This is a great idea, and it inspired me to do just that! I host a podcast (Titans of Type) where I explore the lives, careers, and minds of history's most influential type designers. Would love to have you check it out!
I'm a little late to the party, but if you're interested in more content on history's greatest designers, I host a podcast exploring just that. It's called "Titans of Type".
You've given me an appreciation for Paul Rand I've never had before. Seeing his art and poster design, I understand his influences and respect how he incorporated them into advertising and brand design. Before this video, I never knew what the fuss was about. Please do the same with Massimo Vignelli.
for new Designers that are trying to dip their toes in the ocean of this Artistic Beautiful world (im one of them) Chris Do is The Man, Thank you very much Chris.
Did you know that Mr. Rand had so much passion for aesthetics that he changed his name from Peretz Rosenbaum to Paul Rand just to make it easier and memorable
Same! Couldn’t find anything like it on the internet, so I started a podcast. I read a biography for each episode. Would love to have you check it out! Titans of Type is on most podcasting platforms :)
he is legendary, learned about him at a young age around 1998, I was only 7 and then got to know his work more when I was in college in 2011 Not too many people i put up there with the phrase "legendary"
I watched a couple paul rand youtube documentary videos but i must say this by far the best one i seen so far. The pamphlet thing is such a genius move to present the product.

I absolutely loved this piece. I'm just starting to dabble into graphic design as a complementary skill to the main activities I do daily. I would very much like to see more of this content where you take a look at the current work of contemporary designers, how they were inspired by legends like Mr. Rand, and how their work pushes the industry forward. Happy birthday, Paul!

Another great Graphic designer was Saul Bass,

Did you know that Mr. Rand had so much passion for aesthetics that he changed his name from Peretz Rosenbaum to Paul Rand just to make it easier and memorable
More like he changed it from a Jewish last name to a non-Jewish one because of antisemitism. Many people did that back then.
