This, along with a couple of the foreboding Ted/Tracy scenes in HIMYM, are the only tv series scenes that have ever made me tear up. Damn, this scene, this entire episode, got everything right.
If i had a nickel for every time one of my favourite TV shows used Running Up That Hill in a scene where a main character dies, but not really, i'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that that happened twice.
