    Shawn great video! The critters are a nice touch. I have seen split screens explained several different ways. I agree, this is the "Best & Right Way".

    Yo. New to your channel, but subbed now. I have done the process this Transform+Crop tutorial lays out, but this was so organized, it makes even more sense to me now. And excited by the *Save as Preset* part! Def gonna build that out. Also, the other way I do this sort of thing, is with the Opacity layer mask instead of the Crop. That's good for diagonal and non-traditional crops, and also, using the Transform effect within that, allows for zooming within the static crop. (ie. showcasing multiple still artworks or photographs, in my case)

    • @ThisGuy
      @ThisGuy  3 года назад +1

      Yes. I actually have a few more split screen videos planned for the near future, one is for diagonal splits (which will talk about the method you mention above (I'll add the zoom part maybe now too) and another method, the other video is about animating basic "rectangle" splits (with borders). Thanks for the support! 👍

      Shawn Dolinski it reminds me of your classes. That’s why I really like them. Mixed with your sense of humour. (Eg. the dragon for “Drag on”)

    I figured out how to add the splits as presets....what would be the way to create those same presets but with colored border....would I add a white line shape layer and when selecting the transform, crop....also add the shape to the preset?

    I have a question. . .I've seen the but while doing the split screen, how do I do a transition effect that affects just on of the videos and not both?

    • @ThisGuy
      @ThisGuy  3 года назад

      Check out the 1:30 mark of this video ruclips.net/video/TnOjO3XO3Rg/видео.html ...then once you've put your new clip in the timeline apply any transition as you normally would. Let me know if this answers your question?

    While doing this how do I pause one video until the other one is finished? I can’t figure out how to not have them playing at the same time.

    • @ThisGuy
      @ThisGuy  3 года назад +1

      Look up how to do a frame hold...I think this is what you're asking...if not let me know

      Listen man , if you are going to do an instructional video please be serious and stop clowning around. The classroom is a classroom and not a comedy club so just be serious , straight forward and get to the point. I had to play your video numerous times and use the closed caption feature just to understand what you were saying.
