@0:12 It also shoots 35mm with the official optional adapter and mask (= you can also use it without the mask and get exposure onto the sprockets!

The light meter is inside the RF window. So top tip while using this camera is to make sure to remove the lens cap before use. Best to have a UV filter on the lens and keep the lens cap off. Also, you can only change lenses when the secondary curtain is closed and the main shutter is wound. The plastic aux shutter curtain knob breaks easily as people try to force close the aux shutter without cocking the main shutter.

Hi Nico. You touched on 135 film in passing, but it's worth noting that the Mamiya 7 shoots the same panoramic format as the Hasselblad Xpan, so you have a top 6x7 camera and an Xpan combined, making it pretty good value for money!

Hi, Is it worth buying the Mamiya 7 II + 80mm f/4 £3500-£3800? User says it is immaculate. Is it too risky to buy as they are old. User says he bought it new in 2003. Is this camera recommended for portraits and travel? Do these cameras break as they are old and has electronics.

Hola!

I had a Mamiya 6, and there was the light meter inside the rangefinder window. This caused sometimes pain to me
    a) a mounted lens cap is not recognized as the light meter always shows meaningful values nonetheless (as it is not TTL)
    b) depending on the used lens the light meter varies from very spot metering (short focal length) over center weighted to integral (long focal length)
