- This video is great fun as we watch these dune warriors have a great time with ridiculously powerfull sand rails. I want to try it! We hope to see more in the future. For more NRE information go to NelsonRacingEng.... For help getting your products to the internet marketplace go to VeritasMovieStu....
I need to work hard in life so I can own one of these when I'm older...wow, these things are crazy fast!
Wow this looks like great times, everyone feeling the high.I will never have the kind of money it takes to live the high life.I guess I'm lucky enough to look at it.I hope everyone has a great life, thanks Mr. Nelson for the video.
Very cool to see this here!!!
NELSON IS KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simply BAD ASS! So cool seeing a NRE powered rail here in Oklahoma at the Little Sahara dunes.
My car (honey badger) also weighs 3840# without anyone in it. So to run like that and jump that high and far is Kinda crazy!! Thanks Tom
I am obligated by the 5-30 and blood that pulses through my body to watch every single one of NRE's videos....... ....... And dream......
god i love this channel
Sand eats horsepower like no other. The more you have, the better off you are.
thanks for the input captain buzz kill...
awesome video, those buggies are badasssss!
man I wish I had the money to put one of those motors in my 83 jeep j-20 that I am restoring. Would make one badass mud truck.
i agree it are just two amazing engines thats the point
Sand rails has come a long ways since aircooled VW powerplants!
GM's Ecotec has been pulling those numbers for years. I'd like to see Nelson do twice that with an Ecotec, I'm sure the engine is capable.
Daaaaammmmnn!!!!!! These guys should build motors for Nascar!!!!
Little Sahara State Park in Waynoka, OK. Small park, about 3,000 acres. Thousands of people there every weekend. It can get really crazy. Lots of drinking, money, adrenaline.
Weekend after Easter 25,000 people easy.
thanks
Off the chain!!!
By honey badgers gps speedo we r running somewhere between 105 and 115mph and this runs are about 500 to 600 feet.
Actually all of NRE's V8 builds can run on 91 octane until a certain power level, then you start to get detonation and such, there's still ethanol blends though, allowing for more power and torque than regular gasoline, but still using a common fuel. Also, the TT SBC-based engine you see in the video (1800 hp) will actually do 20 mpg on the highway if it were in a road car, and is emissions legal in California.
Jackson sands cars from great bend kansas my town
im pretty sure hes talking about an emission legal 4 cyl and one that runs off of pump gas and not nitromethane
actualy it is especialy when it has a R30 head on it wich is a SOHC head that has less wear and tear then a DOHC
Not sure about 1800 but definitely around 1600. still fucking impressive
A couple vids back you showed the chevelle with a 502 big block crate motor with an alien intake... I was wondering what the cost would be to get an alien intake on my 70' GTO...
that's amazingly cool ! thumbs up if u like snails
they could but i just love v8s
Really Interested in the music at 0:50 to 3:30!!!
Are you saying NRE couldn't make a damn stout 4 banger?
you tube should really have some more ads on this Vid, there's to much vid and not enough ads
@linadsenoj it's by dj exphixa
Wicked
yeah but a RB30 with an SOHC is more dureble therefore its has less chance to break or total engine fail not that a 2jzgte is bad but power is not all power+durabillty is great balance
but I want it to rev to 12k and make the power around 9-11500 :)
google "An example of truly impressive turbo engineering". The most they could get from a 4g63 was like 1500 hp, with titanium and beryllium alloy internals
Thumbs up if you didn't know Oklahoma had sand dunes.
how do i get that esham Cyanogenis Glycoside song
if your going to do a 6 cyl then make it a 2jzgte
First of all , in case you didn't notice , this is as much a vid about sand rails as it is about engines and there are plenty of sand rails with 4 cylinder engines , thus one point for relevance . However , I guess you really have never heard of a performance engine with 4 cylinders ... oh well. Other than that , he wasn't trying to advertise or enhance traffic to some site , thus still not spam . How you can justify calling it spam is beyond belief .
I love V8 engines too but I don't think that a guy should have his comment flagged as spam just because he suggests NRE try to see what they can do with a 4 cylinder engine . Flagging as spam is for people who really are spamming . Remember the boy who cried wolf .
Horsepower is a calculation of torque X rpm, F1 engines make big horsepower due to the fact that they can turn 18,000 rpm, they don't make very much torque, they probably could barely move the car at say 4,000 rpm. And if you put one in a 3,500 lbs. street car, it would never get off the line, and probably couldn't handle the load. They're a different animal, and can in no way be compared to a street engine.
i dont know anything about dunes but is there ever a time that you could ever use more that 400 or 500 horses ? what gear could you get in out there im assuming you never hit 4th but somebody who knows please reply.
i think nre should do a 4 cyl just fo shts and giggs th fastest 4 cyl is the is a 4g63 start there lol
pretty sure audi, bmw or something managed to get 1800 hp out of a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder back when formula one allowed turbo motors.
You really aren't talking about the same subject matter that's in the video when you mention a 4 cylinder engine. The subject matter in the video is of an actual performance engine, incase you didn't notice.
nothing new, BMW did this in the 80's ,1.5L 4cil F1 engine, 1400HP in qualifying trim.
in 2014 the turbo's will be back in F1 but i doubt if they are going to be as radical and unrestricted as they were back in the 80's
Song?????????????????????????????
music from 0:48 to 3:30??
its not about top speed... a 1000 hp car will go 60 in no time and a 100 hp car will barely go 60 in 30-40 seconds what would you rather do? they both go 60 but one is just different than the other, when you're out in the sand trust me power is a good thing
or make A RB30DETT
the guy with the most money always wins.......
haha no im at exactly the right place i just wana see some numbers lol
Seeing what they could do with an Audi V10 would be nicer
yah but every one knocks 4 cyl i think it would be bad ass if that had a 2000 hp 4 cyl lol
Then why is he commenting on a Nelson Racing Engines video? Like any of these engines run straight pump gas and are emissions legal? get real.
You're*
yah i just no 2js make ignorant power
no.
There's a reason why F1 engines get completely rebuilt after every race and cost a shitload of money...
thats still ignorant lol if thay can do that with 2.0 y is there no 3000 hp 4.0
Spam is the use of the comments section by someone to leave a big advertisement having nothing to do with the subject matter of the video . If a person isn't advertising something and they are talking about the general subject matter (engines in this case) then they are not spamming . Just when I thought the web was growing out of this way of dealing with differences in opinion ...
your in the wrong channel
Talking about "you know what" on NRE's channel is spam, plain and simple.
You`re* (just saying...)
first!!!!!!!
