The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Chronograph (310.30.42.50.01.002) "sapphire sandwich" is encased in 42mm stainless of steel surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle. Features of this Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Chronograph include hours, minutes, seconds, anti-magnetic, chronograph and tachymeter. This Omega watch also measures 13.5mm in thickness and 47.1mm from lug-to-lug.

They should make a 40mm speedy, exactly like this one. The 42 works with the smaller lugs but a 40 would fit better on most wrists I've seen this watch on.

It wears like a 40mm watch.
The 42mm is because of the asymmetrical case, shear guards for the crown and pushers.
Lug to lug is compact as well.

@@petrokersta5293 I know, but a 40mm would feel less crowded on the wrist. The lug-to-lug is what saves this watch but a 40mm would be absolutely perfect. Honestly surprised they haven't done it yet. The SMP300 too.

I can tell you it was after I purchased mine in 2021. I don’t have the micro adjust. It may be 2022 but can’t be sure. I would highly recommend buying it with it. I wish mine had it

@@Timepieceguyif you have the hesalite version then the (all brushed) bracelet does not feature micro adjust full stop. Only the Sapphire sandwich, which comes with part brushed/part polished has micro adjust.

I have a couple of Omega's and while I appreciate this watch, I just can't bring myself to like it. The bracelet and clasp are beautiful and the movement looks stunning, but for me the dial is mundane and the pushers are too close to the crown. I think the 44mm dark side of the moon version looks proportionally better and is more visually pleasing with the splashes of yellow.

I think the Speedmaster would look even better if Omega used silvered hands and applied hour markers with same amount of lume. I'm just not digging the white painted hands.

It’s gone up in price, sure. But what other equivalent watch (tech/history etc) comes close for less. I mean you seen the price of the latest IWC Ingenieur!

It's worth the price, always been priced to low for what you get. And now with the upgrades the watch is even better. I bought mine from Omega and it's worth every penny. I don't like wearing other watches anymore, it pretty fast became my favourite watch in the collection. I forgot to say it only gain 1 sec per day. Some days it doesn't even gain. The movement is amazing for the money.
