2010 Chevy Tahoe with 2 15” Nemesis Audio Subwoofers

- My past 2010 Chevy Tahoe showing the audio setup. The subwoofers are 2 15” Nemesis Audio Mystical Series mounted in a QBOMB ported box. The amp is a Nemesis Audio 3K 3000W with Nemesis Audio 4-gauge wiring kit. The downside was factory head unit and door speakers. But overall it was a clean install and hit good enough for me. Not the baddest out there but did the job. Enjoy the bass.

I've got some nemesis 12d2. Sound is not great. But good. Mostly depends on the box. Built a custom box to make them sound better. For the price though. You can get better subs. They definitely aren't under rated though. I blew them the first go around. Luckily the warranty covered them. Now I Mostly stick with dB, skar, sundown, and ds18. Most people knock skar. I found if you don't clip them though they can get loud and low. Budget wise hard to beat. Sundown and dB for ground pounding bass. Rf which I have in my f150. They still make great products. Just still pricey. Anyway nice video. Being nemesis is trying to make a comeback glad to see them being shown.
I agree with you. Nemesis wasn’t my first choice. I was thinking Sundown but they talked about comparing them to these so budget wise went with Nemesis. For the price I can’t complain but I could have done a Skar EVL setup for close to the same. May have been better but I was happy with these. Plus being in Texas (Dallas area) where they are distributed I wanted to support the brand. Can’t go wrong with any you mentioned. All depends on what you’re looking for and your budget. Yea man new head unit itll sound 10x better, I’m currently running the factory until in mines as well with step down but everybody tells me switch the head unit lol

Bro if you were to put them in a custom box say you reached out to Drew Jones from Basshaulics and paid for a design specific to your subs and vehicle then just build the box yourself and throw a 2nd "3k" that only is really about 900w if you're lucky after impedance rise then you'd be easily twice as loud and you might just benefit from getting a different amp altogether like a taramps smart 3k or bass3k and also when using an oem stereo they have a volume limiter system which cuts power the louder you turn the volume to not blow the factory speakers but a AudioControl lc2i has accubass which defeats that limiter for your sub amp makes it a lot cleaner for sure...
Nice man. When you get the custom box it will hit a lot deeper. That box is tuned really high.

Nice Tahoe! Isn't that a 1500W RMS amp? Any plans to get a voltmeter, how stable is your voltage, it it stock alt + battery? ... What receiver, speakers and amps are you considering?
Thank you. Yeah the amp is 1500W RMS @ 10hm. Never had a volt meter so didn’t check voltage. It was on stock alt/battery. I actually sold it so not considering anything further. Will be looking for another setup in the future. Just wanted to put up a video I’ve been meaning to post for awhile. Trying to upload more often. I appreciate the comment.

Turn your LPF down dont even turn that one up it just gets ur amp hot faster my boy thats from my experience in any set up i have done i have never touched the LPF i leave that one all the way down to get a nicer bass and not so much clipping but good job on the clean wiring and placement of amp sounds ok but it can sound way better trust me turn the LPF all the way down just mess with ur Gain, Subsonic, Bass Boost
If u keep the lpf all the way down, how you hitting frequency above 20hz?
Some good bass notes you're missing imo.
Lpf determines what bass note frequency is allowed to pass through the amp channel and be played by the sub. I don't go about 100hz on any of my shit cuz I ain't tryna have mid/hi notes come through. But I like the way 40- 60hz sweep tone sounds

I know the mic can distort and all but from outside it almost sounds like your clipping just a bit.
May have been. I didn’t have the amp really tuned in well and had the bass knob to the max. Really worked the subs here as you could smell as well.
Keep hatch shut unloading subwoofer not good for them
