  • I really like this valve because it has its own shutoff valves. This makes the maintenance on this valve very easy. When it’s time to work on the cartridge, there is no need to shut the water off to the entire house. Take a look at how these internal shut off valves work and how to adjust the water temperature.

No video for how you removed the faceplate though .

Faceplate is attached to the valve body with two long screws. Hope this helps.

When you installed the stops, did you notice that while twisting the screw driver to the right, you come to a stopping point before the stop is fully inserted into the hole, but if you turn the screwdriver a little bit harder, you’ll be able to keep twisting your screwdriver, until the stopper is fully inserted? Is the first stopping point where the stopper is just screwed into where it keeps the water from leaking out of the diverter behind the wall and then the second stopping point is where the stop is actually stopping the water flow into the diverter? I’m trying to figure out how far the stopper needs to be twisted in and still have the water flowing through the diverter

I am assuming you are referring to the MultiChoice valve which has built-in stops. If so, as the stop screw is turned clockwise, the resistance for the first few turns is less than the last few. The resistance increases once the seals are about 80% engaged, stop is almost closed. As for the diverter question, I cannot comment. I’ve only installed these valves for shower. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately due to the design of the valve, the max hot water setting is the best you can do.
