I couldn’t find any instructions after my contractor was finished installing this expensive thing. Thanks to you, I just followed your instructions and now getting the maximum hot water! Really appreciate it. Yes, C at 12 is the best setting for max hot water.
My plumber/handyman installed my delta valve. Would the same apply to Delta T-27859 ? I'm hesitant to pull too hard on the temperature knob... don't want to break it.
Thanks for explaining this valve. My dad had one installed and its unreal how much the valve and trim cost. Have you ever had trouble with hot and cold water crossing and ended with lukewarm water for the entire house with these valves ? Thanks.
Happy to do it, if it only helps one person 👌 But no I've never heard of a valve causing the whole house to be a certain temperature, that would be a very strange phenomenon. Might want to call in a plumber.
The first problem I had with your video is, when you are showing how to remove the "plastic handle", your hand gets in the way and we can't see what you are doing. The second critique is you need more lighting in order for us to see the small detail.
When I'm on low pressure (15% pressure), the water comes out warm/hot even though I have the temp knob turned to cold, but then once I crank up to 25% pressure, the water then comes out cold like it should. Any thoughts?
I don't know what the problem could be but there's always going to be static pressure on both the cold and the hot side, so the hot side would obviously be mixed up with the cold that comes out at first... once you have more volume coming out then the cold is easy to Tamp down the hot
I don't know because I don't know what you perhaps did wrong but I would take the shower head off and see if maybe the screen in the shower head is clogged up and just run the water straight through the neck rather than the shower head, you might find your pressure back and that in fact the shower head is clogged

I cannot thank you enough for this. We remodeled our bathroom and couldn’t figure out why our shower didn’t have hot water. Lol. Thanks ☺️
Thank you! PDF instructions were down on the site so this helped me fix it
I have not been able to figure this out but watching this video should do it, thanks so much
Thank you so much! You saved me time off from work and money on a plumber!
hey man thanks for doing that video, I got the same valve and you helped to confirm my connections and the plug.
I just figured it out then I seen this lol. Nice video.
Fyi just watched this a year after posting thanks a ton winters coming needed more hot water haha
Thanks. Mine was installed incorrectly and the Delta instructions are confusing.
The R22000 is the valve body not the cartridge. You're adjusting the cartridge.
THANK YOU!!!!
THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS. Instructions really sucks

That adjust safety stop doesn't critically need to be in there at all. I install those all the time and still get confused every freaking time
Hello!!! I need your help

Well give me your address and I'll send you a refund for how much you spent to watch it, because I don't make one penny from any of my videos

how can I adjust the flow in this cartridge? Brand new install and shower has poor flow............

Do you have to have the water off to do this procedure?
No you do not mainly because you are not taking out the cartridge, but I believe the r22000 has separate shut offs for both hot and cold anyway
Show the diverter assembly and install
Hmm pretty early on this one ha
Impossible to see wtf this guy is doing with those huge fingers in the way of seeing anything
If making similar videos, use a CHROME device verses BLACK. Black is difficult to see.
You're lucky he even made one with black
@@Spencer-ym5lx Some people just wouldn't understand.
Every person says, "the ring says hot and cold" what if your ring doesn't have hot or cold labeled?
This applies to the Delta r22000, I can't speak to what you have, they are not all created the same
