I've had the same rig 700 for almost 5 years now and it still works like it did when I first unboxed it .they are awesome I payed like 75 80 bucks for it on black Friday I think they was 149.99 at Wal-Mart during the time . But yeah it's got a boom mic that can detach or swing upwards to the side to mute quickly it is wired and the wire is a bit thin but the speakers are great and support 3d surround audio you can hear the lowest lows and even at max the highest highs aren't deafening overall for a mid priced headset I give it a 11/10 would def recommend over and over
Also mind you 3 of those nearly 5 years my son has been playing with it and even trying to chew on it here and there yet it's still golden now he's a bit older and likes to wear it and it even adjusts to perfectly fit his head so that's another plus
I had the old RIG800 HDs for PC and now their volume is broken, battery lasts much less than when it was new but I love this thing! so light and easy on ears, while I have tried most of new gaming headeset designs, I still find the old design cool and lowkey. so today I bought the 800 Pro V2 which has dock charging. very excited
I had the RIG 800 on Xbox One X and they were my favorites. I've had astro A50s, top of the line Steel series, all of the expensive ones and the 800s blew me away
I’m so confused because I remember getting this headset in 2019 and it was a completely different design it was way better but I got them again now and they have changed completely I still like them I tried to google it but couldn’t find anything

I can’t believe they would promote such a rubbish headset!! Trust me spend your money on better from Logitech , Hyperx or Astro don’t waste your money on this garbage
I've been using my (Plantronics) RIG Headset (Esports Edition) for 7 years, and they still work fine (Im not using the mic anymore, since I bought a boom mic). They even have 2 different types of earcups, one light & airy for summer, and one heavier but with better noisecancelling for winter... they sound amazing, and I think that was the best money I Have ever spent on any electronics devices ever. Sadly Nacon bought the rights now from Plantronics, and Im not sure if they are offering the same quality nowadays, but Im willing to give it a shot
My old cloud alpha started to actually rotten ( the rubber started to melt or something) just needed some headset for the weeken and bought the 400hs in a mall near home for 20€ and lemme say the sound quality is pretty good and mic is miles better than the hyperx one...by A LOT. Also they are extremely light and confortable....for 20€? They are a steal.

I got the 800s lile 5 years ago and they still are great, it keeps turning on and off randomly so im gonna get a new set but they still sound great

Astros are garbage hurt my ears love my Logitech g933 but also my son has the rig 800s no complaints and to be honest more comfortable than my g933
