Facts
Not bashing the channel, but this story is not a creation of Bob; this origin story has been kicking around for a while. Again, not digging on Doc Bobbo; just clarifying he did not come up with this narrative. He just made awesome animation to grab our interest and get more people aware of it. .
Edit before it it gets pointed out, I reword to mention that yeah, he did come up with the characters in the story. The part I was speaking of, specifically was the 106 soldier origin part. The rest of the video is all Dr Bob original.

As a fan of Dr. Bob since the wee early days of only a few thousand subscribers I am just in awe at how far the channel has come. This is easily my favorite rendition of this origin story.

Love how you combined two different 106 origin stories and made them into one story. The soldier story and the Scranton story are two separate potential origins that arent meant to tie-in to each other, but Dr. Bob did them both justice.

This strangely more horrifying than either story on their own. It’s like Robert joined with the man from the other universe, the soldier, and then truly lost himself! Good job!
Not to mention the art style hits different. It filled me with a fear that no other SCP art has. This is quite the change a pace, and it’s one hell of a thriller.
Merging both ww1 and Dr. Scranton theory is fun. Kinda makes sense, maybe Dr. Scranton did enter into a pocket detention that represents ww1 that finaly made him into the old man
It's epic to see this. Not quite often we know about these SCPs . Most channels will replay old already told ones. or have them go against another already told scp. Dr.Bob doesn't tell already covered ones we've never were told about. Thank u
To me it seems like he went crazy and imagined everything about the war, but it’s possible that when he gained the ability to walk through walls he left the place he was originally trapped in, which is how he’s able to know how bullets can’t hurt him. So the “war” was a imagination and reality.
Well i think he went crazy and since this is his pocket universe so hes basically god there so he cerated the war and the people there and also he created an alter ego of the corporal that went insane and turned into the scp 106
You made 682 look like a true monster in the small segment he was in. Paired with the grumble audio, it painted a great picture of what it would be like to be there in person, looking down on such a huge creature
Dr Bob is talented that he Can change his voice and instantly sound like a woman, an Old lady, an Old man, or just a diffrent man.

The lore around the Old Man is one of the most interesting as well as haunting in the SCP universe
I prefer the Corporal story better, it represents him better as an "evil incarnate character", rather than the some poor soul driven mad and psychotic from isolation.
The way you combined the two origin stories is perfection. The rotting of Scrantons mind and the Corporals disintegration into madness, the creation of one of the most feared anomalies in SCP history..bravo.

My theory on this is either Robert starts to hallucinate being in a war, or 106 was a war veteran and somehow made it to the pocket dimension, and when he found Robert there he slowly started to possess him thus making them one

As much as I love the work you do Dr Bob, you did a great job merging the 106 origin stories into a cohesive story, I still prefer the WW1 origins story the best.

Really? I haven’t seen much of an improvement. All of the animation is just bending and stretching images. These are really good videos but personally I don’t like the animation, but its probably because im an animator myself, so who knows.
I loved who you have depicted 106 the story was a really nice combination of both the origin stories and also the other scps in this where amazing, 682 and 939 in this video were done really well and are probably my favourite design for them.
Also I noticed that 343 looks a lot like Zeus from gow

I love the scp explained videos the most. With someone's story of encountering them, and then explaining how it's contained, treated, and classified. But this is also such a cool video, keep it up Mr. Bob!
I know that many people like the story of the origin of Corporal Lawrence, but personally I like this story about the origin of 106 more, perhaps because they have given it more continuity over the years and that they also knew how to relate it to other SCPs, In my opinion, that gives it a certain touch that makes it look more... I don't know, I'm between consistent or accurate, because I really think it fits and it's tragic enough to be the origin story of 106, plus it explains some of Its powers.
Love the merger of 2 origin stories, and this could work with how vast the SCP multiverse is

The Robert Scranton story is sad and messed up. But it's a good tale.
I think mainly because this is what, I think, would happen realistically if a situation like this was a real occurrence. How people might actually act. Especially when anomalously altered, which there would be no way his brain chemistry would be the same.
