The expanded blood vessels make you feel warmer when you are actually freezing.

That reminds me of the stories of people seeing this guy wearing an old school gasmask and carrying I think an axe (it's been a long time since I've heard that story) on hiking trails. Very creepy in my opinion.

I like Lord Bung his animations are great, but Confinement is more of a comedic take, while this channel has that Animal Planet Documentary style to it, showing how spooky some SCPs are, I don't watch the other animated channels only The Exploring Series, which he doesn't do exclusively SCPs but I like the videos he does on it even though it's mostly just him reading the entry off the website and giving his thoughts on each one.
in my opinion? the scp is arrogant and conceited. he believes that he is helping in some twisted way, but drops the pretences if he’s insulted in any way. it also seems like he was lying about the ‘gift’ based on his scare attempt, of that one guy.
Given how it told the survivor about a gift, it's most likely letting people die peacefully and warm as opposed to cold and probably in pain to the other 3 scps on that mountain
There are some rumors in the SCP Wiki page that there is a connection between *SCP-096 (Shy Guy)* & this *King Of The Mountain* SCP, it seems like Scp-1529 was the reason why the shy guy became what he is today.
Given how that mountain has 3 other keter scps, and that this specific one claimed to be giving a "gift". I think it just wants people to die feeling warm and happy instead of slowly freezing to death or dying to the other keter entities on that mountain

He kept doing this until he became a husk. then I think the now scp 096 got a hallucination that everyone was the king of the mountain. Scp 096 wanted revenge. He attacked anyone that looked at him. The feeling of warmth is likely due to a symptom of hypothermia where you get so cold you begin to feel warm and, in normal cases, begin to strip down due to the intense feeling of heat and delerium (probs spelled wrong) from the cold

It's impossible. At altitude higher than 8000m (death zone) you pass out very quickly because of no oxygen. THIS GUY WAS SO STRONG!
