I’m with you man I’d rather shoot a hand fitted and polished gun from the days when quality was first. And u can tell when someone’s never shot a sweet 16 or light 20 set up right. Now days crappy a$$ triggers and they do not shoot to point of aim….. stiff loading. I can’t understand. Do a video on the best dove guns ever made hands down lol. I’m not knocking yal at all just sucks we don’t get our moneys worth anymore
That Montefeltro is HANDS DOWN my #1 all-time wishlist shotgun. I wish to God I could afford that thing. It is, by far, the smoothest action I have ever felt on any long gun. You can literally pull that bolt back with judt a pinkie finger. Excuse me while I go find a bib to control my drooling over this gun.
I've owned over 20 Benellis. Not all Benellis shoot higher. It's a problem specific to the SBE3. Also, any Benelli with a 3" chamber instead of the SBE's 3.5" chamber will shoot light loads. I regularly shoot slow 1oz loads in my Benellis with ZERO issues.
Honestly Ive never really felt much difference in recoil with dove loads between my Beretta gas guns or the Benelli,Franchi or even Stoeger inertia guns Ive hunted with. Waterfowl or turkey loads you could feel a little more but not by much.
If a Shotgun cant shoot light-load shells, what good is it for Dove Hunting...?
I've always liked the setup & reliability of a Mossberg pump and at an affordable price..

Surprised that you did not include any over-unders.

The Montefeltro is one of Benellis least expensive.

Have to disagree on your thoughts on inertia guns not cycling light loads. The old A5s had issues but any modern inertia gun will cycle light loads.
Always been partial to the Remington 1100’s myself.
I have that same generation M2 field gun but honestly I like using my Ithaca 37 20 gauge more!
Never had problems with my sbe3 with light loads
Ill bring some real dove guns. Sweet 16!
