- Captain America : The Winter Soldier (2014) is one of the best Marvel Studios films. It is a gift that keeps on giving with the new Disney+ series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier". Cherry on top, the closing credits sequence with its animated graphics and its incredible "Taking a Stand" theme by Henry Jackman is simply EPIC!
I've always wanted to remove a lot of the text which I find distracting in order to enjoy as much of the graphics as possible. It's been a longtime in the making but here is my "Hero Edit" of the end credits animated sequence. Only the actors credits are left for each character portrayed in the graphics.
The sequence loops 5 times (10 minutes) because why not? All of it is in glorious 4K for your enjoyment.

Oh my god this was the best film i've seen, i go there with my sisters that was 2014 in cinema, This was the best mcu film and it seems realistic too.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier illustrated this brilliantly.
This stands as still the best artistic end credit scene in the MCU. The transitions between characters, the symbolic movements representing the dueling parties. I rewatched this recently and was just smiling, because this imho was the moment the MCU got serious and transcended "comic book movie" status.

As Captain said, the organization wasn't as they thought it was. New Hydra grew and you see the tentacles along with the mechanisms of the helicarrier. Also, Captain's trust is broken but he still stands strong and takes the lead. In Avengers, it feels as it is out of necessity but in this one? Yeah.

Never in the entire history of captain America has he ever been this bad ass!!! The opening, the credits and the end credits. THE SOUNDTRACK
This theme brings me back to the Golden era of MCU movies. Good old days.
This one credits scene is still my favourite MCU footage/graphic design sequence ever made. Deceptively simple and incredibly impactful. Really took me by surprise when I first saw it since big action films almost always go for pure spectacle over more refined technique.

2. CA: The winter soldier
2. Sam raimi Spiderman 2

This movie was top notch and arguably the best work to come from the MCU, but damn whoever animated the credits needs a raise. Simple, but complex, with powerful imagery littered throughout. That graphic of bucky would make an absolutely fire poster.
I just watched it again after years, had to search for it and here I am. I'm obsessed with the credit scene!
8 years later this is still one of the BEST movies i've ever seen and definitely the best mcu movie, it had a great balance of seriousness, action and comedy and it didn't overdo it like most other marvel movies

The heroic horn section, where Chris Evans' name appears give me chills, every time.

And it picks up again when Anthony Mackie appears, for both captains.
That visualisation of Cap representing SHIELD growing on the surface and Soldiers of HYDRA growing beneath is just damn good creativity! And that soundtrack....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is exactly what you would see after a 40 minutes long episode of a Disney+ MCU series when you’ve just been left on a massive cliffhanger.
If this movie could shit, that shit would would be better than any of the Disney+ Marvel shows. No one should ever mention this movie and them in the same sentence. Hell, no one should mention any post Endgame Marvel movies in the same sentence as this movie. Marvel MCU has fallen off a cliff after Endgame.
This was the MCU at it's peak because TWS was really just doing it's own thing and succeeded better than any other. The ensemble cast films succeeding is a given. This was a breakthrough.
One of my few regrets in life is not having seen this in theaters. This IS my favorite MCU movie with a good argument for my favorite movie period.

I couldn't watch it in theaters also, but somehow my local theater enlisted this movie for a limited time I believe 4 years ago.
I took my wife to watch it, very few people went, but I remember during the highway fight, everybody was on the edge of their seats!! (They even stopped grabbing popcorn or sipping their drinks). Good memories.

One of the best MCU films. I miss when Marvel movies used to be more down to earth, with hydra, and S.H.I.E.L.D, and less alien spacy magic things
I LOVED seeing the marvel characters in a grittier, more realistic setting. Seeing how the writers took children’s comic book stories and adapted them into a more grounded world. Where the Avengers were more so extraordinary people in an ordinary world, rather than the ordinary people being the ones out of place in a wacky magical alien mess.

I love the silhouettes being animated so much since they're clearly drawn to emulate plenty of Marvel's comic book artists. Any comic book fan can recognize Jim Steranko's style at 0:47 - 00:55 and 1:14 - 1:17
This was absolutely *AMAZING.* I _REALLY love the graphics _as well as_ the music. (I always thought this song was the "Jet Sabotage" track from the soundtrack...I had no idea it was called "Taking A Stand".)

It’s probably one of the most emotionally hype themes I’ve ever heard in my life, Henry Jackman is an animal lol - that plus they used the slowed down graphics to counter the hypeness of the song to keep it focused - I dunno, I think every Marvel movie should literally end like that

I remember when I saw this when I was junior in high school. At the time it had been 3 years since I saw the first Captain America in middle school and I completely forgot about Bucky. I didn't really remember him being that important in the first movie. Then when this came out it really refreshed it.

Henry Jackman is a beast at work here. Was pissed that they led the infinity war and endgame with Silvestri, but he did a hell of a job. Just wished they had used at least one of jackmans theme.
Why pissed? He scored the Avengers originally. I'm with on Henry Jackman though, brilliant theme here and in the FATWS.

One of my favorite things about The Marvel Cinematic Universe is their uniquely designed end credits. I absolutely adore the Winter Soldier’s end credits. Absolutely amazing editing and artwork.
This movie had it all! Great cast, chemistry, best ending credits and theme, suspense, fight scenes. Best MCU to date! I feel like Cap and Black Widow's chemistry was more realistic than Black Widow and Hulk's chemistry. I also prefer Winter Soldiers ruthlessness in this one vs (Post Winter Soldier) Bucky's nerfed character.

The Endgame credits hit me hard because it was the end of the Original 6 Avengers MCU era but no credit sequence gives me chills like Winter Soldier's. The musical score and visuals are perfection.
Best end credits EVER
These films were best when they successfully mixed genres. Christopher Nolan pulled it off in 'The Dark Knight' - which was a cross between an Alfred Hitchcock thriller - and a 'superhero' film.
'Winter Soldier' was another such triumph, where a James Bond level spy thriller was blended with a 'superhero' film. Alas, it's too bad this genre can't pull this type of movie making more often. They're works worth reviewing again - and again.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a space adventure. Thor is a fantasy. The Incredible Hulk is an action thriller. Captain America: The First Avenger is a war film. It happens more often than you think.

This one, the CG sculpt one from AoU and all the cool "purpleness" of the Black Panther one I can honestly say that I adore! :D

Yes, the edit (Order, and names removed) is the way I intended it. This film is foundation to a trinity of characters (Cap, Winter Soldier, Falcon) and I grouped them together in the edit. I don't care that Johansson is/was a bigger name and got second billing.
As for the removing the other actors names I explain this in the description, the only names left are those with an animated character, exception is Stan Lee, because who would dare to remove his name?
