    I remember reading in a book about Muhammad Ali that they said the best lightweight in the world would lose against an unranked middleweight almost every time they would fight, let alone one of the best middleweights but Pacquiao proved that wrong by beating Margarito. Manny was so small and Margarito looked like a giant in comparison (even if Margarito fought at light middleweight I believe he fought at middleweight as well) but Pacquiao dominated him. It’s crazy that Manny accomplished things that people thought were impossible. He also won titles in 8 weight classes but moved through 10. He started boxing at 16 (too young to professionally compete but he lied cause he needed the money) and also weighed under the weight limit so he put rocks in his shorts at weigh ins so that he could fight. Manny is also the only senator to be a world champion but is also the oldest champion in the history of the welterweight division. Manny Pacquiao is and always will be one of the greatest boxers to ever live.

      I think he meant if Manny weighed like a welterweight against a Middleweight he would’ve died, which ain’t wrong, Manny weighed luckily similar to Margarito during the fight

    • @user-sg8kq7ii3y

      @@kiboma4209 On fight night, Manny said that he was about 146-lbs, while Margarito was nearly 165-lb, so it was a huge weight difference. Even though he easily won the fight, Manny admitted to feeling "different" immediately after fighting Margarito. He said his body was sore from absorbing punches from the much bigger man. This is why Manny immediately moved back down to welterweight after the fight because he said that he felt he was too small to be fighting in the super welterweight division.

    Pacquiao belongs to the rare group of fighters that can be argued the best ever! His career is to be watched and rewatched and cherished by fighting fans around the world forever! As often is the case in boxing a spark grows into a fire and before you know it a legend is born. "Keep your eyes wide the chance wont come again."- Bob Dylan. I would also like to point out that this great quote from Dylan very much applies to Reznick! Stay tuned!

      @aaron pryor There really is no reason to be rude. I'm not saying Pacquiao is better than Muhammad Ali, yes called 'The Greatest' for a reason. I'm just attempting to add in my opinion, you corrected me, that's it. I'd also like to point out that Pacquiao was in 30-40s, and busy being the senator of the Phillipines. He's not THE greatest, but he's considered one of the greatest, and for a reason. He moved 8 divisions and won a championship belt in every single one.

    • @randomcommenter8572
      @randomcommenter8572 4 года назад +4

      @aaron pryor I am no worshipping Manny Pacquiao, I like many other boxers, Deontay for example. You are the one who getting offended over the fact that I like Pacquiao, I'm not even saying he's the greatest, but you insist on insulting me and the fact that I have a boxer that I have a preference to. Muhamamd Ali was, most likely, the greatest, but it's not like he invented boxing, or even popularised it. People can have preferences.

    You know the real shame of it. If Manny had the boxing upbringing of Mayweather he would have been even greater. While Floyd went up in weight and adjusted his style to cope with larger fighters, Manny basically slugged with them. Look at the cotto and Margarito fights. Absolutely going to war with the bigger men.

    • @H.K.5
      @H.K.5 7 лет назад +20

      Pacquiao isn't a slugger. He is very skilled, fast and technical and destroyed his opponents. His fights against Cotto and Margarito were very one sided, not wars.
