People saying how weird it is to see Dr. Buck smile but the real anomaly here is her actually caring about upsetting her colleague.
She's **cold** but not heartless. If talking about the story upsetter him or disturbed him, he wouldn't be able to preform his job effectively.
She seems to be more cynical about SCP’s themselves she just cold with humans but ultimately does care.
I think she's just trying to keep his story classified
Dr. Buck's cold shell is her armor against the realities of the Foundation and working with SCP's. If you watch it's not uncommon to see a glimpse of her caring about what happens to her co-workers.

@TotallyNor he's trying to say the characters are cliched and lack depth. Personally, for an anthology series that's meant to focus on the SCPs I think it works great to have more stereotypical characters talking about them as the framing device.

I think he saw himself behind the goggles, or atleast, his own Ego manifested. My reasoning is, "King of the Mountain", "Being ungrateful" and the "Images of all those people who were once warm and happy, but now cold and dead" are all linked to the egotistical decision to embark upon the journey to conquer Everest. He did it to feel better about himself, to feel strong (or whatever his own personal reasons were), it was to accomplish something great which would ultimately make him feel great, or, feel like a "King" in his own right. King of his life, even at the expense of his colleague's lives. The willingness to endanger others to achieve a personal goal can be linked to the "Coldness that I have never felt before", and the "Being ungrateful" can be linked to the rejection of the "Warmth and happiness" for the sake of Self-actualization.
Just a thought 🤷🏻♂️

I remember the time where I was walking to school in my favorite jacket, sweater, pants, and boots(all being oversized to let me grow into) with my hood up and then my mom had forgotten something so she had to run back to our house to get the item so I just kinda stood there with my sh*t. I kinda started to overheat and I started to think “tf why is it so sweaty??” But then again, it was like at least -5 degrees Fahrenheit. I physically beaded sweat before my mom came back and we got going again

This is the best video yet. Animation looks great, story is simple yet interesting, sound and audio is clean and the characters personalities are fluid with both development and individuality. Very well done. Can’t wait for next week’s episode.
Also I can’t just not say that I love the moments with Dr. Buck (Does anyone remember the Bigfoot episode where they reveal that her first name is Amelia?) smiling. Nice to see that foundation life hasn’t stripped ALL of her happiness and compassion away.
Plus Agent Green is quickly becoming my 2nd favourite character behind Dr. Buck, he speaks with almost no variation in his voice yet displays so much emotion and personality. I love it.
