The best pikmin RUclipsr is back again! Recently just watched these shorts for the first time after remembering when I nearly bought them on the Wii U back in the day so good timing on this one. A video on pikmin cave music ranking would be awesome as I feel the odd, atmospheric and uniqueness of the pikmin 2 cave music is massively under appreciated!

In the intro that was shown for the trailer for the shorts the winged and rock pikmin were replaced with red pikmin, again to not spoil the existence in pikmin 3. Another reason for why they aren't in the shorts could be that the rock and winged pikmin weren't finalised when the shorts were in prodcution, I mean animation takes a pretty long time, and the shorts were only released about a year after pikmin 3, so I doubt they could've made the shorts in that short time frame.

Depending on when the shorts were made, the rock and winged pikmins designs might not have been finalized yet, thus needing to be left out of the shorts. If it's not that then ask the next bug you find, I don't know.

I have never liked the direction the pikmin series has taken, where despite the pikmin franchise taking a bare minimum of a million years in the future and humans have long since gone exist, yet there are still unburied and undestoryed large manmade objects in pristine left in the world. occupation hazard is the most Blatant not-caring-about-world-building moment the series had seen yet, with a normal looking backhoe being the set piece for the short movie which should be a pile of rust by now or atleast buried half underground.

Ok, first of all, the Pikmin short movies on 3DS has really good image quality and the 3D makes it look as gorgeous as the HD counterpart. It even has extra 3DS exclusive shorts and the small screen thing shouldn't be a valid issue, as most people upgraded to a 3DS XL at that point.
