Hello, how do you get the angle of the bush correctly? I see how to take off and what direction . But how do I get it pressed on and have it seated at the correct angle? Thanks
Why wouldn't you take the arm off and replace all the bushings? The others are just as old as that one and, if not completely trashed yet, are well on their way. I am currently replacing all the bushings on my 2013 JGC using Superpro poly bushings, so I won't ever have to replace them again! This video has helped me with this particular bushing, because the arm was too big to get into my press and I wasn't sure how the heck I was going to get it out! Thanks!

In the USA each lower cast arm for the 2011-2014 grand Cherokee is about $360 from Mopar. At that price, would you recommend just replacing the entire thing? My 13 has 130k miles, and just finished an OME kit and HD upper front control arms. Still have a low speed clunk up front and I suspect this wishbone bushings. Wish I just did them when I had everything apart!

Why the fuck would car companies use this kind of pain in the ass bushings that tears very quick!! What happend to simple pressed bushings that outlast the cars life!!
Car company is Mercedes, Jeep WK uses Merc chassis. What rubber bush last cars life? Rubber deteriorates from exposure Salt air and constant stresses from suspension movements.
hi, if when they fit any bushings, and the rubber is under twisting tension, this is what prematurely wears out the bushing or causes the rubber to split or come away from the sleeve. this happens often when mechanics do these kind of repairs on 2 post hoist and suspension is hanging down and when they don`t tension up bushing when the suspension is at normal resting position. cheers
