+Stack Up I saw the movie twice in theatres (Once on opening day, and another when it was in the dollar theatre) Then when I got the movie on DVD, i lost track of how many times I watched this film :P
This is so markedly different from the first movie's end credits, and perhaps for good reason. The first film represents the IDEAL of America...and the second film reveals more of the colder, harder reality that America is today.
+Falamu445 Every true Hero has to face the dark truth, lies and corruption to make the world a better place. No patriotism is an excuse for ignoring the truth, this Movie Cap´s time had come.
+Falamu445 I think is more about how the times have changed especially for the Cap. The first movie was set on WWII when USA just got into the war, so it represents the american patriotism and fervor to the max with enemies such like overpowered nazis. This one works with how USA has evolved ever since, and even making the emphasis on Peggy's being a founder of S.H.I.EL.D. just to turn out their enemy was within them all along, distorting the vision they once hold.
I seriously LOVE those creative credits scenes. Especially when it starts naming the actors and instead of telling which character they played, they actually show something indirectly referencing said characters. Gives me the chills.
Me toooo! I am so obsessed I have made a whole playlist out of credits like that to watch over and over again! If you haven’t already, do check out the Eternals end credits, its one of the best end credits sequences ^^
Love all the symbolism in the credits. HYDRA under SHIELD, weaving it's tenacles throughout, the three helicarriers, Cap busting shit up and his trust being broken, but the star and his shield remaining intact, Bucky's image drenched in blood red, and the bittersweet pic of Peggy in Steve's compass. Can't wait to see what the Russo Bros do with the MCU next!
I hated the Civil War soundtrack, except for the Winter Soldier theme. Especially the track for the final fight between cap and Tony. It was so generic, and really brought the intensity of the fight down for me
ThaVrisco He's an Austrian composer.Check the soundtrack for Pacific Rim,300 and 300 Rise Of An Empire,Man of Steel and Batman V Superman:Dawn of Justice. He did all those soundtracks.
ThaVrisco Yea he did those but there shite compared to his best, such as lion King, inception, interstellar, pirates of Caribbean, the dark knight and the last samurai
This movie, especially the soundtrack, forms an amazing contrast with it's predecessor. I think CA has the most unique trilogy of all time. Civil War theme should be fucking nuts.
Love the symbolism of Peggy on that same compass, always leading Steve to the direction that's best. But my most favourite has to be Brock Rumlow's. The head multiplication reflects Hydra's main motto of "Cut off one head, two more shall take its place." WOOT WOOT
So awesome and bad-ass. One thing I like is that with Marvel movies, you know there's always gonna be a post-credits scene, so most people stay, and everyone gets to enjoy the creative end titles.
AboAbdulable I watched it twice in cinema. And I still missed it smh. From incredible hulk onwards though I tend to stay through the end. I'm just surprised that in 2017, people still walk off during the credits -_-
Im so glad that marvel is reusing this in Falcon and Winter Soldier. Amazing music that captures the tone of the show (the heroism and political turmoil).
The best MCU theme music. Also the best end credit, simple infographics using silhouettes but very effective and clear. The second creative and unique end credit is Black Panther's - the use of sand to create objects on point.
Anybody noticed the subtle symbolism in the red lines behind Alexander Pierce at 1:48 and continuing to move to the next frame to where Fury is? Nice touch for an end titles scene.
Yuuuup brilliant touch, shows that Fury as much as he wants what's best for the world he still has his own form of corruption. Love grey characters like Fury
Still my favourite Marvel film. And not only that: In all objectivity, it is a fantastic movie. Great plot, great actors, great visuals and great soundtrack. I didn't know much about Captain America before the films because in Europe he's not really popular. But now he's by far my most favourite Marvel character. Really admire him.
Same here, these movie get an awesome introduction for what captain america really means and the movie simply 11/10 im from colombia and i was team cap before these movie and much more after this one
I love Captain America Civil War. Top 3 MCU movie. However Winter Soldier is still #1 on my list because of how it really changed the game for the MCU. I remember watching it for the first time being so impressed with how great the storytelling and action scenes were presented. It felt more than just your typical superhero movie. There's so much more to Cap winter soldier and the character moments across the board were done soo well. Civil war is amazing.. Its incredible no doubt. But to me Winter Soldier is a special film. It was the type that made you a fan of Captain America if you weren't already, and it also set a higher standard for future movies after it.
I can't imagine how the makers of MCU would have visioned this day when it would become one of the most successful franchises of all time. And its still going on strongly. How it will continue in phase 4 is any body's guess.
Didn't like John Walker as a character. Loved Wyatt Russell who played him, friends of mine actually played Hockey with him in Vancouver when he was younger. Told me he was an amazing person and teammate.
Henry Jackman had seriously the best soundtrack out of the three Caps. I wish this main theme would play in Falcon and Winter Soldier since Henry is once again scoring that series.
A more somber version of the Cap theme in this movie was played during the John Walker reveal at the end. I think this main theme is core to Steve Rogers and without him in the show there's no reason to include the theme that much. They do play the Falcon theme more prominently especially in the credits, which is fitting considering that he's the central focus of the show
Three simple colors, powerful symbolism, compelling score. Amazing!!! I love how the stripes of the American flag are made by the three helicarriers and they become the twisted legs of Hydra. Then, Cap has to break the stripes--his former trust in SHIELD/authority--foreshadowing Civil War! These credits really give each character their due, acknowledging their significant roles. The complex character of Winter Soldier is so masterfully portrayed with the initial blood red star, then of his shadow being a bloody American flag--his internal struggle between his heroic past and his bloody deeds with Hydra. THESE CREDITS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is hands down, the greatest of all the MCU end credits so far. The artwork, the animation, the spectacular music - everything just combines beautifully to give you a taste of what this awesome movie was about. This, along with Driving With The Top Down from the first Iron Man for Stark, are the two best character themes in the MCU for me.
More like inconsistent from film to film, making less memorable. The Avenger's theme, Iron Man's theme Iron Man 3 (ugh...) and Thor's crowning theme (from the 1st movie and returning in Ragnarok) have been the only MCU songs to stick across multiple films

Winter Soldier promptly became my favorite MCU character and while the film had great reviews when released, as time has gone on (and I learn more about the original comics) I gain more and more respect for the Russos and the brilliance of the actors in this film. IMO a magnificent job translating comic material/art to screen.
the winter solider part awesome
personal opinion: winter soldier, thor ragnarok and black panther have the best end credits of any and all marvel movies, they give me chills every single time
Best movie and theme of the Captain America trilogy. my opnion.
Jadde Fonseca best theme of the MCU and the standart are very high this movie and its soundtrack its simply a masta piece
That opinion is a fact.
I love how it’s stays on The Winter Soldier for a few seconds longer. Putting emphasis on the name of the film.
I love the way it builds up continuously, fucking chills would be an understatement
No one can blame you if this is your favorite Marvel movie 🍿
I watch this and I want to cry. Knowing the actual crappy state of the MCU. Back then it was soooo good, also the score, even the closing credits
This is the best soundtrack moment in my life , and give my spirit back to fight for the truth , really spectacular and salute cap😊
Best Marvel film EVER 🔥
🔥🔥🔥
The best movie Marvel ever made, the high water mark. Also the best theme.
How did Civil War get a rating of 8.1? This is way better than Civil War. The Winter Soldier was suspenseful, the music was great and very catchy. I don't understand how Civil War had a better rating than The Winter Soldier.
Nket's Alt civil war has more star power and also has great story that people is also torn between team cap and team tony. Winter soldier and civil war for me are tied for being the best mcu film so far
Civil war is a multi hero movie of marvels...thats why it gained attention..however winter soldier movie is my favorite
Seriously how can an awful MCU movie like Eternals get so popular whereas early MCU films like the Winter Soldier are far superior yet so underrated
Eternals isnt popular
@@jontullett9068, yeah it is. It’s got like a bunch a merch in every store while The Winter Soldier doesn’t.
@@Beanie-Inkling2749eternals bombed the merch was Disney trying to push it.
@@Beanie-Inkling2749Merch just means they’re trying to make their money back
Best MCU movie even after Infinity War and Endgame, it's so good that even the credit scene is awesome!!!
No Infinity War, no Endgame, THIS is the best movie Marvel Studios has ever done!!!
100 prnct
Infinity war doesn't have any credits montage.
Cap 2 was one of the best IN PHASE 2, Infinity War is the culmination of everything so it's always going to be TOP TIER
To hell with IW, the CGI mess!.Winter soldier is best hand to hand combat movie i hve ever seen and yes i hve watched Kingsman,Raid ,Daredevil,Blade ,Matrix etc
When this was my ringtone, I didn't answer so I could listen to end, then I would call them back. Obsessed w/everything about this movie
Anytime I feel like I want to give up on something, I listen to this.
Haha, I can do this all day!
Still one of the best credit sequences.
I still get chills in 2019, just hearing this...
This movie was everything. I saw it in the theaters with my mom and grandmom. I was 10! Time flies, man.
One of those endings that still gives chills and made me feel so epic coming out of the theatre having witnessed a great Marvel movie! The Winter Soldier was so good and I love this theme and end credits so much! 25.8.2023
Idk why this movie is underrated among the marvel movies...
What do you mean? Everyone says it's one of the best.
