I liked how they showed the guy pulling out matches and how they at first would light up his surroundings, but then would soon go out. I think that represents temporary happiness or pleasures in this life, things that for a period of time help us, but then when held on for too long, they end up “burning us” and we have to let go and find another source of light. This is why I love the gospel. Even when everything else seems so appealing at first, like money, or having certain friends, or alcohol, or anything of the sort, these pleasures are temporary. They only give so much, and they really end up taking in the end. The gospel is a never ending fire, one that cannot be dimmed, because truth and light never die, but everything else will.
I had the experience of bike crossing that same tunnel with my wife while living in Washington state... it is really DARK inside as it makes a curb in the middle. It is an abandoned train track... the sight seeing at the end is WONDERFUL... this video brought me sweet memories and a beautiful spiritual message!!!!
Choose to be the light in such a dark place. God has and always will be the light that guide's his children. And we all carry a spark of hope, love and gratefulness within us all. Learning to live to love life. In our darkest moments and in our brightest is balance. Thank you for this video. Peace love and light.
Scripture study, striving to pray with heartfelt sincereity and keeping any eye out for opportunities to serve others on a daily basis constitute in my mind the exercises that will help us have the light we need during those dark moments in our lives when we will need it most. Martín and Daisy, if you read this one day please know that I love you and hope that you will choose the light. Dad
I love this video and have watched it several times. This morning while watching it again in preparation for a lesson I noticed the old telephone pole on the bridge at the end. I don't know if the director included it on purpose (I'd like to think he/she did), but it reminded me of the cross, and I saw it as symbolism representing how Christ and His atonement bridges the "awful chasm of death and hell" between us and God. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the cross used more in our worship; not to glorify His death, but to remember the price He paid to free us.
Wow, could not have expressed this any better! It takes away that visual picture 📸 in your heart and mind of the notion that we are all just living here day to day, and expands your thinking 🤔 and opens heart ❤️ to what will I see in the "LIGHT" as I draw nearer to our LORD and SAVIOR. Thanks, I need this. 💜
Guys, I found it. The first song "All is Not Lost - Tony Anderson" as stated by Chandler Rawlins. The second song is, thanks to Shazam, "Honor - Ryan Taubert". I had been looking for the song for too long.
I could not find that quote on the LDS.org website. Instead, I found this one: www.lds.org/ensign/1971/06/man-cannot-endure-on-borrowed-light?lang=eng In it is the quote "man cannot endure on borrowed light". The key word there is "endure". We can live on borrowed light. This man did just that. The point of this video is that because he did that he got to the point where he had his own light. He had to rely on the light of another man to find his own light.
Even if the "You cannot live on borrowed light." quote were worded that way, the word live means more long-term reliance. Like what Bob said, you can briefly rely on the light of others, but to keep such light in your life, you must be able to have a light of your own.
The light of God is the beacon that leads to His son Jesus Christ Moroni 7:2 and it's Jesus Christ that points back to His father Jehovah God - Mattew 11:27. His Son also revealed himself through the architect and spirit of the father as well - John 1:1-3. Because God is the architecture of one's existence and validity - Hebrews 11:10; Hebrews 3:4. Now as much that they are one in purpose, not in physicality or substance John 17:3.
Ok, I am absolutely sick and tired of watching these videos, hearing the music and not finding any credit to the music. Some of the best stuff has been kept a secret! Please post credit to the music!

“No matter how intense the darkness of doubt we choose how long and to what extent we allow it to influence us” love that ❤
So good!💛

He is the Light!
While watching the video, I felt scared for his life and felt relief when he already crossed and saw the light in the tunnel...

I feel the eternal truth of what is taught by this as it speaks to my soul! Beautiful message!
The decisions people make sometimes, always get to me. The message was wonderful, the story was unique and interesting to watch.

I’ll try this myself, but the app “SoundHound” can find songs if you let it listen to them for a sec. Give it a try!
