1:24 Even before a point was hit I was rooting for that Chinese kid just because he doesn't seem too obsessed about equipment!! Oldish racquet, doesn't know what the string are etc. I love that! Kudos to that little kid for doing the translating! 🙂
Congrats to Sid for keeping his mental toughness in a tough match against an opponent who hit way, way bigger and came out hard. In the face of a hostile crowd in his own home no less. Go USA and go SID!
He has a big forehand but Sid starting going at his backhand more and I think that strategy really worked. Sid's touch was great with the drops and he came to net to finish and get faster/easier points. Great quality match between 2 very talent tennis juniors.
Pretty amazing to see Yaoyu use like a 10 year old racket to play Sid. LOTS of power but I'm sure his control will come with time. Nice comeback by Sid. Props to the young translator but was hoping to see you speak some Mandarin Winston! 😂
Huge hitting from Yaoyu! He definitely has a high ceiling so I'm looking forward to seeing him on the tour in the future (with Siddharth too!) Difference really was just intelligent point construction from Siddharth. Big brain plays.
i think the chinese guy has more future potential bcos he jsut has bigger shots, once he learns how to add a little more spin on those forehands so they dip a little more at the bassline. he will be lethal
Youngest translator of all time
Watching Yaoyu feels like watching a young superhero who doesn't understand how to control his powers yet. Super fun set.
Let’s give the young translator some kudos!! 🎉👏🏼🙂

Little translator kid is probably around 7 yrs old and was like I can beat either of these two guys. 😂😂

Little guy is prolly his coach.
Winston, do all the people in the audience work for you?
No lol
How old is the translator?
very young
@WinstonDu lol that's the most impressive part of the video
Should have played real set. No-ad is no good. Would have been more interesting
