Jason, your vision for your layout is amazing.
Your talent in bashing a kit to get it exactly like you want is fantastic.
Thank you for sharing your tips and techniques.
Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Thank you so much Michael!!! I always appreciate you! 👍
Hi Jason, your videos are so relaxing to watch and so informative. You are definitely professional doing this work.
Thank you so much!
Once again, a very beautiful structure! You are a great colorist, Jason. I love the colour of this tobacco shop: black and yellow. Thanks a lot!
Always great tutorials Jason.. another KOM from FOS Scales nicely finished..
Happy Father’s Day..
Thank you so much Ed!!! I truly appreciate it! 👍
The conductor has never missed a day of work in over 20 years on the job.
He was there come train or shine.
Thanks for watching Robert!!!
Looks great......
Thank you so much John!!!
Bravo! Very inspiring, thanks.
Thank you so very much!!! 👍
Thanks for Video Jason.
Thank you so much Gary!!!
Hi ya Jason. Oh! A Reader’s Digest version of one of your builds. Nice. And a fascinating look into the future. Thanks. See ya.
Always appreciate hearing from you Norm!!! 👍
Another great build... kit... and video Jason. Watched it three times already ha.
You build almost as fast as I used to...
Wonderful result as always and a very informative video, thanks.
Karl. A
Thank you so very much Karl!!! I truly appreciate it and thanks for watching! 👍
Very nice work !!!
I'm mesmerized by your painting.
You really do quality work.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Scott!!! I truly appreciate it! 👍
It wouldn't be a Jason Jenson build without some Buttermilk paint. ;)
LOL! That’s right Lynn!!! Thanks for watching, I appreciate ya! 👍
I love seeing how you do your little alterations. It's always fun making a kit a little different, or sometimes a lot different.
Thank you so much Greg!!! I love making things unique to my layout. Always great hearing from you!
Thanks for letting us see the future of the layout. Really coming into focus now.
Thank you so much for watching!!! I really appreciate it!
Jason,
I really like the way you're doing videos now. They're not so long, but you show an amazing amount of detail in the build. Great work!
Thank you so much Phillip!!! I really appreciate you watching! 👍
I love how noir your layout is. It really captures the aesthetics that would influence cyberpunk literature. Amazing work as usual!
Love the character of the buildings you are choosing to build for your layout!
Thank you so very much!!! I really appreciate it!
Amazing work as per usual Jason! I'm starting this kit tomorrow. It will be my first kit attempt.
I've never had success with "tar paper", so I use either wood shingles or wood strips. Then again I work in F scale, outdoors.
Always nice to see another one of your videos. Can't wait.
Thank you so much Scott!!! I truly appreciate it!
Jason, your work is wonderful. I love your layout. Wouldn't it be great to see it one day! Thank you.
Thank you so much John!!!
Hey Jason, during your close-ups of today's building I could literally smell the tobacco-and-printing ink smell that was so typical in those stores!
Thank you so much Norm!!! I definitely remember shops like this when I was a kid growing up in Iowa. Thanks for watching!
Little details really make the scene. Those small buildings and shacks add so much. I’m envious. N scale just doesn’t offer as many choices in smaller structures. I’m still practicing scratch built but don’t have options. Looks great Jason.
Thank you so much Gene!!! I really appreciate it! Keep practicing your scratch building! 👍
Fantastic build Jason.
Thank you so very much Greg!!!
Beautiful kit. Thanks for share. Jason.
Did you dilute the stain ? The paint?.
Thanks . Cesar
Thank you so much!!! I did not dilute the stain or paint! Thanks for watching!
Sweet little structure. Will you be putting a foundation underneath eventually or can you use without? Also, what was the dimension of the wood you used under the roof that was not in the kit? Thank you!
I definitely will be adding a foundation to it. The trim is 1/16 wide (the face of it) and 1/32 thick. Hope that helps, happy modeling!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains Thank you
you always for the most part use chalk paint what color do you like the best and why do you use chalk pant vrs reg paint???
Chalk paint is really super dull. I think my favorite color in chalk paint is Cacoon. Thanks for watching!!! I appreciate it!
I would love to make my own board and batten walls but not sure about the right tool. Would you suggest laser engraving or something else?
The Layout is never really "Finished"
Yep, building is half the fun....
I hope it never gets finished! Lol, I won’t know what to do when it’s finished. Thanks for watching! 👍
