Thank you for posting and making this series, Chris. It is truly an inspiration to watch your critiques. Content like this reminds me of the work your channel would post 4+ years ago, just focusing on the fundamentals but pushing students to do their best. I hope you find it beneficial to post such work again. I believe watching and rewatching your content is truly the reason I got into grad school (M.Arch) and eventually became an editor for my school's design magazine. It is great to have seen your channel grow so much and even evolve with the current trends. As a long-term viewer, I hope to see your channels continue to make life-changing content for the foreseeable 'futur'.
Awesome! I really appreciate critiques like this as it helps sharpen my design sense; am I seeing what other experienced designers are seeing? What are the things I'm not thinking about that I should be? et al. R.I.P. Virgil.
Obviously biased, but this is my favorite episode of the series. Especially breaking down Patryk and Chris's incredible designs. Good choices from Chris Do.
This content is 🔥 I learnt more from these 3 videos than what I've learnt from any other video on the channel - technical and real world design skill. Thank you so much, and please do more!
After watching the series I went ahead to design the poster just for some fun and practice. The direction that I did and I am surprised no body did it was focusing on the Logo it self. If you look at the logo it forms the letter X and if we Deconstruct it which was one of the words given we get the letters V and A the initials of the founder Virgil Abloh. What I did was I sliced the logo in half and then used each half as the initial letters of our founder VA and for the rest of the letters in the name I used Bison Bold which geometrically fitted perfectly with the VA from the logo.
