Very good video. I owned one of these for a few years in the 90s, they’re amazing. I’m considering getting another one!!
That’s lovely , I hope you find a good example . Thanks for appreciating the video
Beautiful! I just bought one that looks exactly like this a few days ago same exhaust and everything almost identical. Wonderful bike and is a beast on the road! Happy riding 😎
Wow , really . Rare to have same exhausts too
I am going to get it fully serviced in a week or two and then get it out properly
Weather should be nice this bank holiday weekend
Love this bike
looks like you found a very nice example. The late 80’s and 90’s sportbikes are bringing crazy money these days. I do restoration paint work on them and am so happy there getting the respect they deserve and being brought back to there oem glory. Another great video and looking forward to seeing the bike go through your mini transformation.
Thank you very much mate
I am so glad you appreciate these models
I love the whole retro scene
Not only it’s investment
But it’s stunning to ride & a pleasure to own
Where can I sell mine for crazy money. 93 cbr 1000
Awesome video man, been riding a xvs650 cruiser for the past few years and I'm actually about to get my own cbr1000f, such an amazing bike🤘.
Brilliant mate, you would love that CBR
It’s just a comfy bike with so much decent grunt off the line
It’s amazing
Hope you enjoy it
Thanks for the comment mate
Thanks Abhi. Very entertaining and took me down memory lane as this was the same bike I owned once upon a time 😎
Wow, really, I only went on a long ride once last weekend and it rides superbly
Absolutely sublime smooth power and there’s plenty of it too and the seat & ergonomics are just perfect
Another great video again Abi. Fantastic that you've purchased a little piece of your childhood memory to cherish along your biking journey.
I love the inclusion of the Black Country heritage. Historical bike unveiled around Black Country history.. brilliant! Being a fellow Black countryman myself with the intro footage of the drone around the Castle and The Priory ruins was great to watch. Keep it up mate and I'll see you soon.👍🏻
Aiden
I really knew you would love it mate
I know you are Black Country through & through :)
Thanks for the lovely detailed comment
This is a great video!!! Love the mix of personal story and one of the coolest bikes on the planet.
Thank you very much for appreciating what I was trying to depict, love it :)
Now I want (read- must have!) one of these bikes. See what you've done!!!
@@vintagebikes4215 haha, it’s addictive
Another great video. I recently purchased a 1991 Ducati 907ie for a $100. The styling is definitely dependent upon the cbr1000f. You have a beautiful bike there mate. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks Will , very nice of you mate
I really loved the retro styling and the Ducati 907 is a timeless design too
Hopefully they all appreciate in value
These bikes are brilliant all rounders, I'm on my third one, and after 51 years on bikes, and numerous superbikes, these are definitely up there, enjoy.
I totally agree with you Stephen , it’s a stunning bike
love love the retro smell of this video. i did not realized that you were versed into vintage bikes-stuffs and the 1000cc cbr you scored is in great shape at first glance.. for me,it's the CB1100F and the CBX at honda, the KZ1300 6pots and their 500 and 750 triple 2 strokes at kawasaki ,GSX-R 1100 1986'' at suzuki . that is pretty much it as for the japanese oldies i'd like to catch one day.
i don't know how many bikes you owns right now,but maybe a video of your collection would be cool .
I only have 3 at the moment , the Aprilia , the triumph & this one.
I love the CBX 1000
But it’s so so expensive now
That’s always been a dream bike
I’ll definitely a video showing all the bikes
That’s a good idea
Awesome drone footage of the castle and abbey 😃
One of my old neighbours had a CBR1000F, lovely bike. I think he traded it in for a Norton AF1, he had some lovely cars back in the day too!
Awesome to start to collect movie motorcycles! 😃
It looks to be a fine example, I hope you have many miles of pleasure from it Abhi, nice one.
Thank you so much mate
I really enjoyed editing this video
Really wanted to add as many local quirks as possible
Bike is sublime to ride
Really comfy & smooth
I did 110’miles on it in one go and didn’t even feel it
Thanks for the detailed comment
A great video, and great taste for motorcycles you have!
Thanks Bruno , very nice comment , much appreciated
Lovely bike, I have 3 of them.
One is a year older than yours. and one is the same year. I love them all
Wow that’s amazing
Lucky you and all credit to you that you keep these appreciation classics running and in good shape . Many are neglected which breaks my heart
One of my kind of video😬 love the making and Hrithik Bike❤️❤️ one of my favourite 🤩 #loveforbollywood 🤗 #chasingtenths🤟
Thank you so much lol
I loved that movie when it came out
Nice video. Have the same bike. And I absolutely love it. You are SO spot on, with the feeling from Our past. I Saw a motobike magazine in 1989 ..18 gears old.. and it was love at first sight." I would never afford one.."
BUT... now I have had 4 of them.. 🙂🙂 🇩🇰
Wow, that’s unbelievable..4!! Superb
Thanks for the kind words , I am glad you and me have the same sentiments on this , superb nostalgic bike
Such a refined gentleman's express that CBR , Triump made such a glorious comeback with the Speed Triple and all the fantastic bikes that had that triple. In the desert here I could ride that big CBR like a bullet train...lol
@@paulscountry456 hahaha Paul, love that comment . Fantastic
@@ChasingTenthsReally im a Japanese bike guy but I have ridden Triumph even old ones like daytona 1200 , Sprint and Speed triple and the quality and robust motors really competes with the Japanese or nearly.
@@paulscountry456 totally agree with you , I have a triple Daytona 900 super 3 from 1993 and I absolutely love it . Really really robust , really rides well and ones it gets up to speed , it’s just superb. I have done a mini documentary on my channel on the triumph Daytona 900 in association with triumph themselves from Hinckley and cosworth
I bought a 1990 model last week and rode it home from Warwickshire. Lovely old motorcycle. Completely original and in mint condition.
Wow, fantastic , I tried to start mine yesterday after a while , I need a new battery , I was so looking forward to the ride because the ride on these are truly amazing
What a cool bike. I need to get a classic…. Good video man 🥰
You definitely need a classic in your life
I think it will calm me down
Otherwise I am riding like my pants are on fire all the time
You can remove the stone chip black from mirrors with colgate regular toothpast...has calcium diphosphate, very nine pumice. Use dampened cloth, then clean and polish.
David , this is perfect timing for your comment
I was going to do a massive cleaning mission this weekend
So I will certainly do that
Really enjoyed watching that. Nice purchase ❤️
Thanks mate :)
Much appreciated
Great video, bike looks mint for its age very well looked after 👍😊
Thanks Neal, I am pleasantly surprised too
Let’s hope I keep it that way lol
That bike has aged very well. The blemishes are expected for that age. Very cool!
Cheers mate
Thank you for the lovely comment
Picked up a bit of a basket case of an 88 CBR1000f Hurricane, but everything was there, besides paint, and soon new tires, the only thing I had to purchase was a used CDI from eBay for $80. 6,064k miles $500 couldn’t pass it up. Great video
Wow Rick, that’s amazing
You can’t go wrong with that
Nice one
Cheers for watching
Looking forward to this journey
🏴 love from Scotland 🏴
Thank you very much …
Absolutely love Scotland
Spent 14 years working for RBS :)
You might remember me from a few hours ago about the agv retro helmet comment that I came across your channel... Well, I did not find the part where you comment more about the helmet but does not matter I watched the Suzuki purchase video along with the one where you got your license and now with this one and got to tell you not sure if you do all the recordings, editing, footage etc by yourself or if you get help from other parties but the channel is SUPERB!!!! On this one the editing músic used while the shot at the railroads before the museum shots was just perfect and right in place and of so much good taste 😃✌🏻.
Is a total crime the "little" number of subscribers for the quality of your material.
Very happy to have found your channel, cheers ✌🏻
Hi Al, here is the video link where I talk about the AGV , but watch from 10 min onwards and you will see my remarks on the AGV retro Legends Helmet ruclips.net/video/FeQBwZwxI7M/видео.html
And yes, I do all the editing myself and match the music to the scenes and everything lol , thank you for the lovely words mate , they mean a lot to me , really really appreciate your words, these days Subscribers are hard to come by , so I rely genuine viewers like you to spread the word to other like minded individuals about the channel, thank you. feel free to ask me anything about the helmet, so sorry for the late reply , I have been so busy with racing and the prep .
I have just bought a ‘91 with 23k miles (delivery due this Friday).. I have a fair few bikes, but I’ve always wanted the big CBR since I started riding as a teen in the early 90s. Looking forward to scratching the itch & delivery. Ride safe. 😎👍🏼
Thats brilliant , sorry for the late reply , I hope you have received your bike and are having some summer fun.. it's a fabulous bike to ride
@@ChasingTenths No worries 👍🏼 Yep, I have changed the oil/filter as I do with all my bikes before use. It’s insured, mot’d and taxed. I am just waiting on a new battery as the one fitted when delivered wasn’t the best. Once that’s delivered, hopefully I’ll get to ride it this weekend. Looking forward to it.
@@waynester71 that’s brilliant , I also had to buy a new battery last week. Then bought a smart charger , learnt s lesson on battery maintenance . Have fun 🤗
Love this bike and the bollywood reference.. classic 👌🏼
Cheers mate
Had to purchase this otherwise I would have regretted it lol
Woww such an awesome video , after long .. This was really an interesting video mate. Carry on 👍🏻
Thank you very much
Just launched the same video in Hindi too on Hindi channel because you always requested in Hindi too
That’s great. I really appreciate your’s work mate.. Stay Bless
Lovely video 👍thank you for sharing
No problem mate, much appreciate that you enjoyed it
Thanks for this. A friend of mine is currently selling one of these and I am considering it. I would have to get rid of my current bike (Thundercat) but I've always had a soft spot for old litre bikes. Decisions, decisions.
I know exactly how you feel , I really want to buy that topgun bike, Kawasaki.. but I have to put a stop somewhere otherwise I'll be bankrupt lol... these Hondas are amazing , so beautiful to ride.
looks a really clean bike!
Thank you mate, it’s very clean for its age
Great channel brother and content ☝️very entertaining .
Thanks very much mate for the appreciation
Great video, now i need to go to this museum 😑😂
Hahaha
It’s a fantastic place mate , it’s much more than what I showcased in the video . Cheers for watching & commenting
Abhi mate that was a veeery different video from you!! But still really really enjoyable 😁
That bike looks absolutely spot on for its age a cracking buy there, hope you get to enjoy it plenty 🏍️👍 Thanks for sharing mate, was a good journey 🙂
Thanks Gareth , glad you liked it mate and it’s truly nice to see that some people truly love bikes from this era
Thanks for the lovely comment
@@ChasingTenths I loved the late 80's and 90's bikes then and still do now, the 400's were my fave (had two NC30's and a ZXR400) but stupidly sold them and replaced them with newer bigger things over time 🤦🏻 I always wanted a ZX7R though and never managed to own one, still time I suppose 😉 l
Keep the videos coming Abhi👍
Hey Abhi, good on you for purchasing that old relic. Back in 89 I purchased a used red Kawasaki RX1000R cos I wanted to look like 'Maverick' in Top Gun - hahaha! And what a beast it was, it went like a bullet train and weighed nearly as much, but boy did it fly. The one great thing about all these 'oldies' is their lack of onboard tech, making them a lot more reliable. In 2021 I am just in love with modern machinery and I'm sure you know which machinery I am talking about.
Apologies for the late reply Gio , sometimes I don't get notified on comments, Yes, you are absolutely spot on , these old bikes are simple but so much character , the sound , the whole theatre of riding is superb. I really wanted to buy the top gun bike but I bought something else instead , watch out for that video soon. Thanks for the lovely detailedd comment and I truly appreciate you watching my videos mate
@@ChasingTenths aw that is so nice Sir👍🏻 hoping you have a flying 2022. I absolutely love your content and totally understand how busy and hectic it can get from filming to editing. Hope to see you on track this year
@@verdeboyo thank you Gio , absolutely look forward to seeing you and thank you for your wishes and kind regards
Top stuff Abhi..I got mine after watching MI2 😆
Oohhh yeah
That’s a proper nice bike
The original mi2 triumph is siting at the triumph museum in Hinckley
You should go there sometimes
Wow what a bike great piece
Thank you :)
thank from john i bought one 2 years ago 51000 miles on hear , it had 13 owners , the guy had used it for 4 years in all weather .well lots of work new cam chain tensioner from germany new cils plugs wheels powder coated .new lithium battery headers nuts replast used kymco head nuts 7mm.do not try and remove the nuts use a burre to gring them of it will take some time but its worth it, some work to the firing . this you 2023 on the road ,back foot rest rust sorted it as 4 into one ok for me .looks 10 times better than it did. goes well no smoke no loss of oil. i left it for a year even the battery was fully charged it stated first go .i after say a really well made bike. age is catching up on me some day some one mite end up with it .
That’s so beautifully said John
They truly are beautifully made
Mine hadn’t missed a beat once
Amazing smooth ride as if it’s running on double cream
I know exactly what you mean!! I bought my ZX-11 because I fell in love with it when I saw the movie New Jack City.
Absolutely, there are certain things which get stuck in our minds and it’s hard to forget them and when the right time comes we go and find it and get it.
Glad we have same sentiments mate
That so true!! I actually clicked on your video because I've wanted a CBR1000F since I was in my early teens. And well, that was sparked by a Honda commercial for the Hurricane.
When the voiceover guys said, "Even the Ninja must hide from a Hurricane", I knew I had to have one at some point in life.

@@behindbarsmototouring898 hahaha I need to see that advert
no helmet proper Bollywood :D . I can totally relate to these childhood dreams. mine are Yamaha RD350, Ducati 999, Maruti Gypsy, Willy's Jeep.
Proper classic stuff mate, I nearly bought a 999 last year but looked at service intervals and all those timing belts put me off. My dad still has an old Willy jeep , good simple times those were . Really simple and no nonsense days, cheesy for sure lol
Great bike buddy
Thank you mate, it’s getting serviced today , so going to take it out for a few rides and make some videos , haven’t made any videos since that day on this bike
you're gonna make me buy one of these....
You are the 4th person telling me this after this video
Honestly , best bike for what they are worth now
Mine has a phew blemishes but rides like as if it’s running on double cream
thats the best bike i ever owned...... _exhilarating_
I totally agree with you , I have one or two more retro bikes and this one this just superb to ride and it’s got plenty of punch too

Thank you very much, I have actually just come home from a very long trip on this bike
It was so comfortable

@@ChasingTenths great to finally get a ride out, hopefully get my brother's Kawasaki GPZ900R sorted for mot soon, get a ride out on it before weather gets bad. Nice ride to Ponderosa near Llangollen planned. Those CBR's are soooooo smooth, rebuilt the leaky forks on a friend's CBR1000 easy job, he loves his. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@vazza7504 that’s fantastic , my luck has been so bad on that ponderosa cafe , I always get fog and rained on lol
The GPZ is my all time favourite bike
@@ChasingTenths lol, it always rains in Wales, just wait ten minutes for the next lot of rain. 😄 Stunning rides around that area, being in Liverpool it's all half hours ride away. Yes, probs my number one bike too is the GPZ900R, had a few myself including identical 750R. His is the original A1 model, 1984 was mint but left by him in a damp nasty shed along with a mint Yamaha YZF750R in Haga race colours, both were in a terrible state, being abandoned for several years. Shed was black with mold, roof ready to collapse and rain pouring in. 😟😟😟 Brought them on a trailer to my house, been fettling them for most of this summer. Not a painter by any stretch of the imagination but had to repair his fuel tank, rust underneath had taken hold and creeped up around the front to top of tank near headstock. Got a rattle spray match at a paint shop, did a cracking job repairing it, great match on paint too. I made a RUclips video of the rescue and result. Search Kawasaki GPZ900R fuel tank repair. Can see his YZF in video too, my YZF is in shed next to another bike of his, Honda VFR750 my YZF in limbo while I sort his bikes out.😟😟😟 VFR is ready for mot now at least.
@@vazza7504 wow , well done on that , you seem to have done really well on that project, I will just search that video now
Never say never hehehe only kidding mate, it’s nice to have a classic in the mix nice purchase 👍🏽

I am sorry, are you able to translate that in English. It doesn’t let me copy and paste it into google translate
Ok
.
Java is a very popular motorcycle in Russia, my grandfather had a Java 350, brand new, in a crate box and I was small, walked and licked around it and every time I looked at the chrome tank on the sides, I felt dizzy. Now I have 3 retro bikes: Ural, Dnepr and Honda cbr1000f.
