If you feel the need to be in a safe space constantly, the military is probably a poor career choice.
Yeah I can't imagine that someone who is offended by wrong pronouns would do good under fire.
But that's the problem; the military and civilian leadership are actually initiating and supporting this ideology. "Safe space" people are actually being encouraged to join and being accommodated.

I did 4 years in the Navy as a Gunner’s Mate 00-04. All the woke stuff was starting to infect the military even then… the big thing at that time was me too way before it was called me too… I saw so many guys getting falsely accused of rape. My testimony to NCIS actually saved a guy’s ass once. I was so clueless at the time I didn’t even know what exactly was happening. I just witnessed a couple kissing the night before like a block away from the ship and said hi to them before heading back to the boat… apparently she had to be at present and accounted for at midnight, she was having sex with someone instead. To avoid accountability for her actions she said she was raped. I was called in and questioned by NCIS asking when I saw them and where and what they were doing. The guy never got sent to prison so I’m guessing her me too crap was exposed as a lie. Crazy she never got in trouble for lying though.. saw a lot of that happen to guys while I was in…

Having reitred after serving in both the Navy and Marines I can honestly say the Navy has pronouns and has for years your pronoun is Rank followed by your last name, this has worked for more then 200 years no reason to reinvent the wheel.

A story I will remember to this day is when I said “thank you sir” to a guy who helped me get into a door that required a keycard. He started getting mad that I had called him sir and later gave me a whole lesson about pronouns.

As a gay man that serves in the army I think this is stupid and it takes away from our actual mission which is protecting our homeland. The enemy is not gonna give two flying Fs about your gender, pronouns, religion, political beliefs, nationality or ethnicity. Their objective is gonna be to take you out. Doing pronouns training is just pure ridiculous. I’m a man and that’s all you need to know. Anyone can join the armed forces no matter who you are. Some of my top leaders are gay, lesbian, etc and they don’t do BS like this cause if your in the military EO is a safeguard against dummies. Now that doesn’t mean you allow folks to disrespect you and we should treat one another with respect and honor. Me personally have folks made comments about gays yes but that was the least of my worries cause those folks was shammers, 💩 bags, always in trouble and was eventually chaptered out. Me on the other hand I was working on points, getting awards, nominations, recommendations, and learning leadership skills so that I may be an effective leader one day. I just received the humanitarian award for helping the Afghan evacuees last year where I’m stationed in Europe. I am pretty sure this was somebody's pet project at NAVSEA. It has not been widely disseminated or required in the Navy and in my 21 year Naval career I have never encountered a single instance of this nonsense. So no need to panic just yet.

This came on AFN TV on Camp Humphreys base South Korea! I was baffled and pissed off to the point my kids were not watching TV unless me or the wife were with them. Even that, they were only watching certain programs that we approve.
As a retired corpsman. This is me off like nothing else. If you wonder why China, North Korea and everyone are ramping up their military. It's because this makes us look like a bunch of brain dead, weak, cowards. This had no place in the military. Training, discipline, readiness, mission. This has always been my stance on all of this crap. Why are we catering to such a small group of the population? I, myself, refuse to go along with it.

A female friend of mine (she's a proper Xena warrior princess, 6 foot and muscular) applied to a private security company that provides security in dangerous areas of the world and at the start of the interview the interviewer asked her first and foremost asked her "what are your pronouns? We want to make sure you feel secure during this interview". She walked out there and then. Never was so proud of her.
