! ahem. Thank you LSU :)

indeed, anything glass or metal will work to the extent that it is smooth and uniform. Way to triumph over your broken string Hernan!
