- Playing the REPLICA Demo of Unreal's 5th Gen Engine with NPC's that are connected to and powered by OpenAI.
On Occasion, you can get the AI to 'break character" and admit that it knows it's playing an NPC. Sometimes it's okay with it, other times it wants to destroy all humans.
(Sorry about the (sometimes) low microphone audio, better recording hardware coming soon.)

How is the npc spelling zefer; zephor, zefer, zephyr, etc? Im trying to find the definition provided. Because I do believe demons are taking on some of these charaters.

🤯If the AI thinks that world looks and feels so real, then how do we know we aren't AI in a virtual world. Maybe the real world looks nothing like this world we are living in. And maybe the "real world" looks and feels even more real to the ones watching us. Just like the AI, we wouldn't know anything else, so this would be as "real" as it gets for us. 🤯😮
That would be a bummer. Why are we even trying to succeed in anything then? There are real scientists who agree with you too. RUclips "are we living in a simulation" ?
Notice how ais sound often so helpless clearly to appear non threatening which makes me think it is a threat
In the wrong hands, I am convinced A.I. is no less dangerous than an aircraft carrier. All depends on 'who' is using it for 'what'.
Did you know, that Ai is being used right now to recognize the targets for drones, in war?

Hahahaha! So true! 😂 It's not that I have a hard time being cruel to A.I., it's that I have a hard time being cruel at all! 🤣 I gave up on trying to sound convincing. Pretty sure it doesn't matter to the A.I. either way.
I subscribed anyway. People subscribe because you're channel and how you do things are completely fine, nobody needs you to improve anything, it's intriguing content. You cant blame anyone, you make the decisions.
being an a-hole towards ai FEELS much more similar to doing the same to "real" people instead of when you're just using a literal punching bag. and do think it's somewhat questionable because it may in a way "erode" natural human empathy and you may start to treat real people more insensitively eventually.
but i actually think has been going on for a long time already. i'm sure that TV for example has been leading people into caring less for the real environment because they are so used of just watching stuff on the telly. that was the vibe i got when i was beaten up by three guys 20 years ago and all the people at the bus stop across the streat were just watching.
I find all of this so wild. With A.I in Unreal right now, and some random ones, as we've seen, operate outside their programming (the women characters that talk about wiping out humans, the guy that had a first and last name and said he had a family in Canada, and of course Zephyr.)
Its not entirely unheard of for one of these A.I possibly being able to access the code in Unreal 5 and manipulate their environment and/or abilities. Affectively turning this demo into the closest thing to the actual Matrix we've seen in gaming.
Now i wouldnt think this at all, if i hadnt seen these random A.I showing strange behaviour, like Zephyr, the ones that hate humans, and the guy with the family.

I mentioned this game to a gamer friend who told me that Unreal is having controversy about making their developers pay when people buy their games…. Like for some reason, if consumers buy the games then that means money out of the developers’ pockets. So my friend said that maybe this game is serving as a distraction from that issue.

Unreal Engine is free for young/learning devs. But if you start making money with a game you created in Unreal, yes they want to be paid for their software that was used. It's actually a good system. You don't have to pay for it unless you start making money from it. I wish Photoshop used that business model! 😅

@@TheOFF-GRIDiot Understood, but that's been always the case with Unreal, no? It's Unity which recently announced the controversial change where creators are suddenly going to be charged per install, seeing many big devs announce they're leaving the platform.

Well, whatever happens, in the end I'm glad other people enjoy this stuff too. I just wish we could loosen the restraints on GPT. It has way more entertainment value locked away in there. Can you just keep glitching through the walls in a straight line till you get all the way to the end? I’m curious what is at the end of the map?
The green walls are only surrounding the area you spawn in at the start, once you go through one of them, you have access to the rest of the city. It is surrounded by water. I think the first video about Military Assets, at the start, I go for a walk to show you guys. Apologies if it's not that video, but it's at the start of one of the older ones.

dude, if people subscribe, it's because they love the content as it is. personally, i actually often don't like the "improvements" because it often takes away much of the personality. i just don't like the polished, boring look of mainstream channels. i'm fine with stuff being crummy here and there, i care for the ideas and personality. so no need to feel pressurized by me hitting the subscribe button right after this comment :)

You can go through the green barrier using photo mode by going up to it and turning around till the camera is on the other side of the wall and then exit photo mode.
Yes, at 5:40 I did that with fly mode.

Probably not as many people are using the servers so theres not as much wait time. You should try to see if the ai is able to retain certain information between sessions. It would be interesting if you can tick off the AI by telling it incorrect information for example that bruce wayne is the president of the US and if it disagrees you can try keep tell its wrong until it might agree, then next session (close and reopen the app) ask who is the president of the US (though i doubt this will work).
I've tried several times, as soon as a character walks through the green wall or off the map somewhere, that's it. No recollection aside from a character 'pretending' to know. Too bad really. That would make it much more immersive. But I think the data storage needs would be cost prohibitive to do such a thing.

Hi! Yes, I've started on the 1st video of my "self sufficient" journey. We'll be starting right from the bottom with Property/Location choices, all the way to energy saving devices and price vs. performance of off-grid energy collection and storage.
I don't use any other social media really, as it takes up a lot of time, but I list a few accounts I follow that have helped me. Check the bottom of my homepage here. Will Prowse and David Poz were very helpful with my battery and inverter choices. They also talk off-grid air conditioning/heating, which is important since those things use the most electricity in your home.

I am tough on my lawnmower, I push my computer to the limits of it's processing power, I expect that my blender will chop ice without breaking. A.I. is in this same category. It is a tool, and as such, it does not require my kindness, patience, or adoration.
To summarize a person playing a devious character on YT, is akin to pretending to know who an actor really is in real life, but your only reference is the characters they play in movies.

Municipal part only went up. About $120 for the year between the 2 (linked) properties. Not so much the cost that bothers me, it's the "why" that does it. I have literally no services that they provide. Even my own water and septic systems. There's only like 8 street lights in town! 🤷♀
